My experience with Bulldog Adjusters has been very disappointing. After the Eaton Fire, and windstorm. I hired them to help us navigate insurance claims for repairs, and cleanup for our home and home based business, which were heavily contaminated with smoke damage asbestos, lead, and ash. While they responded promptly and were consistent daily at first, their communication became inconsistent after the contract was signed. I had to follow up repeatedly just to get any updates, as they are reactive rather than proactive. We are now over 100 days living in a hotel, and our house and business equipment remain inaccessible in our garage. The delays have caused us significant financial and personal hardship. I personally cleaned the exterior of my residence, including the ash-stained pool (which required draining, power washing, and refilling). I will also start cleaning the interior of my garage myself so I can resume my business and care for my customers. The initial approved cleaning by the insurance company did not cover the entire cost to clean up the contaminates. I care deeply about my clients and believe in good customer service. Unfortunately, Bulldog Adjusters did not provide the support I expected. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them. read more

Poor communication. No one responds to tagging on their site. They never moved my claim into the production ready status. Also, in over 5 months they were unable to get the full amount of my roof covered somehow. After trying to cancel with them and Evolve Construction starting in October 2025, another roofing company was able to increase the insurance estimated coverage and replace my roof in 1 month. I'm not getting emails saying that I owe money to Bulldog Adjusters nearly 6 months after cancelling. Still no response to calls or tags on their website. read more

The other one said no they got no extra money from the insurance company plus, I'm the owner of the house. My son signed the paperwork and he just lives there. Worst experience ever. They take 20 years to complete anything and then give you the runaround on payment. We have been trying to collect the final insurance payment from them (we are the contractor) and they either ignore us or if they do answer, it is excuse after excuse. This company is an absolute nightmare! Do NOT hire them! That also goes for EVOLVE Construction! I was deceptively entered into a contract with Bulldog Adjusters. I didn't know until I started receiving phone calls so they could send out an "Inspector" to review my roof, which I already had done with my insurance adjuster and was paid. I found out at that time I had a contract I was never told I had with Bulldog to pay them 10% of what the insurance would pay out, which came out to be about $1800. I called and asked to talk to the manager and was told "upper management" reviewed my request to cancel my contract and would not let me out of it unless I paid. And they have literally done NOTHING for me. So now, I'm in a spot that if and when I have any work done on my roof, all checks must be written out to both EVOLVE and Bulldog and from reading these reviews, I don't think I'll ever see the money. They sent me a "Demand" letter from an attorney saying I need to pay the $1800 plus their attorney fee and if I don't, they will proceed legal proceedings against me and I will have to pay all legal, interest, fees and court costs if I do not pay the amount owed. I have contacted legal counsel that they will be hearing from soon. Shame on this company and there should be a class action lawsuit against them! read more

