WHAT A GEM! Absolutely authentic Chinese cuisine; my boyfriend kept telling our server how delicious everything was. Our server was efficient and accommodating and the service was fast. It's a no frills establishment that definitely prides itself on the quality of the food they are serving. Will be coming back for more noodles and dumplings! The scallion pancakes were delicious!

After a 15 min wait my wife and mother ordered their food and appetizers.when it was my turn to order they didn't have anything, no chicken no dumplings.Service was terrible and I wouldn't recommend.

Came here for lunch on a weekday hungry for some noodles. My mom and I shared the vegetable dumplings which were the absolute star of the show. Delicious and fresh, chewy and tasty. Great dipping sauce too. The soups were a little more subpar. The broth was just ok for me, not too flavorful. The noodles honestly just tasted like spaghetti. Not a chew to them or a texture you'd normally find in a soup. I definitely recommend this spot for the dumplings. The only other thing that was unsettling while eating were the ants around the store. I mean it's probably not the restaurant's fault but it's just not what you wanna see while dining in. Service was friendly and street parking is easy to find.

Came here with my son after baseball. Food was very good. If you like spicy, I would recommend the beef noodle soup. It was delicious with a kick. Noodles was perfectly cook. My son ordered the shrimp wonton noodle soup, which was also delicious. If you are looking for a quick bite. I would def recommend nana noodle house. Service was friendly and quick which was a plus.

I stopped by for lunch on Friday and I was the only guest the entire time I dined there. They did have several to-go orders. I did enjoy the fried popcorn chicken as an appetizer. The batter is packed with flavor of 5-spice and it was super crispy while still juicy inside. I love that there's plenty of options to accessorize the noodle soup. I added the soy-boiled eggs and a side of veggies with my spicy pork noodle soup. FYI - the soup for the beef and the pork noodles is the same base. The broth is addicting as it's fill of meaty bone flavors. It's a simple, low key casual dining spot.

Good environment and friendly service! I love their noodles! So delicious! I ordered curry chicken noodle, recommend for this!!

The food here was great and service was smooth, kind, and overall very good. The ambiance of the place was also great.

Noodles here are huge portion and delicious. We ordered the curry chicken and beef noodle soup noodle.

Very delicious food here. Come and try it. The noodles are good.

Omg, this place treated us so nicely. Not only that but the food was spot on. Another thing to consider is the cozy warm setting.

The flavor is overwhelmed by MSG, and the noodles lack chewiness--more like instant noodles than handmade.

This unexpected combo actually works so well! *Taro French Toast with Boba $16.5 ** If this is your first time here, ORDER THE FRENCH TOAST. I literally get it every time--the milk tea French toast is perfectly brûléed and topped with taro paste, boba, whipped cream, and salted egg yolk bits. I love that their lu rou fan comes with a soft-boiled ramen egg instead of a hard boiled one, and the pickled mustard greens on the side are my favorite part. *Taiwanese Milk Crumb Toast $5 New item! We tried this test version of 奶酥吐司, and it was lowkey addictive. The bread pulled apart just like shokupan. So soft and fluffy.

