We called ahead because we were a large group so when we arrived the table was already set up with water/tea, menus and everything which was great! We weren't really addressed when we came in, the staff seemed to be hiding lol (given their fun social media videos it was a little confusing) We sat and waited for the rest of our party, figured to order some apps while we waited but since no one ever came to us, we ordered at the counter. Once we had everyone, we still weren't really addressed we kinda had to keep calling someone over to take our orders that ended up being taken in pieces. The dumplings and wontons were great. Chili oil and dips were good although soy sauce came in packets? Scallion pancakes were crispy and thin. The beef one tasted almost like peaking duck which was great. All the noodle bowls we got were very flavorful although I wish my seafood one had more actual seafood. It was a lot of noodles and a couple pieces of meat. I asked the server if they could make a small bowl for my daughter with just some shrimp and they did which was very nice of them. Desserts we got were cut up for us so they were easy to share. The fried mochi was chewy and fluffy but not much flavor but a black sesame type powder was with it to dip. Needed that for sure! The coconut balls were better. Inside was like a piña colada and outside was crispy. I just wish the service was a little better? We kept having to call someone over to take our orders or to take finished plates away. The restaurant is pretty outdated, it feels like you are having dinner at your towns rec center. The service was awkward, we were the only party in the restaurant but had to walk up to the counter area to put orders in. THAT is what I expect when people say a dish has chili oil in it. We also had the hawthorn drink. Paired very well with the noodles. I'm for sure going back. I was gonna do 4 stars because the soups could have used more meat buuuuut then they would charge more and I definitely like the prices. I've seen this spot pop-up on my IG feed for a while, and had it bookmarked for a loooong time --- well I finally popped-up to this GEM! Entering Nana's, I already had a game-plan: definitively getting the Beef Scallion Pancake, the Wontons in Chili Oil, and the MVP --- the Braised Beef Noodle Soup (It's literally called NOODLE HOUSE). First off, the restaurant in SPACIOUS! It is clean, and all menus are already on the tables for convenience. 1. Beef Scallion Pancake - This was DELICIOUS! The scallion pancakes are filled with tender pieces of beef, cucumber, and a nice sweet sauce. All those different textures work together beautifully. 2. Wontons in Chili Oil - If you have something spicy, I probably will order it! This was amazing. The wontons had the perfect texture, and they were swimming in Nana's Chili Oil. I slurped all the wontons in about 5 minutes. They were that comforting! 3. Braised Beef Noodle Soup - Today's temp went from 92 yesterday, to 59 today. Today was a perfect soup day --- and this was the perfect soup. The soup was rich and intense with that beef flavor, the noodles soaked up all that good flavor, the Bok choy did their THANG, and the beef was so tender in the soup. Absolutely slayed. 12/10. (*Nana heard I liked spicy, she even brought me out chopped chiles! Yay! That elevated the spice *for me* to the perfect level!) Small shop with excellent food. Walked and was directed to sit anywhere. It was lunch time and a little slow. Nana's popped up on my IG feed, and the posts are very entertaining, so I had to check it out. I ordered the DanDan noodles and dumplings in a chili sauce. Nana recommended the dumplings and they did not disappoint! Just the right amount of spice. Before I could finish the dumplings the DanDan Noodles came out. Great flavor and the right amount of spice. Down side is parking. I'm not local so parking could take a little time and a walk. Definitely worth the effort! Nana's is my new favorite noodle shop. We found a parking spot right in front of the location, although we walked into an empty restaurant, they were still busy with to go orders. We ourselves ordered food to go, the service was quick and friendly. The restaurant looks like an average takeout spot inside, with plentiful seating. We ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup and Wontons in Chili Oil, for me the soup was about a 5/10, for him 7/10. The wontons in chili oil were delicious 10/10. Came here for lunch on a weekday hungry for some noodles. My mom and I shared the vegetable dumplings which were the absolute star of the show. Delicious and fresh, chewy and tasty. Great dipping sauce too. The soups were a little more subpar. The broth was just ok for me, not too flavorful. The noodles honestly just tasted like spaghetti. Not a chew to them or a texture you'd normally find in a soup. I definitely recommend this spot for the dumplings. The only other thing that was unsettling while eating were the ants around the store. I mean it's probably not the restaurant's fault but it's just not what you wanna see while dining in. I stopped by for lunch on Friday and I was the only guest the entire time I dined there. They did have several to-go orders. I did enjoy the fried popcorn chicken as an appetizer. The batter is packed with flavor of 5-spice and it was super crispy while still juicy inside. I love that there's plenty of options to accessorize the noodle soup. I added the soy-boiled eggs and a side of veggies with my spicy pork noodle soup. FYI - the soup for the beef and the pork noodles is the same base. This used to be Lucky Foo noodle restaurant. Nana serves delicious noodles and wontons in a clean, comfortable setting with great service. They hand-make their pork wontons and dumplings and its delicious! The skin of the wonton was super thin and silky. Noodles seem to be hand-made too and it shows - it has a nice chew and is perfectly cooked. You can also order add extra noodles for $1.95. If you dine-in, you can enjoy your food with free jar of hot tea. My only complaint is the soups has MSG. However, I'd still be back. read more

I haven't been back since they changed the name. I came in today and had their beef noodle soup and scallion pancake. The scallion pancake were pretty thin and I would say pretty good better than average but can't compete with Taiwanese moms cooking! The broth in the beef noodle soup was pretty watery and not a lot of flavor. They give a lot of noodles. In a pinch I would come back but if you cook Taiwanese food at home stick with that! read more
