We were traveling along route 98 in Navarre on our way to Panama City Beach when hunger struck. We lucked at discovering Buh's and meeting the owner and family to learn the history and art of barbecuing along with the spices, sides and dessert varieties! The dry rub brisket was excellent and the turkey was tender and moist - add the sauces and you are in heaven. Wrap it up with the homemade chocolate cake and key lime tart and you'll definitely come back for more. I ordered the pork belly burnt ends and half chicken plate with sweet potato fries and. Ole slaw. Only thing I liked was the Cole slaw (mayo based). The burnt ends were clearly old and then fried making them tough. The chicken was definitely old as well most likely kept warm with a hot water tray. It looked questionable when the set the plate in front of me. Our server was skittish and timid. Something was wrong with her I hope she's ok. My daughter got the ribs and they were wet and the fat was not cooked down enough. Dad got the brisket he saw there was no smoke ring and also mentioned it was flavorless. We came here for lunch today with high hopes because we just moved here from South Carolina, and it didn't disappoint! The young woman working was super nice and friendly. The food was tasty! Where do I begin...So excited to have found this amazing BBQ family owned establishment. When we were greeted by friendly and welcoming faces they all made us feel like one of the family. Bringing out samples of food to try didn't make my choice any easier so I got the platter of three meats and two sides. and I had ribs, chicken and pulled pork. My husband wanted the pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese. Everything was spot on! I just loved the cobbler with ice cream and the key lime tart was perfect! Birthday Girl had brisket and was very pleased. I had pulled pork, and it was worth every bite. Two nice BBQ sauces to accompany; one sweet and one with a nice little bite. Also tried the Cole Slaw Vinaigrette, which was a very nice changed from the mayo or creamy varieties; just a touch of sweetness under the vinegar, fresh and crunchy. I've lived in Navarre for almost 4 years and never went to Buh's because most BBQ joints outside of Texas and Memphis are always subpar to me. I lived In Texas for 26 years and had access to some of the world's best BBQ such as Franklins and Terry Blacks. Buh's BBQ is more Memphis style, however it is very good. Took my wife here on a whim for their happy hour specials. The owner came out and greeted us and explained how he makes the meat and sauces. His wife also makes the desserts, so it's a true family business. He was very friendly and gave us some brisket samples. We ended up ordering one of the meat feasts which included sliced brisket, pulled pork, spare ribs, half chicken, sausage and 2 sides. It was more than enough meat to feed a family of 5 for only $42!! We got the potato salad and fried okra. The okra was the best fried okra I've ever had, and my wife said the same thing. Hot, fresh, crispy, and well seasoned! All of the meat was tender and juicy, nothing was dry or bland. The BBQ sauces are also really good, my favorite being the topping sauce which isn't overly sweet like most sauces. Their vinegar sauce was also on point, and I am not a big vinegar on BBQ fan. We got a key lime tart that was also delicious! I'm sad that we didn't give this place a shot sooner, but we will definitely become regulars! read more

Met the owner Buh and his son at a wedding reception as they were there personally to handle the catering. The food was all placed on chafing (food warmer) trays. I was a little skeptical about BBQ at a wedding but it was actually the best and most memorable wedding food that I have ever experienced. My brain was saying get more cuz it's sooooo good, but my stomach said no more. The brisket was spot on, there was BBQ chicken and baked beans but I went straight for the meat (brisket), potato, dinner roll, and their award winning BBQ sauce which I mixed on Buh's recommendation (spicy plus sweet).
