I met here with coworkers and didn't realize we had such a cool coffee shop here in Stockton. The interior is decorated nicely and there are tons of tables and seating available for groups to chat or work. The morning I went, there was a long line to get to coffee, but it did move relatively quickly. The coffee was good & so was the baked good I got. Service at the counter was good as well. He did without an issue, because no one bother to start it. As the on duty manager was refunding me. A staff member came from the back and lowly asked him if it was canceled. He turned and said yes. So maybe, they already cleaned the machine and don't want to use it, not sure. He did offer a free pastry, I had one on my order, but told him no, it was ok. Always make a point to withhold your money, if you aren't treated as a wanted customer. Everything is too high nowadays. And unfortunately, employees think, their bosses pay them, regardless of money coming through the business. Also, after the previous manager, the food quality has gone way down. When I stopped by to pickup my order, there was an employee cleaning the outside patio who immediately stopped what she was doing to open the door for me, went inside and washed her hands before even handing me the bag.
