Had a large order placed thru my employer, however my Salmon sandwich came without nothing. PLAIN JANE! Description states on a bun with spinach, tomato and lemon aioli. All I got was dry a** bread with salmon. As if this Monday didn't suck already. Thanks Buffington's! Your lousy lunch went straight the garbage can.

For my first night in Milledville I went to this bar with some colleagues. The bar is located in the center of the city, you can many bars in this street and you park easily next to it. I had a very good evening, bands can have access to the stage and perform live. We came across a young band that night that was really good! We stayed until closing time at 2am. We will definitely come back, the bar staff was very nice and there is a very good atmosphere inside. You can either sit at the bar or on a table, with a pretty large group given the size of the place

    #YelpsBigNightIn ( @yelp ; @yelpaugusta ) My 1st dinner
    Tony S.

For #YelpsBigNightIn ( @yelp ; @yelpaugusta ), I had not planned on having Southern and Tex-Mex. But, I been wanting to try Buffington's for a while. Also, being outside of the area for my Yelp community, I wasn't sure if it would work. Additionally, didn't want to go out 2 days in a row, so I used KNG Delivery. In reviewing the online menu, I saw that being a Bar & Grill, I didn't really want a burger. So, I ordered 3 Appetizers. Diggity Dank (typo on the Menu? Should it be Dang?) Nachos (full order; about $2.00 more than a haf order), with White Queso and Pico de Gallo: Now, because of previous soggy delivery of Nachos, I asked for the chips to be separated. Well, not only did they separate the chips (yea!), they separated all the ingredients. 8-) This was my first time in trying this kind of Nachos. And, I must admit, I found it pretty darn tasty, without being overly spiced. And, the chips, while a tad thicker than I'd prefer, were fresh, and crunchy. The thicker chip held up better in this dish. 5 Stars Fried Mushrooms with Ranch Dressing: I love Mushrooms (on pizza, in pasta sauce, Chinese food, on a salad and plain for dipping). But, these Fried Mushrooms were delicious. Though, I did find the Ranch Dressing to be a tad too thin. But, it was still very good. 4 Stars. Fried Pickles with Chipotle Ranch Dressing: Now, this is only my 2nd time having Fried Pickles. So, I don't really have much to compare it to. But, whereas my first time in having them, The coating was crispy. And, it covered every pickle chip to where it was difficult to tell what it was. On these, the coating was super thin. And, to be honest, they weren't drained very well (there was some pickle juice in the bottom of the box) before dipping into the batter. Nor, where they crisp. To be honest, they were very limp. Also, like the regular Ranch Dressing, the Chipotle Ranch Dressing was also on the thin side. I did find the pickles to be too vinegary. But, they were good. 2 Stars Also, there's plenty leftover. I should get at least 2 more dinners out of it. 8-) But, over all, I did like everything. And, I will want to try them again.

We went there last night to end my birthday weekend celebration and ordered drinks. They have my new favorite cider flavor by the Atlanta Co in the can (Tiki Haze) so a perfect start .. We ordered the appetizer sampler and everything was amazing and fresh and made in-house. The chicken fingers were chicken breast split. the shrimp tempura was fresh made in-house and the mushrooms were freshly made. Everything was amazing. To top it off the bartender, ANNIE was FABULOUS and the blueberry lemon raspberry layered cheesecake is to die for! With a live music, it was a perfect evening for my birthday in town at Buffington's. We will be back.!

Another slam dunk in Milledgville. The best part about this place was how welcoming it was. As soon as I got into the restaurant I was welcomed by the bartender, Callie, and several of the locals who have been coming here for years. both Callie and the locals were awesome - heckling on who the cook was and what I should eat. Amazing southern hospitality and spirit. I had the Backyard Burger and fried pickles on the side. Let me tell you, the burger was amazing but the fried pickles were the best I've ever had. I asked the bartender if they were still crispy, and she said, "Trust me. You're getting the pickles. They're awesome." And they were! Probably the best place I've found in a while. Great food and even better, great people. I immediately felt welcomed. The space could use some renovation, ceiling tiles, floors etc. That's probably the only negative I could say. Absolutely recommend this place.

Waited forever for someone to take our drink order and 30 minutes to get drinks. Got the world's smallest wings! Will not be back!

Tonight, was the first time that I tried this place. Now, to be honest, anytime a place has Wings in their name, I expect great prices (which they are), very good quality and taste. Since my disappointment with the wings from the other place, I wanted to try AJ's. So, using KNG Delivery, I had a 15 piece Mild Hot Wings, with Ranch Dressing. I was surprised to see that both the drumettes and winglettes, were on the small side. But, despite being small, and Mild, they had a good bite to them. And, they tasted pretty good. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of variation in texture of both the drumettes, and the winglettes. Some were slightly dried out. While others were fresher tasting, and more tender. Also, with 15 wings, I was surprised to see that I was given only 1 small container of Ranch Dressing for dipping. Luckily, I had some on hand. Now, as I mentioned, the price was great. But, I think I'll skip the wings on my next order from here.