Avoid Bulldog Adjusters at all costs! Our experience with them was an absolute nightmare. After Hurricane Ian seriously damaged our home in September 2022, we were forced to move into a rental property. Never having dealt with an insurance claim of this magnitude, we hired Bulldog Adjusters in October of 2022 hoping their fee would eventually prove valuable. We could not have been more wrong. We received a check from our insurance company in January of 2023 which was solely based upon our insurance companies' adjuster estimate and had nothing to do with Bulldog Adjusters. Bulldog Adjusters immediately reached out and suggested we send the check to them for processing. Once the check arrived at their office, they did nothing with it for seven months allowing it to go stale and be canceled in August of 2023. Throughout all of 2023 we reached out to several employees of Bulldog Adjusters over twenty times through calls, voicemails, and emails just to figure out the status of our case and our check. On the rare occasions we received a return call or email, we were given vague, misleading, inaccurate and even untruthful answers to our questions. After Bulldog let our original check go stale, they eventually requested a reissue, which they mishandled again. By the time our mortgage company tried to deposit the reissued checks, it bounced due to another botched cancellation request from a Bulldog Adjuster employee. In the end, our funds were delayed for nearly two years due to Bulldog's ineptitude, mismanagement and negligence, leaving us unable to start repairs on our home and forcing us to live in a rental property. Over the last week I discussed all of this with the CEO of Bulldog Adjusters and he still refuses to take any responsibility whatsoever for the negligent actions of his employees and company. Instead, the CEO attempted to bribe us by offering a 10% reduction in his fees if I would remove my negative online review. I suspect the reason there aren't more negative online reviews of this company is that many people have probably accepted his bribe and removed their negative reviews. We have never experienced such incompetence and complete lack of accountability from any company or organization. Bulldog Adjusters made an already horrible situation much worse by delaying the repair of our home and unnecessarily costing us tens of thousands of dollars in rent because of their negligence and ineptitude. Save yourself the headache and money and find someone else to represent you. You've been warned. Claim has been open more than a year. The appraiser Bulldog hired has been "negotiating" since Haloween. I have 20+ P&C claims experience, CPCU AIC, know how the process is supposed to work. I know reps change, people get sick & have accidents, the pending is sometimes too high. Negotiations break diwn, a 6 month claim turns into a 12 month claim. Every claim is different. So the neighbor that recommended Bulldog with 5+ stars for similar (more extensive) damage that was settled in 5 months doesn't believe what is happening with this claim. It's a coinflip on what Bulldog experience you might get. Hurricane Ian caused substantial damage, which the insurance company wasn't interested in reasonably repairing. Value won't be known until the settlement after fees are deducted. This rating assumes the claim will be resolved with "average/satisfactory" value. It will be adjusted. read more

My review was pulled from google so this is a new updated posting. I would recommend Bulldog respond to it here as I will keep reposting. Someone from Bulldog called regarding my review and experience. I believe her name was Melissa. So, I went in depth with her regarding my review and detailed my experience with Bulldog. I should have expected it with this company, but they had zero accountability for the situation. They basically told me that I was not the first person to complain about Bryan, but Bryan was not an employee of theirs and they just took on clients of his at times. Fair enough, but your company is the one he came representing. I would have thought a higher up would have called to discuss further, but instead they took the weak approach of just deleting my negative review. Great way to wrap up our business. Please read my review below for more information on what you can apparently expect from Bulldog and their associates. Bryan Rausch was our adjuster and sold us on Bulldog, and specifically Bryan himself. Bryan was going to be at every appointment and fighting for us every step of the way. Well, He was there for one appointment, was there for some (not even half) of another appointment and was absent on the subsequent one. Bryan's services were a total waste. We used 0 of Bryan's work in closing our claim. On top of it, after the rejection of our claim and no apparent fight from Bulldog, we had to get an attorney (That referral was one of the two pros for Bulldog). Our attorney had us get an engineer who found more damage than Bryan's original assessment (good job Bryan!). To be fair and transparent, the litigation portion is part of the plan outlined from BA. We got nowhere near what Bryan said we should get. I let Bryan know that the amount we received was WAY less than what we had discussed and also let him know our attorney took a lesser fee to make it so our home could be made close to right again. Bryan said welp, better than nothing! Excellent customer service! The second pro for bulldog was Jasmine Carty who was our account receivable processor. Jasmine did a phenomenal job for us. She worked diligently to get us our check as quickly as possible. Thank you Jasmine! If you decide to go with bulldog I would HIGHLY recommend to negotiate a better percentage. We did the 20% as what was sold to us seemed worth it. That 20% did NOT include attorney's fees (which are paid by the insurance company). We paid thousands of dollars for a write up that we could not even use in the end. Horrible experience. Sounded great in the beginning (great salesman) but quickly got worse and worse. No communication, unprepared for mediation, turnover at the company that I couldn't get a dedicated resource on my case. They recommended an outside lawyer when they realized their screw up during the mediation and the fact that the insurance company didn't want to deal with their negligence. Fortunately the attorney was phenomenal. I had to throw out everything that was put together by bulldog and had to do almost all the work myself by calling contractors, plumbers, floor and roofing companies in order to get quotes to use for my case because everything bulldog had "provided" was either wrong or grossly miscalculated (both to my benefit and detriment). After two years I finally reached a settlement, mind you that Bulldog has done nothing to earn their percentage except for pointing me to my lawyer. I can't imagine how a "finders fee" works out to 10% of my total settlement. On top of all that, when I finally got my settlement check after TWO YEARS, they wouldn't sign off on the insurance check without pressuring me into signing an authorization form stating they were allowed to talk to my mortgage company (they wouldn't sign the check without this authorization form). Apparently my mortgage company won't talk to them and now bulldog is threatening to take me to collections, even though I haven't gotten my full settlement yet! Review should be zero stars. The only time someone is available on their end is when they think they're going to collect their 10% that they DID NOT deserve nor earned. Just received certified mail that they are now threatening to take me to collections!!! I still haven't even gotten paid out from the mortgage company. Clown company....avoid. Do yourself a favor and get legal representation instead since you're going to be doing the bulk of the work anyway. read more

