This might be one of the most underrated supply stores in OKC. The folks working there were on the ball. They were helpful without being pushy. No upselling which I fully appreciate. The store was clean, organized, and omfg the bathrooms are nice. We will definitely be going back for all our other builder supplies. Everything was priced well, too. They had free samples for most materials. Lots of well put together displays. To speak on how helpful they were. They stopped us before we left the store with the wrong item. We had picked out some counter tops from their discount room for our kitchen. Before we left, someone asked if we realized we'd picked out vanity counter top not kitchen counter tops. We didn't! They let us return them right there without question. We so appreciated that. Other stores wouldn't have alerted us and would have given us a hassle about returning them. read more

Builders Warehouse has great prices and awesome customer service. We bought a vanity on sale and they drilled extra holes for free and made sure it was 8-inch versus the 4-inch hole set. Santos, the owner, was helpful and personable. It's at 10th and Rockwell. Check them out! read more

Sept 1 2023 update my credit card found in my favor with all the evidence I presented including pictures of the freshly unwrapped sill being broken and they credited me back the entire sill charged by builders warehouse, I hope the manager Santos is good the way he handled this customer because I will not be back. We may not shop there weekly or monthly BECAUSE WE ONLY SHOP THERE FOR OUR HOME, Santos thinks we are contractors and we are not however we have spent thousands of dollars there over the years and have always considered builders warehouse until dealing with rude Santos. He has no business dealing with customers, he's a total narcissist and loves gaslighting. read more

They came and measure the kitchen and both bathroom and gave us a quote and an install date that was only 10 days away. They installed the granite countertops and 5 sinks. I came very very close to not buying my shower door from Builders Warehouse because of some of the bad reviews. I decided to take the risk because they were way more reasonable then the box stores and their turn around time for install was fast. I am so happy I did! We ended up doing the entire transaction over the phone since we live about 50 miles away. Everything was handle professionally. Communication was amazing and Louie who did the delivery and install was really awesome. He knew what he was doing, took his time, and the cost was extremely reasonable. We love the door and will definitely continue to use Builders Warehouse for future remodel projects. read more

Several customer service issues which is why I will never go back: 1. Cellphone reception there is horrible. I use google docs for my renovation notes and could not access it. They have 2 WiFi lines but would not let me use either. 2. No returns or exchanges accepted for any reason. This is my first time doing barn doors so I did not know they need to be sized larger than the opening, so that is my fault. I'll pay for my mistake and buy 2 more brand new and bigger doors. 3. When I went back to purchase larger barn doors, they would not thread it for me. They want to charge me extra for threading because I did not purchase the sliding kit from them. I informed them that I did purchase 2 barn door kits from them but needed larger doors. They would not work with me or budge. Moral of the story is, they will not work with you for any reason. In the end, I still end up going to Home Depot or Lowe's. Cheaper, better customer service and allows returns of un-used items. The misconception that many has is that this place is cheaper than Home Depot or Lowe's. DO NOT fall for that. Only a few items are cheaper, the rest, either same price or more expensive. Be sure to price shop each individual item if you purchase there. Or just save some time and go with larger companies that are more forthcoming. read more

Been shopping here for years. We've completed two home remodels relying on Builders Warehouse for much of the improvements. The selection is very good and the prices are often the best you can find. We've bought everything from door to cheap bathroom tiles to expensive wood look tile to fixtures and even a $1,000 free standing bathroom counter with sink. This isn't some high end decorator's store where people are going to wait on you hand and foot. This is a blue collar, come and get it kinda place with friendly staff. Pretty unfortunate that they treat their customers the way they do. A lot of their material actually costs more than Home Depot or Lowe's. They gave me the wrong grout and the wrong mortar for the job that I was specific about doing. And then... I wasn't allowed to return it. I will not be returning and I wouldn't recommend it to others. read more

Hired them to put in a granite countertop. We had scheduling problems it took them almost 3 months to do the job then they measured the granite wrong had to leave it that way for 3 days before returning . no sink or running water during that time . When they returned with the new countertop they tore up my new cabinets tore my linoleum scratched my recently textured and painted walls. I would not hire these people for anything. I can see how a bunch of DIYers would give a poor rating. They don't have a bunch of people following them around, giving advice and offering "trade secrets". This is a no frills place to go in and see if you can save some money on what you're looking for. The prices are cheap for a reason, people. I'd tell you to go to Lowes, but there's not much help there either. The customer service I received was more than adequate. read more