Milledgeville Ga. Ruby Tuesday…read more Upon my arrival at approximately 1:15 PM on Sunday, my initial impression was influenced by the host staff member at the front desk. While she promptly approached, her demeanor lacked the anticipated warmth and welcoming engagement. The greeting felt impersonal, and instructions regarding seating were not clearly articulated, leading to a somewhat uninviting start to the dining experience. It appeared that this individual might benefit from further training in guest relations and front-of-house etiquette, as she seemed somewhat stressed and perhaps unaccustomed to the role of greeting and seating patrons. Proceeding to the self-service station, I observed several areas requiring immediate attention. Approximately six to seven items were either depleted or very low, necessitating replenishment. Accessing items in the back row proved challenging for myself, and notably, an elderly guest in front of me struggled significantly to reach even the third row. This indicates a potential design or operational flaw that could hinder the guest experience, particularly for individuals with varying physical capabilities. Furthermore, the cutlery provided was visibly unpolished and appeared soiled, as was the accompanying napkin, making it unappealing and unusable. The preparation of items on the side bar, specifically the red onions, could be refined. While the produce itself seemed fresh and well-chilled, the inconsistent cutting--ranging from small slivers to large, irregular chunks--detracted from the overall visual appeal and suggested a lack of attention to detail in presentation. This is an easily rectified issue that would enhance the aesthetic quality of the offerings. In contrast, the manager on duty presented an exemplary model of guest service. She was consistently cheerful, readily engaging with guests at the entrance with a warm smile, and proved to be exceptionally friendly upon my departure. Her presence was notable across various operational areas, often emerging from the kitchen, suggesting she might have been assisting with back-of-house duties or covering for potential understaffing. Despite these varied responsibilities, she maintained a polite and friendly disposition towards all guests, though I did not observe her interacting directly with tables for service. A minor point of concern was the cleanliness of the front double doors, which were noticeably covered in fingerprints. This suggested that a thorough cleaning had not been performed recently and impacted the overall first impression of the establishment's upkeep. Regarding the cuisine, I ordered the New Orleans seafood dish, which arrived promptly, hot, and fresh. The zucchini was cooked to perfection and seasoned appropriately. The dish featured a good-sized piece of tilapia, which was well-seasoned. However, it contained only three small shrimp, which were almost "popcorn" shrimp-sized. While the overall presentation was good and the sauce atop the dish was delicious, the shrimp portion seemed disproportionately small compared to the rest of the plate. Despite this minor point, the food was enjoyable. Richard Biancardi

Since I hadn't the opportunity to get here (DoorDash isn't contracted with PNC. And, when I was still driving, there were too many places to go to), it was, a last minute decision. And, I am certainly glad of it! Though, considering it was, 12:40 when we arrived, it wasn't very crowded. I think, being a Tuesday afternoon was the reason. Had it been the weekend, or after work, it would have been a different story. Now, I gotta admit, paying $13.00 for a Double Mushroom and Swiss Burger with natural cut Fries, is a bit high imo. BUT, considering I have had nothing to eat since finishing the meal at around 1:30. The burger was delicious, and satisfied my cravings for a M&S burger. The fries were good, but not very hot. And, not heavily salted. Service was excellent! And, the waitress was very nice and, attentive. Unfortunately, she didn't have knowledge of the alcohol content of their Draft and IPA beers (the names definitely sounded woohoo), I went with a Peach Margarita. Now, I asked for a Traditional one, but got it, On the Rocks, instead (not sure if she misunderstood me. Or, if PCB doesn't serve them). It was potentially good.

Dear Longhorn Steakhouse Management,…read more I am writing to provide comprehensive feedback regarding a recent dining experience at your establishment. I visited for lunch today, arriving around 1:45 PM. Upon entering, I observed a moderate number of patrons, approximately 30-35 guests. My initial impression was positive; I was promptly greeted and seated by a host/busser almost immediately. However, it quickly became apparent that there was no silverware available at my table.. It also seemed they assisted in bringing my beverage, as my designated server appeared to be under considerable pressure, attending to multiple tables and also guests at the bar. This suggested a potential staffing shortage, a challenge many in the industry currently face. It took approximately eleven minutes and twenty-two seconds for my server to reach my table and take my order. While the salad was delivered swiftly, I found myself once again without silverware, rendering it impossible to begin eating. This necessitated a further wait of nearly twelve minutes and forty-four seconds before my server returned with the appropriate cutlery, at which point my entrée was also served. This double delay in obtaining essential dining implements significantly impacted the flow of my meal. Despite these service challenges, I must commend the culinary team wholeheartedly. The salad was remarkably fresh, delightfully cold, and thoroughly delicious, with the chilled bowl contributing to its crispness. My burger was exceptional - perfectly seasoned, cooked precisely to my requested medium-well, and served on a wonderfully toasted bun. The overall food quality was outstanding. While the iced tea was a touch stronger than my personal preference, this is a minor note on an otherwise superb meal. In summary, my experience presented a stark contrast: the quality of the food was unequivocally five out of five stars, an absolute highlight. Regrettably, the service received warrants a one out of five. While I recognize that short-staffing can create operational difficulties, the delays in basic service, such as providing silverware, significantly detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal. I believe there are opportunities to refine service delivery even when resources are strained. Thank you for your time and consideration of this feedback. Sincerely, Richard Biancardi
