The biscuit was decent, but the flavor of the gravy and the steak brought it all together. The quality reminded me of another sports bar here in Bend that has really good breakfast/brunch foods. They are delicate but sturdy enough to hold the sandwich together, tasty and not overpowering. I like the way the kitchen places, the lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles in a small pile next to your burger so you can add any or all of it to your burger. The servers also bring out ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and ranch dressing to add your burger if you choose. I like all hamburgers so this burger goes in my top five list. All of the servers are great and they make you feel like an old friend rather than a customer. If you like burgers, this is a must try place!

Folks complaining about the vibe or the service while standing smack in the middle of the University of Oregon is like being surprised there are Ducks at Autzen Stadium. Context matters, people. My wife and I stopped in recently and had a genuinely great time. The service was solid our bartender was attentive, friendly, and made some damn good drinks. Food? On point. Nothing felt rushed or sloppy, even though you could tell this place knows how to stay busy. And yeah, it does get busy... because it's popular. That's not a flaw, that's a flex. The location is fun, the energy is lively, and I could absolutely see this place turning into a full-on party once the Ducks are flying high or the weekend rolls around. If service ever slows a touch, it's not because they don't care it's because half of Eugene decided Rennie's was the move that night. That's just college-town math. The bartenders are attentive and sweet, obviously stressed but how could they not be. They also offer free popcorn which is so so excellent. There are a lot of strategically placed water stations as well. Great vibes always.
