The food was awful. Bartender was nice. Tequila was good. Food was not good. The sandwiches were bad. I ordered a French dip and the meat was so dry and lack of flavor and My Mother ordered a Philly cheesesteak and it was like a sauce poured over the meat and the bread was soggy. read more

My husband and I went here to play bingo on Monday night. We had a great experience. I just ordered an iced tea while we played, and it was tasty & just how I like it! (Unsweetened with a lemon wegde) I tipped the bartender and we played our bingo cards then headed out afterwards. The smoking porch is very cozy! I really enjoyed the lit propane "fireplace" tables, and tv to keep up with the game, outside. Added a great cozy touch instead of just being outside in the cold. We will be back! read more

This is yet another great bar and grill in the springfield area. The food is definately better than your standard bar faire. I love thier mac and cheese topped with BBQ pork. The pasta is cooked just right. Most mac and cheese these days come with mushy ivercooked noodles, not here. They also do good steak bites here. I've only seen this entree up in the pacific north west but it seems to be everywhere. Pour houses version is worth ordering. There are 2 reasons rhis bar and grill get 4 and not 5 stars. First off thier side salad leaves alot to be desired. Its very small and not worth the price. I get side salads all the time to try to keep up on my veggies, and Pour House's is low on the list. The second reason is the staff. While the staff is very friendly, they spend too much time behind the bar and not enough on the floor. But even with those two flaws, I do like to eat here as the food is prepared very well. read more

This is the only bar that has denied me service while many other bars have happily accepted to serve me. Specifically this certain bartender I'm not sure what her name was but she clearly saw my face and date of birth and still refused to serve me because my id looked "fake". Also the food wasn't the best and the ambiance was that it was so loud I couldn't even hear the conversations at my table. read more

Something went terribly wrong. We have enjoyed the food here many times, it always being our "go to" place when we are not sure what we want, they have a varied tasty menu and it can always make for a happy belly. Tonight followed the same script as all the others... sit...decide on beer.. place food order and enjoy the wait. Somewhere in there the wheels fell off of our food bus. We sipped, we watched TV, we sipped, we watched others be seated...... but then their food began to arrive and our glasses were going dry. When we asked for our check and explained why we were just asked if we still wanted our food. Not tonight thanks we will just pay for the drinks and be on our way. Will we go back there? I've popped in off and over over the last 5 or so years. Since Covid the food portions are small, and lesser quality and their prices not balanced or fair. There is also a lack of low carb options on the menu. The burger patty tasted pre-frozen, they don't lettuce wrap burgers, and the side salad was less than a handful. The bartenders were distracted but had a smile. Service was very neutral, food was meh, and people wailing karaoke (who the hell even does karaoke on a Wednesday?) at least able to be ignored by sitting on the back patio. The new fire table toppers are definitely a lovely addition to help stay warm as the nights grow colder. read more

I really wanted to like this place because the server was so friendly and accommodating. I asked what ciders they had on tap, which were blackberry and pineapple. The server recommended that I try them mixed together. I did and it was awesome! The fried zuchinni sticks were delicious. They were crispy and hot and never got soggy. Everything else was okay. For dinner, we each got the prime rib special which came with the choice of soup or salad and a side. The loaded baked potato was great. However the prime rib was okay and the au jus was separated and greasy. Our server disappeared after our food came and a couple other servers came to check in on us but when we asked for a to go box, extra water and the check, we ended up waiting and waiting. Ultimately we had to ask our server again when she came back to check on us. All and all I would have rated them higher except that I woke up with extreme intestinal distress during the night after eating here, followed by stomach sensitivity the next day. Neither of which could be attributed to anything else I ate that day. I am skeptical to eat here again. read more

Just moved to Springfield from Eugene and this place is right around the corner from me so I decided to try it for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. I had the Monterey ckicken sandwich and it was delicious, my friend had the French dip and said it was the best he has had in a long time. Even the iced tea was great with a nice strong tea flavor! I will be going back and will highly recommend it to my family and friends. read more

The food is really good. Their Taco Monday Special is almost always outstanding. The Steak and Steak salads, Steak strips, are great. The only real negative I find here is the service. Again, the staff at these ' watering holes ' cater too much to those sitting at the bar if you're part of their click, then even us who come in regular, but not 3-4 x a week. We can sit for up to 10-15 minutes without being acknowledged. I'm never quite certain if we need to go to the bar and order or what. I usually end up going to the bar. I have a home and business just down the street so this is usually the go to place for after work bite to eat. I have never felt welcomed here unless one bartender who is always sweet and attentive, is on duty. I've had my place almost next door for 7 years, so it's not like I'm a stranger walking in, however even if I was ... it's service folks ! As a former bar owner, I feel this is theft of this owners profits when a staff of 3/4 can't greet and serve any person who comes in the spend money, with a welcoming and accommodating attitude. read more

My first time at this place, And I can tell immediately that the bartender has major attitude. How do I know? I sat down at the bar and asked the bartender if anybody was sitting in the place I was inquiring about because there's a coffee cup pushed to the side. "If there's a coffee cup there then somebody is sitting there!" She replied tersely. No hello. No welcome to the pour Haus. No how can I help you. No. No. No. The chef walked out from behind the kitchen and handed me a menu. Being new to the place, I wasn't really sure where else to sit... I usually sit at the bar... I finally sat down for a moment and what should happen? Two ladies walked in and sat down in the exact place in which I had just inquired about... This time the bartender at least greeted and served them. Seeing that she was the only server for the entire place- could tell that I wouldnt be getting served anytime soon. So I left. The place seemed clean and several people are there. I just can't stand servers with salty attitudes. read more

This place is a nice bar with really great breakfasts. Go on Saturday for a deal on a chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak is as big as the plate. Eat here a lot. I see a new crew. The blonde female server is the only one working. The server named Sage I think he said his name is. He is much more interested in visiting than working. Though a bit hokey, my husband and I really like this bar and grill. The bar food is FANTASTIC and there is a wide variety of food on the menu. They have karaoke a couple of nights a week and occasionally have live bands. We typically go there for the food, and to play video poker. There are also pool tables. Really, a wide variety of things to do! Oh, and if you're a NASCAR fan (which I am NOT) this is THE place to go to watch the races :-) Overall a good experience and great food! read more
