    Side of my cabinet

Oscar was hired to paint my interior walls and kitchen cabinets. He took over 800$ for a down payment. There were multiple botched walls in every room. He then started my cabinets, left and never came back and stopping answering my calls. Never use this company!!

Didn't sand and paint the holes filled

A long one but just maybe worth your time and money. Oscar left our project unfinished with the following for me to resolve. See pictures for reference. A bit all over the place but it shows the poor quality work. - Sloppy paint job on kitchen cabinets (looks like they just went and brushed it on when he made it clear they would remove the doors and paint them separately with the the spray gun for an even finish) and unpainted parts of cabinet frame which confirms the doors were not removed to do the paint job properly. - Bathroom cabinets and frame unfinished $2000 job for cabinets -Master bath only one coat of paint which isn't sufficient, you can visibly see the previous paint color - Paint drips - Paint splatter - Terrible edges and finishes - Electrical plates uncovered (lost all screws) - Unmounted TV (he misplaced the screws so now I have to replace it with a new mount) - Window treatments not back in its place *basically, failed to replace all things he took off to paint my home - Windows scraped from a very poor job in painting window frame, scrapings left -Trash and tools left for now 3 weeks This was a $7000 project which seemed like was going well until the end. He scammed me to pay him good faith money for the remaining balance promising he will come back to finish the job the next day. I gave it to him b/c up until this point, we had a pretty trusting client Next day, he messaged me his wife went into "emergency" surgery and to give him a couple of days. I messaged him after a few days to check in to see how things were going with his wife and when he thinks he will be back to finish the job as we needed to move in. He asks for a couple of more days stating his wife had a hysterectomy (TMI; imo) and can't do anything. Fine, I then gave him the benefit of doubt although I had my reservations. Again I had to follow up a week later (as he never checks in to update me) to see when he can come. He tells me later in the week he will come, at this point I'm telling him I need the job finished and that on my day off I need him meet me at the unfinished home. He says yes. The day comes and I waited total 3 hours after he told me multiple times he was on his way: I'm calling him No answer so I text. He replies claiming he had to turn back because his wife was unwell? And when was he planning on updating me on this situation? I'm calling him again to talk about our next steps (I'm thinking to call the police at this moment) multiple times, no answer. I call him later in the day, to my surprise; he answers and seems apologetic and ensures he will make sure to have the job finished on the weekend , again using his wife as an excuse. He reiterates he wants to make things right and that he wants my business even in the future, blah blah. Unprofessional but I still give him the benefit of the doubt. What else do I do? The weekend comes, no show. And hasn't called or messaged me. I assume he will not be back after taking all the money I paid him, leaving the job unfinished and his tools just laying here in my garage. He also promised me as a service (but later charged me $300) he will replace my wire shelves in some utility closets with wood ones/ took the wire ones out and never put in the wood ones leaving me with closets with no shelves. I had to hire someone to put back my shelves. He makes you believe he is fully at your service from the beginning. He is all talk. ALL talk. He later says different things, gives surprise costs, while seemingly having good customer service. I found out after the fact he previously was under another name "MZI Painting and Remodeling". Go look at those reviews and you can confirm this isn't his first rodeo. He must have pulled this trick to get away from those reviews under a new business name. Well guess what; he hasn't changed. I am only writing this review in hopes to save anyone else in the community from this nightmare and thief. It is truly a shame as he is a "family" man who has a wife and children. He is also a soccer educator being entrusted with children of the community. A real shame.

Paint on window tint, entirety of double doors will need re-tinting.

Disaster! Pressure washed window screens which were ripped to shreds. Paint spilled in flower beds, over shrubbery, etc. Zero caulking used. Fascia repair botched. Broken security light, missing security light bulbs, gutter damaged, painted brick work, painted sealed wood deck, and paint on stained deck. Painter said he would come to pick up tools, that were in my yard for 2 weeks along with the trash, but only picked up a cooler. Never asked where the tools were, just drove off. I stored them due to the HOA regulations - he accuses me then of hiding them, without even asking me anything. I repeatedly texted him to get them for 2 days. Other rater is quite right in the word "shady." After 2 weeks, job was about 50% done, but most of it was subpar and needs to be redone. This is aside from all the damage caused. See pics. Avoid at all costs.

Windows are scratched and ripped up from trying to remove paint

I really wanted to write a good review for Certa Pro painters…read more I waited several months since our painting was done to be sure we were not over reacting. We have used Certa Pro painters in three other states that we've lived in and have always been very pleased with the work, but unfortunately this time it has left us disappointed. We had interior painting done last fall. There were countless drips & paint mishaps left on the floors in every room, door trims, kitchen cabinets, etc. I had to touch up the white trim & cabinets before Christmas since we had guests coming to visit. I found dozens more splatters on the floors recently as I washed the floors on my hands & knees after other upgrade projects were completed. Pics of just a handful are attached. I scraped up a lot before I started taking pictures. It doesn't seem they used drop cloths at all. The bathroom floor had a partial paint footprint behind the door. The biggest disappointment is the way the wall paint now appears around the door frames & shower stall. You can see where the wide brush marks and rolling were not blended. The wall trim paint looks like a brushed stripe in comparison to the rolled paint.....around all the doors. Simply put, it looks awful. We've never seen this before with Sherwin Williams paint which we've been using for over 30 years. Poor quality work, poor clean up, sloppy edges. I gave them 2 stars only because the coffered ceiling paint came out nice even though there were numerous drips on the floor in that area.

Great company to work with ! Thanks to Ryan for…read moreprofessionally handling with my project. I had my house exterior painted within 2 days. So glad to find this company. highly recommended if you are looking for a good painting company. Happy customer
