We took so many samples home to test "the lighting ". We had 3400 sq feet if tile delivered. We had one broken box, which they eagerly replaced. I came here out of convenience but will never do business with them again. I am new to the area but not to the industry. I have purchased tile from many different places for my fix/flip projects over more than 10 years. Almost everything in Buffkin's showroom is special order (which they don't tell you) and NOT returnable. I found that out the hard way, so don't expect to return anything if you are disappointed, don't use it all, or in my case didn't even open the boxes because it didn't match the sample. $200 down the drain. $200 they wouldn't honor so they lost me as a customer forever. They told me I was better off selling it myself online. Wow! It's too bad, their employees are so friendly but terrible business standards. Do yourself a favor and drive to Orlando and visit Floor and Decor instead. read more

I found myself at a point where I needed holes cut for the shower pipes and I couldnt do it with my saw so I went back there. 5 minutes and it was done. They couldnt have been more happy to help me. I wasnt made to feel bad because I purchased my tile at Lowes. No pressure to buy from them but if I ever need tile again I definitely will. Actually when I go in there I try to look straight ahead because they have such beautiful choices I am afraid to see what I could have used in this bathroom. read more

I called them because I was going to have an estimate done for all new tile in my home. I asked some basic questions and the woman on the phone said she could not answer them. She did say that they are not cheap and probably would be the highest estimate I would get. Who says that to a potential customer? I felt as if I was bothering her by calling for information. When we moved into our house in late 2015, we hired Bufkin Tile to take out the carpet from the master bedroom and second bedroom and install tile. At that time, the back patio was enclosed and we had a large concrete patio added outside of the enclosed patio. Bufkin Tile installed the new tile for the back patio as well. In January 2022, we finally decided to take out the existing wall separating the enclosed patio from the one that was "outdoors" and enclose the entire patio to make a large Florida room. Of course, when the existing wall was removed, there would be a gap in the tile. Luckily, we still had some leftover tile. Rob from Bufkin was happy to come out to our house and check out the project. While he was there, he also noticed another tile that needed to be replaced. He gave us an estimate on the spot that was well below what we expected. We told Rob about our plans and he said no problem, just let him know when the rest of the work is done and they would come over and take care of the tile. He took a piece of the existing grout with him to match the color. Okay, the screen enclosure is completed on a Friday in April and Bufkin Tile comes over the following Wednesday to remove the existing tiles, prep the floor for the new tile, and place the new tiles. On Thursday Dave came to grout not only the newly installed tiles but the entire length of the patio where it meets the house. He is truly the best grouter in the business. It is an absolutely beautiful job. But, we're not done yet. Dave came back on Friday to do an acid wash to make the already perfect job absolutely spotless. We've counted on Bufkin Tile for several different tile installation jobs over several years. They ALWAYS exceed our expectations. Every person who works for Bufkin is an artist. In our opinion, there are no alternatives. read more

Not a big fan. They have a great tile selection, and we found what we wanted and ordered it. And they charged us on ordering it. But two weeks later, we got tired of waiting about the order and called, and they said 'oh, yeah, that line of tile is no longer available and somebody should have called you. Nobody did. So we went back because they said they had something that might work. It was WAY different than what we wanted, so we had them refund our money. They should NOT have taken our funds unless they had what we ordered, period. Bottom line, they have tile on display that is not available, but they still have it on display, that's one star. But if they KNOW this and try to sell you something else, after having tapped your bank account, that's bait and switch. In short, they drew from our account BEFORE they could deliver, and then tried to find something we would like. Negative five stars. Will never do business here again. read more

Had to have our leaking shower pan and tile replaced in the shower. They said they could not match the tile but brought a brownish tile that they called gray, much darker than our dove gray. They didn't even show it to me for approval! laid it all except for the floor before I saw it. I think it was left over from another job and I think they didn't want me to see it. They did lay down thin sheets on my hardwood floors but they just smeared "mud" all around as clean-up, dribbled it on a textile that I got in Africa and called it clean. The coup de gras is that my shower still leaks!! They are coming over today or tomorrow but what a joke! A $1600 joke! read more

I called inquiring about a very expensive tile that I was hoping they carried or could find for our 10,000 sq foot home. The lady answered "HELLO!". I asked if this was Bukkfin Tile and she hastily said "Yes". I asked if I may inquire about a tile they may carry, and she said that tile doesn't sound familiar and did not even ask if she could try to find it for me. She did not seem eager to make a sale. Customer service is 100% how you earn my business and if you don't impress me over the phone, I usually don't move forward. I suggest they rethink answering the phone after 5:02pm. It seemed that she was in a rush to leave. read more

We have used Buffkin Tile for all of our tile projects in our 2 Cocoa Beach condos and found them to be extremely helpful in helping us find a tile to fit our needs. I also appreciate their ability to pull coordinating borders and accessories. We have found them easy to work with as we are able to select our tile and then when our contractor is ready for it they order it and call us back in Michigan to let us know what the charges will be. Our contractor has had no issues getting, or picking it up, and in fact if there are extra boxes they have taken them back! They have a great selection and helpful, friendly staff. I only wish we had a Buffkin Tile back home in Michigan! I would, and do recommend them to everyone! read more

I have to say there seems to be a disconnect between the lovely & helpful person who took our order "Donna" & the very rude "Angie" who answers the phone there. We could not have asked for a more pleasant person to help us in ordering our tile. We were told 7-10 days our tile would be in & they would call us. After 8 days we decided to call & were told our tile was in & had been there for a few days. The dismissive rude way our call was handled made my husband almost cancel the whole order. It left us with a sour note & will not do business with them again. It is a shame that 1 person can change your whole experience. read more
