Zero stars. We were in the fluff line with our bears and the manager, Asia, was rudely telling everyone to stand inches one way or two steps this way. The gentleman behind us asked why and the manager started in with an attitude saying she told us to move and that's that. We asked the manager if she could tone it down because there was kids in the store. She starting yelling at us. The cashier comes running out from behind the counter ywaving her hand in the air, yelling "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY STORE OR ILL BEAT ALL YOUR ASSES".. They proceed to get security and sheriffs to kick us out. They kicked out 4-5 groups of families and the manager thought it was so funny. We had three kids with us who are now crying and traumatized because the manager of the store has no clue how to be professional or to de-escalate a situation. We come here every year for birthday bears and will never return. read more

I came in here expecting to find male strippers because I thought the sign said Build LaBare, and boy, was I disappointed! But it was a very adorable disappointment. They have lots of different teddy bears and some other animals that are made to order. It's nice that you can decide how much stuffing you want in a toy. The bears are really cute. They have a wide selection of clothes and accessories to outfit your freshly stuffed toy, and these are very expensive. The staff was friendly and helpful. read more

It's ok that the store is busy. I get it but 2 have 7 employees staffed and only 1 person working the stuffing machine is wrong. There was a 30 minute wait outside the door then a 1hr wait inside. Seriously, someone else could have stuffed! Do better Build-A-Bear staff! read more

Due to covid there is no seating in the mall. They had the one seat taped off in the workshop. My mom has a heart condition and was made to sit on the floor. When they finally noticed they just asked if she fell and then basically didn't care. All they cared about is if they are going to be liable. This build a bear was so wonderful. We had great service my kids both got a stuffed animal and some accessories. The employees were very interactive with them and made everything really playful and hands on we couldn't have asked for better. Only issue was when we got home we realized the hairdryer was defective. It's a far drive so I emailed guest services and they sent one to our home free of charge! We will be back! read more

So I ordered some bears from them. And I received my order fast. But they didn't send me my whole order and one of the bears wasn't even finished being sewed. There was about a 6" seam in the back that was left unfinished. And when I called the store. They told me to call the customer service which I did. And was on hold for a half an hour. And when I told them I had two issues with my order they took care of one of them then just hung up on me. So their service turned me off of them. I'm not going back to them. read more

So, I think that we lucked out when we tried this place for the first time because it was completely dead. The customer service was great and they were so awesome about explaining everything to us and how it all works. My only complaint would be that the bear itself is not too expensive but the accessories I think are awfully expensive considering what they are. At the end of the day, my two year old loved it so we will be going back for sure! read more

Great selection and worth the cost. This Build a bear is somewhat unique because it has touch screens and more interactive. Most stores do not have this technology! Be sure to come in with a budget because each item is individually priced. The staff are super helpful and always offer to help, don't be afraid to take it! If the store isn't too busy the staff will take extra time to make your experience special, and they will even help you get the animal dressed up! read more

Just wanted to post about the fiasco July 12,2018. That was the biggest mess ever and while the CEO making an apology was cute the 15 dollar coupon was not enough. I don't know what the marketing team was thinking but surely you were smart enough to realize the response you would have when having a pay your age event. It is assured a parent is going to pay on average 25 dollars at your store. You went to the trouble of having people sign up online and join the birthday club to expedite checkout. How easy it would have been to assign times for customers to come to the store to build and buy their bears. I did use the 15 dollar coupon as my nephew likes the Paw patrol. We were planning to build 3 of the characters from the show that day but to my surprise the store only had 2 of the actual dogs despite advertising they are licensed to sell the line. I was told I could travel to the other locations to see if they had some of the other dogs. Hmm I think not. I checked online because after all I sort of understand not carrying the full line in the store if they are not selling. To my surprise they also do not have the full line on the website. I sent an email concerning this as well as voicing my displeasure over July 12 and of course I never received a response. Prior to that I had planned to return to the store to build another dog with my nephew as he has a birthday in September only to be told the pay your age only applies to the birthday bear which I do not like and do not want. So let me say while the staff at the actual store were incredibly nice and very friendly I have to base this rating on the corporate office and lack of customer service by the corporate office. So Chase will be the only Paw patroller in my house if I have to use build a bear. read more
