I replied that I would probably return early the next morning. By one o'clock, I received a voicemail that my door was ready for pickup. I went over an hour later and got it. Very impressed with the service. I chose the SunTex? material, I believe it's called, to reduce the rays by 80%. I was expecting to pay at least $100. Price was $60 and change. The man on the phone told me he did, so I got there in time to buy it. When I got there, he opened the package further (as it was already opened) to compare the two- and he said it would work. It didn't. I went back to the store and told the owner that the one he sold me was incorrect. When I asked for a refund, he stated that "there was a part missing from the top." It was not missing anything. The model he sold me was slightly smaller in length and was the incorrect part number according to Lowe's (which did sell me the correct part). I told him it wasn't missing any parts, but he called me a liar. He saw the item was new and unused, proving him wrong. When that didn't work, he said he won't refund it because the package was opened. It was... by him. I watched him open it. He called me a liar again. I went to my bank and disputed the charges- and was told I'd be issued a refund, and Granada Hills Hardware will have the charges reversed. Nobody likes to be called a liar. It could've been real easy, but your pride got in the way when you didn't like to be proven wrong. Now, I get to keep the cartridge, and a refund of $59.12 through my bank... and you get to keep a 1 star yelp review. Was it worth it?