Slowly making my way through Jersey's Thai restaurants and seeing which ones stand out... Up next…read moreon my list was Topaz Thai in Belleville, a business that's been sitting in my Yelp collections for awhile. With plenty of positive reviews, I was excited to give it a try! This family-owned biz is on Washington Ave. Parking can be a little annoying since it's a busy street with metered spaces, but there's a small paid lot next door with a limited number of spots. I stopped by on a Saturday evening and was seated right away. The place felt cozy and casual with the charm of a mom-and-pop restaurant. The menu is full of Thai classics, and the lunch specials seem like a great value. Prices are reasonable too, with most entrees under $20. Whenever I try a new Thai spot, I like to get a few staple dishes that I've ordered countless times before. Consider it my unofficial Litmus test! I went with: *Mama Loaded Thai Tacos $11.95 [crispy shells topped with ground chicken, herbs, cilantro, nuts, ginger, and lemon] - Loaded is definitely the right word here. These crispy shells were packed to the brim with flavorful, well-seasoned ground chicken and toppings in every bite. They also served it with a bottle of their EXTRA spicy Thai chili sauce-and trust me, it lives up to its name. Just a few drops had my tongue on fire! They're not traditional tacos, but I liked the Thai-inspired twist on them. The unique flavors were a delicious start to the meal. *Chicken Rama Curry with side of Jasmine rice $16.95 [coconut milk, red curry paste, roasted peanuts, tamarind paste, and fish sauce topped with chicken & mixed vegetables] - The winning dish! The curry was so rich, creamy, and nutty. It was so good that I was tempted to pick up the bowl and drink every last drop LOL. The spice level started off mild, but the heat slowly built up after a few spoonfuls. *Chicken Pad Thai $15.95 [stir-fried thin noodles with egg, peanuts, scallion, bean sprouts, and tamarind sauce] - You can't skip Thailand's national dish! The noodles were perfectly cooked, and they didn't skimp on the protein. I got PLENTY of tender chicken in every bite. The only thing holding it back from being a 5/5 for me was the sauce. Pad thai is known for its balance of savory, sweet, tangy, and nutty flavors, and this was a little TOO sweet for me. The sugar overpowered the other flavors. I wish they had given me a lime wedge to brighten things up. Still, I enjoyed the dish overall and can see it being a hit for anyone who prefers a sweeter pad thai. *Mango Sticky Rice $12.95 [coconut sticky rice with fresh mango and coconut cream] - It's mango season, baby, so there's no way I was leaving without ordering this! The rice was warm, lightly sweet, and infused with a creamy coconut flavor. Absolutely loved the sticky and chewy texture. The mango was more sour/tart than sweet. A riper mango would've made this dessert even better, but this was still the perfect ending to a meal. As for the portion sizes? No complaints. I had leftovers to take home and still felt satisfied. The service was on point! Everyone was kind and attentive. The food came out quickly, so there really wasn't much waiting around. Topaz Thai, you made a strong first impression! Between the homey atmosphere, solid food, reasonable prices, great value, and friendly service, this spot easily earned a second visit. I'm excited to come back and try more menu items!

The cuisine takes the perfect blend of spicy, acidic, sweet, and aromatic to form bold and dynamic flavors. Located right between Belleville Park and the Passaic River on a busy Washington Avenue, Topaz Thai is a beloved family-owned/family-run BYOB establishment known for its Thai cuisine. Upon entering as a first-timer, I was greeted by the owner's wife, Bankie, and led to a table by the window inside a cozy, warm, and welcoming dining area with minimal traditional Thai decor. I decided on the Pad Thai () with fried tofu accompanied by Thai iced tea (). The food was incredibly flavorful and fresh, using the best ingredients, resulting in the perfect balance of spices. Every dish is thoughtfully executed and prepared to provide an authentic taste. The tofu was perfectly cooked. Portion size was just right. The staff was warm, welcoming, and very attentive, which made the whole dining experience even better. Since I had the entire place to myself, I had the honor to speak with the cook/owner, Narit. Over the years, it has become a go-to spot for both locals and visitors seeking a genuine taste of Thailand.

Maki Leche de Tigre: wish I could tell you about it, but it never came. I eventually asked them to cancel it. The issue isn't the food. There was one server for the entire packed restaurant. This poor girl was seating guests, taking orders, missing tables, bringing food out, and ringing everyone up. She was very sweet and clearly doing her best, but it's far too much for one person. We were there for two hours, during which we saw many frustrated customers. Several Uber and DoorDash drivers waited long periods to pick up orders, which seemed to come out just as slowly as those for dine-in guests. Like every other customer I observed, once we finished our food we walked to the back to ask for our check so we could leave, since we had already been there so long. This place has only been open about five weeks (Clifton location), so my hope is that they improve as they go specifically by adding more staff. There's great potential here. I should also mention that most Peruvian restaurants automatically include gratuity on the check.
