Tons of fun! But, it was clear that we were not going anywhere without at least a pump for our tire, which we had just left at home (sure we wouldn't have needed it). We saw a few gentleman working hard on the upkeep of their beautiful farm, getting the land ready for some fall fun including a maze, slides, and so much more. When one of our troop went to find help, the most generous gentleman came to our rescue and offered to help immediately. He took on the car while offering us a stay with the many sweet animals of the farm: baby bunnies, loving pigs, and joyous chickens. He even brought in another gentleman, and another. They informed us that the car would need a change of tire, and completed the process for us. They stopped , what I'm sure was a grieving workday in the sun, to help us get safely back on the road, even giving us directions to the nearest tire shop to pick up some more tires. These men are who make humanity so great! So, if you're looking for some family fun this fall, I hope you choose Bowles Farm, and that you get to patronize the lovely people who made our day!

They take cash only for concessions however, take credit cards for admission. The hot apple cider is great as are the cupcakes and sweets in the shop. There are real restrooms in the barn area and portable restrooms throughout. There was also cool Halloween decorated Jeeps at the parking lot for those wanting to show off their Jeeps. Definitely recommend a visit when it's back open next year.

The kids seemed fine, but as an adult, it was noticeable. What really pushed me to write this review was how the end of the party was handled. The owner/teacher told the birthday child's mom ...in front of guests...that the party time was over and that the kids needed to take their food to go because she had only paid for a set amount of time. You could tell the mom was embarrassed and trying to keep it low-key, but it felt unnecessary and unprofessional to handle it that way during a child's birthday party. If you're looking for a warm, friendly environment with some flexibility and good customer service, this isn't it. I won't be returning.

I honestly don't understand their business model anymore. The food used to be excellent -- they had a cook who clearly cared about what came out of the kitchen. Now? They fired him and replaced him with people who can't even make a proper grilled cheese. I've ordered it a few times, and it's been different (and wrong) every single time. One time the bread was just toasted with a single slice of cheese stuck in the middle. Another time they browned the bread on the grill and shoved four slices of cheese inside. A grilled cheese is simple: butter one side of two slices of bread, add one or two slices of cheese, and grill until golden brown. That's it. Someone please teach the kitchen staff the basics. The one bright spot is Jerome, the bartender -- he's the only reason this place didn't get a 1-star review. He make a really good cocktail and know what everyone likes to drink. This business needs an owner who treats it like their pride and joy, not something run on autopilot. Hopefully one day things will change, because right now the decline is impossible to ignore

Online the hours for the escape room said 10am-11pm, but there were no specific time slots to reserve (first come, first serve). Based on the hours listed, we arrived at 11am. No one was at the booth at 11am, although it was set up, so we assumed that they were on a break to grab food or in the restroom and had taken all of the cash register items with them. We decided to go on a couple rides and came back to the booth around 11:30 and it was still untouched. We called the number listed on the trailers 3 times before finally getting someone to answer. We were told that the booth hours were actually 12/12:30 for the opening time (??) but someone would be "right over to help us". We waited another hour (past the 12:30 time originally stated) and no one showed up to work the booth. We tried calling again and no one answered the number listed. I'm not sure if the person that was supposed to work that day just up and quit, but there needed to be better communication if that was the case, versus someone ignoring our phone calls and the booth never opening.