Do not use this company. We contacted them after getting what we thought was a very unfair estimate from our insurance company on a massive water leak. They came out, did a good thorough inspection and we received an estimate from them for the insurance company. They contacted the insurance company and nothing. They allegedly sent paperwork and the estimate to the insurance company and nothing. About two weeks later, they called me and told me to contact their attorney because there was nothing else they could do. That was (is) the last time I heard from them. Since then I had to hire an attorney (I used mine since I became concerned about their fees - my insurance would pay them IF we went to litigation and won, which meant lots of time with our substantial damage), I had to get several other estimates from contractors since the insurance company would no honor theirs. Four plus months later we still do not have a shower. This week we settled with the insurance company for less that we could have, had we gone to litigation and another who knows how long. Bulldog still gets their 20% of the entire claim before anyone else gets paid (attorney), for doing nothing. If you have a loss, save your 20%, do not hire them. Get several reputable general contractors to give you estimates, work with your insurance adjuster and attempt to get it resolved, if you need to hire an attorney, hire a reputable one and they will do what needs to be done. I am not a complainer or one of those dissatisfied customers who whines about everything. I believe in fair payment for work done. I would have no hesitation to pay Bulldog if they had done something to earn their money, but 20% for what they did is shameful. To me it is a cheap lesson and hope others learn from my mistake. do not trust this company!!! they referred a plumber who mis-diagnosed a slab leak. the company removed all of the floors, wall, and tile in my master bedroom. since there was no leak the claim was denied and now bulldog is hiding and will not resolve the issue even though they referred this plumber. stay away!! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I'm a Combat Disabled Marine and they absolutely took advantage of me. I was straight-up lied to from the beginning. I was told that the adjuster had never lost against an insurance company for a roof replacement. I was told to get mold testing done and that I would be reimbursed. Never happened. I was told I would get reimbursed for other costly items and never was. It was impossible to get any answers after signing the contract with them until they knew I had received a check from my insurance company and they wanted their commission. Amazingly I then received multiple calls a day. Bulldog told me that my insurance company was close to agreement on another 16k from the "mold clause" of my policy and next thing I get is an email sating that my insurance wouldn't settle further and that I should call an attorney that Bulldog suggested to assist me. Then I would have to pay the attorney his fees plus Bulldog another 20% of anything the attorney recovered. This company and their service is a total scam. I have spoken to others that have also been scammed and our stories were almost identical. Promises, lies, impossible to reach or get answers from, and minimal monetary settlements. I didn't receive enough to cover even half of the minimum repairs and cannot speak to my insurance company about my claim because I signed a contract authorizing Bulldog Adjusters to represent me. Bulldog Adjusters helped me with my water damage claim. My AC leaked literally all over my floor. This particular area was difficult to get to because it leaked behind the couch. I called Bulldog Adjusters and they helped me create a claim. I just felt like I had NO idea what I was going to do because I'm a renter and not a homeowner. Bulldog got me $3000 for the cost of my couch. And by the way, my renter's insurance just told me they'd give me $275 for a couch. My couch was purchased brand new about a year ago and it was actually really expensive. I couldn't have done this without Bulldog Adjusters holding my hand through it all. They came over the same day I called and took pictures of my couch, the floor, the wall and everything. They even made my claim and sent photos to my renter's insurance company. AND GUESS WHAT?