Would never recommend Builders Warehouse. Their staff recommended First Choice Restoration/Saul Barragun to remodel my bathrooms. They were terrible, they took 12 days to do the 5-7 day job, they laid the wrong tile in the bathroom, cut the light switches too large, leaving a gaping hole after the switchplate cover was put on. They got paint all over the tile and light fixtures and trim. I got absolutely nothing that was agreed on in the contract. read more

I picked tile, my installer had given me a sq ft to buy, the sales staff up sold, telling me always buy more, for waste.... My installer had already figured for waste, the sales staff told me no worries if you get to much you can always bring it back...... well today the guy at the desk rudely informed me that all sales are final, no refunds.... and there are camera's that show me signing the sales receipt with that disclaimer at the bottom.... So I bought 8 extra boxes of tile..... they finally gave me store credit, but I'm not sure I will ever go back to this place. Really miss leading. Sales team tells you what ever, to sell more product. read more

Hard to rate, they have some nice stuff but the customer care really lacking. So you pick out what you want, find someone texting on his phone and wait till he decided to take your money. You give them a few hundred bucks and they give you a map to their warehouse a few miles away. Finding that you find the office and are sent to loading dock number whatever where you wait 15 minutes and nobody shows up. Then you go back to the office where you find out they forgot about you and finally some kid brings your stuff to the dock where you have to load it yourself. At this point my only question is why did I give them 2 stars, used to be much better. read more

We searched multiple different cities trying to find the cabinets we wanted and we finally did here. They were perfect, exactly as we had imagined! The staff was extremely helpful in sitting down with us, creating a plan and mapping out which pieces we would need. We placed our order on February 20, 2019. We were told they had all of our pieces except one, it was on backorder but should be in on a truck the first part of March. After multiple phone calls, talking to different people, some who had no idea (we think they sold our piece because they didn't mark it as sold already), we are still waiting....one single piece and we now can not finish our kitchen remodel. It's now April 1 and we were told again today, no one knows when our piece will be in. So, bottom line, if you have a deadline, don't buy from here. If you can wait indefinitely, then spend away. read more

We have purchased tile, other flooring, and bathroom counter/cabinets in the past and had really good luck with them. I installed all of this myself. However, this time we chose to buy new granite counter tops for our kitchen. The service provided by the staff was great, he helped however he could. When it came time to install is when we had issues. The work was supposed to be done in two days, First day to rip out old counter top and get good measurements of cabinet so granite could be cut. Then a few days later the granite would be installed. During install they broke one of the pieces and were supposed to come back that evening to install. Long story short, 4 days later they returned to install. We were not able to use our kitchen for over a week because of this. However, this is not the biggest issue. When they installed the counter across the sink they told us the only way to do it was to use two pieces because one piece would be too large. The seam of the granite is just off center on our sink and the seam line is about 3/16 of an inch. It is like a black scar across our otherwise beautiful counter. The manager of the install team says it looks fine, and that is the about the best they can do. If this is their best then you should look somewhere else for your own cabinet install. We paid a great deal of money for this and expect high quality work. When I asked if we could get a discount due to the look he said he was not sure about that, but that he did feel badly about the time it took to do the install so he is giving a discount that works out to about 6%. We are not pleased with this. How does 6% make you feel better about something you are going to have to look at everyday. Buyer beware. read more

i went there to buy some granite counter tops i found three that would do but i had to wait on the installer to come make sure that they would work. they were supposed to be on hold till he came i was there at 230 or three in the afternoon on monday i talked to the installer today wednesday and they sold the tops that were on hold for me monday after i left. a very poor way to do bussiness i didnt pay for them while i was there because i dont think it wise to spend a thousand dollars on something you cant return. but i was assured that they would hold them until the installer verifyed they would work for me . i will find a place that can be trusted to keep there word to spend my money. evidently the left hand dont know what the right hand is doing at builders warehouse dwc edmond ok read more
