He did a demonstration on the different materials and that helped up decide. Once we got the quote and committed, him and his team literally started in a Weds, worked through, and finished on Sunday, this included pulling out all the carpet, installing the flooring, and the quarter rounds and painting. They put furniture movers in everything to not scratch the flooring, and put things back. Overall, the cost was reasonable and within what we expected! The only minor negative thing was that the people here working on the day to day had a language barrier. Luckily, I do speak the language, but my husband could not communicate. Installed in 2022, still unresolved four years later…read more We hired Budget Flooring for a vinyl install in 2022 and ran into problems almost right away: uneven subfloor, boards clicking underfoot, cracked vinyl at a stair landing, a bullnose that wasn't properly glued, and a first floor that felt warped throughout. We documented everything with photos and sent it to Anthony early on. What followed was a long, frustrating cycle of chasing him down for any kind of response: - Getting him to simply schedule an inspection took weeks and multiple follow-ups. - He then disappeared for a stretch, with no updates for months. - We had a baby on the way and asked repeatedly to get this resolved beforehand. It wasn't. - Eventually an inspector came out and looked at the floor. - After that, Anthony told us the manufacturer was blaming "moisture in the entire unit" for the failures -- which never made sense given the specific, localized issues we'd flagged from the start. He said he was fighting to get us new material and a full first-floor replacement. - Then, silence again. Follow-up emails went unanswered. - After a long period with no response at all, we reached out one more time. Early on, his own words to us were "don't worry, I'm not going to disappear." He did. It's now 2026 -- four years after the original install -- and we still have a defective floor and no resolution. No material, no callback, nothing. If you're considering Budget Flooring, the sales and install is the easy part; getting them to actually stand behind a warranty claim is another story. Sergio Rosas was hired to provide an independent review of the flooring we had installed so we…read morecould pursue and enforce the warranty for faulty flooring materials. The inspection was performed on 11/18/2025. During the inspection, Mr. Rosas informed us verbally of many areas in the house where the floor was lifting. This was in addition to the worst areas that we were initially unhappy with. He took many pictures. For some reason, Mr. Rosas's final report was delayed, and my flooring contractor had to follow up multiple times. We received the report 12/20/2025. The report we received addressed one of the two worst areas and made no mention of the many other problems he discovered and informed us about. In fact, there are pictures of faulty flooring areas, but the report makes no comment. One of the most obvious and egregious areas of couplings was not even included at all. On 12/31/2025, I emailed Mr. Rosas regarding discrepancies and omissions in the inspection report. I told him we needed accurate reporting to enforce the flooring warranty and asked that he resubmit a more thorough report, as that is what he was paid for. To date, Mr. Rosas has not responded. Considering adding a complaint with the BBB. Sergio Rosas's lack of business ethics should be considered before doing any business with this company.
