The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly. The food was a mixed bag. The garlic and parmesan wings were delicious--probably the best that I have had at a restaurant. My partner liked their burger, and the fries were really good. They were very similar to fresh McDonald's fries. The Caesar salad with chicken was okay. I prefer a dressing that is more creamy, and the chicken was pretty tough. That aside, the prices were good, and it was a great pit stop since it was not far from the freeway. In town & went with family. We had turkey sandwich, ham sandwich, sliders, Mac & cheese, wings, burger & fries, The kids all gave a thumbs up. Been here several times before finally making my review. Definetly a favorite in my book! The food is always so so good and well priced. I have yet to find something I don't like. I wish there were more by-the-glass options for wine but cocktails are good too. Everyone is always very nice when we come in. The bathroom is not my favorite that I've visited but I just make sure to go before. It would definetly be more comfortable if it were "spiffed up" for customer use. But I can't use that as justification to give fewer stars when the food and drink is so good. read more

This business is in a very interesting location, almost like a village of its own. It is like a small island of shops and residences. Not a lot of available street parking, but turn the corner and there is a parking lot nearby as well as an open gravel parking area. We walk in and hear a greeting called out. My first impression is that of a higher end bar with decent clientele, I guess I need to behave. Seating ourselves per the signage, we walk through the establishment and find a very suitable table for two. Lighting is not overly bright, but comfortable. There is a dark wood warmth in the atmosphere, starting to like the feel of this... Professional staff in uniform come to greet us, bring menus, cloth napkins with silverware and take drink requests. Service is very pleasant. I started with a cup of clam chowder. It was very good in its simplicity. It wasn't lacking anything important but also not over treated. The chowder is smooth and creamy. It is packed with clam and potatoes with a lighter amount of celery. It comes with a different kind of a firm cracker, excellent for dipping. Overall, it is a basic mild chowder, very satisfying in its simplicity. The All American Burger is wide and has awesome flavor! Hot with melted cheese, a buttery toasted bun, tomato lettuce and sliced onion to the side, this is definitely a two handed prospect, this meat at medium well is just delicious, very flavorful. The bun holds together very well! Did I say the flavor is fantastic? Again, delicious simplicity with a focus on taste. The fries were also done very well and are a generous portion. The fries are a bit larger than the shoestring variety. They are cooked well, lightly salted and came with some tasty fry sauce. The menu apparently changes frequently, so I dated my menu pic. As long as they keep the All American Burger, I'll come back for more. read more

$40 for a piece of mushy salmon my husband said tasted like cat food and so did I. Management decided we were chronic complainers cuz I went to bar to find my husband's missing cocktail. They didn't like that. Then got up to pay bill both server and Manager intimated we were "those people " who will never be satisfied. We'll Steer away from B2 Bar and Grill. Met some friends there last night. It was ok. I thought the atmosphere was nice. It was pretty packed. I had the American Burger. It was fine, but honestly, overpriced. Our waitress was sweet and announced at the start they were understaffed for the night. A Saturday night and the U of O Ducks played in town. 3 people of our party of 6 did not get something they ordered during the evening. I guess I have issues when a large gratuity is automatically added to the bill and then things like that occur. So pretty sure I won't be back. read more

One thing that we weren't so very pleased was that the server was not very attentive. She took so so long to check on our table, wasn't able to order our drinks when we wanted to. Charcuterie platter had some really nice cheeses, but they only gave us 5 or so crackers for the whole thing (seriously?). Had to ask for more crackers and still ran out. Cocktails were good. My only real complaint is that I felt like we were being rushed out at 930pm on a Friday. I was double checking their hours on my phone because it felt so odd (they're open until midnight). Plenty of other patrons still around, but servers were coming by to grab our napkins off the table, half wiping down our table while we were still eating and enjoying our drinks. The atmosphere when you enter is more on the moodier side, which I enjoy for a nice date night. The service when we went was a little slow it seemed like the server kinda forgot we were there, other staff brought us our items most of the night. I got a coconut martini that was to die for. The food was super good, the lobster Mac was delicious and their Brussels sprouts were really good as well! My husband got the Reuben sandwich and he enjoyed that. I will say i wasn't a huge fan of the lobster bisque it was a little bit on the sour side. But over all a good experience. read more

So we had to re-look at the menu and made a choice of Beet salad with hazelnuts and goat cheese (very good), lobster bisque (a little bit too much tomato and very very little lobster- more like a lobster-hint-bisque) and a BLAT sandwich. Bacon was good and crispy, lettuce is lettuce, avocado was overloaded on one side while nothing on the other as was the Mayo. The Brioche bread was ok but too thick for my taste. Their mac and cheese is the BEST I have ever had. I have not tried their alcoholic beverages personally, but my boyfriend has loved the ones he's tried. A Gin Mill Drove out of our way to enjoy this "Cocktail Bar", as it was promoted to be. Really enjoy a proper cocktail. It's located in a soulless, relatively recent new-urban housing development. Well staffed with attractive young women in revealing get-ups and abrupt, flippant attitudes. I guess it's cool to act like you're too best to engage guests even when business is quiet. Ordered a Woodford Old Fashioned expecting a proper cocktail. Bartender poured unmeasured components in a rocks glass, threw in a straw and served. Either she has No idea how to prepare a cocktail or no performance standards are expected here. If this is Eugene's version of a cocktail bar, I'd be surprised. It's a very average gin mill. If you can arrive with low expectations, those will be met. read more

Well, dang it, I really wanted to like the B2 Bar and Grill better than I did. The place could have had a little more of a welcoming feel to it, I think. The dinning area was swept up and clean, the waitress was nice enough, she was prompt, and kept a good eye on me, so no complaints with her at all. There wasn't any music playing, just a baseball game going on the tv behind the bar. I went for their All American burger, which was ok but nothing special. I do have to say that the fries were really good though, so that was a plus for them. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, the floor could have been swept a little better in there. It was stocked well enough and it did its job, so thats about it for that. Over all, needing new places to include on my "Favorites" list, the B2 Bar and Grill didn't make the cut for me. read more

Finally getting around to a review in B2. I was aiming to eat nearby at the sushi place, but tired of waiting outside for my name to be called and wandered over here instead. This place was also quite busy, but I was sat in just a few minutes. The service was great and the food was pretty good. I had the bleu cheese burger w/ bacon and chased it with a side of the Mac & cheese. I would absolutely have both again. The Mac was surprisingly good. Altogether the experience was great. We initially had plans to eat at another restaurant but the wait time was quoted as 45 minutes. As hungry as we were there was no way we could wait that long so we hopped over to B2. Best decision I've made in a long time! The fries are heavenly! I love salt and the fries are super salty so they rocked my world. The chicken sandwich was delicious with the perfect amount of aioli. My two dining partners had the American burger and the Bleu Cheese burger and they were both happy campers. You will not leave B2 disappointed! read more
