The artifacts form Brazil are all over the place with painting on the wall. They look straight out Brazil. There is a little music stage corner near the entrance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Our original intension is sample their Sirlion Picanha and Moqueca Fish Stew with shrimp. Our waitress, Anna, answered our questions on menu with a wonderful smile. We quickly realized this is too much food and to switch to Skewer of Meats or Espeto de Churrasco with two appetizers, Coxinha and Cod Croquettes or Bolinhos de bacalhau We started off with a Caipiritas or a Caipirinha with a small Corona beer. It has a little tart, and refreshing taste with a little hint of sweetness. Next, we shared the Coxinha with chicken filling. This is a popular Brazilian street food snack. The Cod Croquettes is a traditional Portuguese dish with a mixture of potatoes, codfish, eggs, onion and a little nutmeg. They crunchy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside! The Skewer came standing on a heavy wooden base. It has steak of sirloin Picanha, succulent smoked sausage and chicken wrapped in bacon. The meats were all delicious. This is a hidden gem, a hole-in-the-wall that friends and family will question your judgement over your suggestion of taking them there... until they are inside and have experienced it. I'd give this establishment a 4.9/5. Is it in a less than optimal area? Yeah... but the food is solid! They do serve your favorite drinks, caipirinhas are always refreshing! and have a great menu. My husband wanted to come here for Father's Day and we were glad we did! Be prepared for slower service and longer wait times for food, as it comes out fresh and it's poppin'! If you've never been to Latin America, you must know it's typical to call your server over and ask for the check. They do not rush you and have a way different style of service. The environment is very cute and definitely something straight out of Brazil. As far as the food, it comes out hot and fresh! We liked all of our choices!! Oh my gosh - this place is incredible. The staff was so helpful and efficient. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. We had not had Brazilian food before, so we weren't sure what to expect. I had the Calabresa which was wonderful. I don't handle spicy food very well so I was a bit nervous about it. It was not spicy but was tender and had an excellent flavor. So My meal was 6 bucks plus my AYCD tea. They do have a extensive menu with other entree costing 7-24 bucks. Delicious!!! Only getting 4 stars instead of 5 because I like my picanha steak cut in small slices and they don't have a buffet bar. Most churrasquerias do. Other than that, the food is top quality. Flavor, flavor, flavor!! The rice and beans are delicious, the steak is seasoned to perfection, their empanadas are amazing, the caipirinha is AMAZING- no matter what flavor you get, it's perfect, and if all that was not enough, their passion Fruit mouse is AMAZING! I had the Feijoada yesterday and it was ridiculous. It came with 2 pieces of bones and no meat at all. Paid a visit to this restaurant recently and we're disappointed by the food. The service was a little but ok and that is about it. We tried some Brazilian dishes in the menu : the Caipirinha drink tasted bitter (old lime), the Picanha tasted stale and overcooked, the Feijoada had no meat - only bones and the yucky parts of pork in it. I always like to give my feedback to be business first to allow them to make corrections so I mention this to our nice server and I hope they can take the necessary changes. We just finished a delicious meal at Cafe Brazil in Fort Myers. 8 of us dined in 8 different entrees. Wow, fresh ingredients with every dish and we are amazed. Friendly server taking time to talk to all of us. Knickknacks from Brazil all over the place, and you feel transported to that beautiful country. The food is too good! When you say you sell churrasco but no smell of charcoal anywhere in the restaurant that should've been our signal to leave but decided to give it a try. I go here all of the time for lunch. It is never over busy, the buffet is full of good food with fresh mixed salad greens and other salad stuffs. You can eat as little or as much as you want from the buffet. They charge by the pound. I'm not a big fan of all you can eat buffets because they encourage overeating and food being left on the plate. We loved it! This was our second time to visit Cafe Brazil, and both times were really outstanding! We loved the Brazilian atmosphere with the flags, the paintings on the wall, the Brazilian music and TV, and the wonderful Brazilian foods on the menu. My wife had the steak with onions and I had the mixed skewer with beef, sausage and bacon-wrapped chicken, and they were so beautifully presented. I especially loved the skewer of meats standing up from a heavy wooden base. The meats were all delicious, and my black beans and fried yucca were some of the best I've ever had. The servings were large, and we'll have enough from our leftovers to make a couple more meals.
