It cost me $6 for 400 grams. They have a small selection of whole foods and bulk foods. They also carry homeopathic remedies. I didn't feel the service here was the most helpful ever and since they don't carry my favorite vitamins, there are other health food stores I would rather go to.

Racial Profiling - plain clothed security…read more Went in to the 10th avenue store to look for supplements to help with my joint pain. Went to the supplement area looking for help, no one was there for ~5 minutes so I walked around till a staff member appeared and I asked for help. During that time, a plain clothed security follow me and watched me as I looked for products. Even when I was talking to a staff member, he followed us around and stared at me. After I decided on the product, I mentioned to the staff that it was very rude what the plain clothed security did to me. She said she noticed it as well and apologized. I went to the till to pay and to no surpise, the security guard was still staring at me. I them waved to him and paid. I called to complain to the main help line, told them my issue and said they would get back to me. It has been over two weeks. Probably didnt get back to me as they never asked for my contact information This is a classic case of racial profiling. No response from Community Natural Foods. Understandably she was upset at the horrible lack of customer service she received. Rather than apologize, they shot her down then banned her the next day. We continued shopping at the downtown branch and occasionally I would pick up emergency items from the closer Crowfoot location. One day I rushed in in a hurry to pick something up, well aware they were closing soon. The supervisor called after me, telling me they're closing soon. I continued walking, well aware they were closing soon. She said 'Did you hear me?' I paused and said quite civilly, 'Yes.' the next thing I knew, I was banned. Presumably for that! Then to add insult to injury, when we went to the downtown branch we were told we are both banned there now too! This after 15 years of no incidences and being loyal customers, this is how they treat us. I called customer 'care' thinking it was a sick mistake and they said they would forward my concern to the appropriate person but no one ever got back to me. I then emailed them, no response. I have since told all my friends and colleagues of this hateful disgusting mistreatment. They were all shocked and won't shop there either. They also had a whole isle of supplement bars. I found a smoothie mix in the Greens + brand that I hadn't seen before, so I thought I would try it. I arrived at the gas station minutes before closing but everything was open - no sign of anyone shutting down the gas station: The machine took my credit card, I started filling up and just after the first couple of "drops" of fuel everything went dark... My recent experience with trying to sign up for a membership with Costco was more than…read moredisappointing to say the least. I am 17 years old. I recently went in to sign up. The women working customer service was beyond disrespectful. She was forceful in trying to sign me up for a credit card, after respectfully declining multiple times. She then, raised her voice and was disrespectful to my friend who was just standing next to me. She said, and I quote "Don't tell her what to do, you're screwing her out of a good deal." in a very aggressive manner. She eventually was willing to let me sign up for just the Gold star membership. I signed up with one email, and she kept telling me that it wouldn't work. She then proceeded to get me to sign up under another email account, which was also unsuccessful. She then said "Well you could have just signed up online." Which I then replied with, "If I was able to, then I would not have driven all the way out here to purchase a membership." She then sent me away and told me it was not her fault that this was not working. When I walked to my car, I got notified that I had been signed up under two separate email accounts. We then walked back in to ask how I had been signed up, but still unable to purchase and use the membership. She became increasingly rude. We were treated with the most disrespect I have ever experienced. She lied to her coworker about our prior interaction, claiming that this was my issue. She then started telling me that this is all because I am not 18. This is incorrect, as the Costco website clearly states that to open a new membership, you must be 16 years of age. After a solid hour and a half, I left with no membership. They were unwilling to delete the accounts they had created. This is no way to be treated. She was more than rude to me. I continued to stay respectful, even during frustrating times, however, she crossed a line. As a customer, I am disappointed that this was the beginning and the end of our business relationship, as I will no longer be purchasing a membership. As a company that prides themselves on good customer service, this was absolutely absurd. Having such disrespectful employees, being the face of the company, does not make me feel confident in them at all. I am absolutely disgusted in the fact that I was treated like this, just because I am a minor.
