The owner and office staff were very nice , until I had a problem. The person who came to resurface my bathtub did not use any sort of air ventilation during the whole process until the very end they used some sort of contraption for like 20 minutes to ventilate the chemicals outside. My special-needs son was there and my cat was there. They never said anything about you us leaving the house for a while or anything like that. They never gave me any instructions on what to do before, during or after the process and they did not leave any sort of instructions on what to expect. I walked in the door at 8:30pm at night and got blasted with this extreme chemical smell which I had a huge reaction to. I called them the next day and they said oh it should be gone in 24 hours. No it was not gone. I had to open up my whole house go buy some air purifiers and fans and still a week later I had horrible chemical fumes. I had a quality air guy come in and test the air and do an air scrub on it and I also had to go rent an air scrubber machine at Home Depot to try and get the fumes out of my house, now it's two weeks after and I still have the fumes in my house that he says are not toxic in any way , I requested SDS sheets that are required by law and they have yet to get them to me and now they are not responding. If you are sensitive to chemicals in any way, do not get this process done without getting all the chemical information before they do it! Lesson learned with a lot of pain! read more

I chose Coastal Resurfacing based on reviews and due to an advertisement I received in the mail. I needed to have my 37 year-old tub and tile tub surround resurfaced. After a Coastal rep came out and gave me an estimate, I added on resurfacing of the top of my vanity as well. Everyone from the business was friendly and professional. Will, my technician, was respectful, answered all my many questions, and sought my input when there were choices. His many years of experience in this field were evident in the finished product. The quality of his work exceeded my expectations. It was completed today, so I can't comment on how it will wear over time, but Will asked me to call if I had any issues. I complimented Will on his good work ethic and asked what motivated him. He said that he worked for a really good boss, and didn't want to disappoint him. From the office staff to Steve our installer, our experience with Miracle Method was top notch! The appointment for our tub resurfacing was made easily, and we were even called back later to see if we wanted an earlier appointment when they had an unexpected opening in their schedule. Our resurfacer, Steve, is the kind of employee every company likely dreams of. He was prompt both days, so friendly, yet professional, and he worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect with the job. He was so neat and tidy cleaning up all his tools and waste each day before he left. Our guest bathroom may never be left that clean ever again. We have christened the tub, and it's beautiful. I believe the process, while not inexpensive, will be worth every penny. Our tub had been previously resurfaced twice (by different companies), neither of which lasted any length of time before peeling and cracking. Stay far away! We hired these people at $1550.00 to resurface a tub and shower area 15 months ago. This was the highest quote we had. But they had a warranty that was supposed to be outstanding which it is not. At 18 months we called them with bubbling, tears, and cracks in their work. They used the wrong caulk which is basic around the tub where the tile connects. Cheap caulk equals stretching and tearing. The technician came out and fought with my wife about not doing the warranty work. He told my wife "you get what you pay for when you hire maaco". So basically saying the work is cheap. Which for what they charge is not. I called the owner directly and they ended up agreeing to do the work. An employee showed up to do the work. Was the only one on premise when a blue tooth speaker was stolen. Either he took it, or when he left the doors unlocked, someone else took it. The owner said he would replace the speaker. But later said he will not. In the mean time they were the only people in the residence with access to the plumbing in the bathroom after we had the pipes resurfaced. A couple days later the tub was used for the first time. A plumber was called because it immediately backed up. At the "t" in the tub drain work towels were found. Which is far from a coincidence considering the conversations and actions by this company. We requested the insurance for this company and the refuse to give it. Just saying take me to court. So if you want bad work with additional damages that they will not pay for. Plus the technician set AC down to 64 degrees and left it there. Very unprofessional owner and technicians. read more
