We've been by here for years, and only once had an issue with something with purchased. The manager that we worked with to fix the problem was super nice and made that issue an non-issue. Today was more of the same, but, to me, it really illustrated what this store is all about and what the people who work there have as their Professional goal. Several months ago we purchased a standing desk for my wife's home office. Her entire space was in transition so she hadn't decided where she wanted to put it and how she was going to use it. She already had a desk that had a hutch, so she didn't want one of those table top standing desks, she wanted a separate unit. we finally finished her set up and yesterday I went to open and set up the standing desk for her. It turns out the desk was missing several parts, including the all important hydraulic lift. This morning we went in and spoke to Gary, the manager of the location, and... Despite not having a receipt or even confirmation of which card we purchased it with... he bent over backwards to replace the desk with something comparable, since they didn't have the one we purchased in stock anymore (not a shock, considering the nature of his business). He walked the entire store with us to find something that we could purchase that would be similar and allowed the exchange without a receipt. We also found several other things that we couldn't leave without. It just goes to show you that treating people well is its own reward... Treating them well and giving them a reason to work with you, brings back more than karma. Thank you bulldog and thank you Gary, we will continue to be loyal customers. read more

UPDATE: Ok we went back to go Xmas shopping and had a much better experience! The staff was way friendlier and much more helpful. We arrived at 10:30, so only 30 minutes after they opened and it was busy! Before we decided to take the trip, I checked out their Instagram page to see if there was anything even worth traveling for and didn't see anything but the hubby was dying to go. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was the Christmas trees in the middle of the building. I've been looking for a tree around 9ft and there were 2 great looking ones standing tall before me! There was no pricing on them so I had to go to the front desk to ask for someone to help me with questions about the trees. I was told to go back by them and someone would come and help me. That's when Brandon came to the rescue. He was so nice and answered all of my questions. 1 of the trees didn't have any lights working and 1 had about 3/4 of the tree lit. When I asked if the one with some working lights was broken or just not plugged in he said it was broken. When I showed some disappointment in his response he hit me with the, "hold on a second, let me try something!" I was already excited by his words. He started poking at the tree and voila! The top section lit up like a Griswold Family Tree should! I quickly told him it was SOLD and to slap the sold sign on it so I could continue to shop and not worry about someone stealing it out from under me. By the time we finished shopping and paid, when we went outside to pick up our new (to me) tree, Brandon had taken it apart and boxed it up for me already! Once we got to my car and realized there was no way the box would fit, he helped us take it all out, wrap each individual section with tape and put the puzzle pieces together, both in our trunk and back seat! It's very hit and miss. It's often filled with junk that is either not well identified (basic stacked boxes or items In broken boxes), or priced too high for a warehouse full of 'stuff'. Occasional gems pop up but not too often. Visited for first time. This is not retail. While they may have good stuff, it's not organized well. They need taller shelves to better display merchandise. The area with gardening and planting pots etc had so many things leaned up against the shelves it was me moving things so I could get behind all the stuff to view what's on the shelves. Bulldog liquidators is a very interesting place. It's kind of like an indoor swap meet had babies with the Goodwill store. There are lots of interesting things there for sure. Many name brands and good quality stuff mixed with overstock items. Lots of damaged goods.It's difficult to see if things are OK as you can't open any boxes. The staff is not extremely friendly. Don't park in the back near the cargo doors. Unfortunately I got trapped by a delivery truck. And they wouldn't move. They said they only had one pallet and it would be quick. I waited for 15 minutes. I ended up off-roading in into the parking lot next door because I didn't want to be late to work. The pricing seemed a little high. Wow. They are 1.5 hours away from me but well worth it. I was at Six Flags the day before and stayed at a hotel near by. I'm glad I checked for liquidations in the area after I checked out. Figured we'd see if there were any good deals before heading back to LA and I'm sure glad we did. Got a deal on a couch. They sell straps too but they were cheap and eventually broke but in a pinch it worked out to get the furniture we bought home. Their customer service is great too. People were willing to help. So I heard about this place and the first thing I was told was "buy something and you get store credit of the same amount as you purchase" I was like what?!!! They weren't lying!!!! I walked out paying 140 something dollars and ended up with stuff worth close to $400!!!! This applies here only because their trying to get rid of everything. Hurry before the run out of stuff! *** Junk shop with defective products*** I bought an air fryer and a tripod from this store thinking the items are functional. Mind you they don't let you open the boxes to inspect the product. I had a missing plate for the tripod and the air fryer was a gift for my sister that did not work. The air fryer for $75 did not heat up and now unfortunately we cannot return the item. My wife and I really like this place! My wife absolutely loves their mystery boxes and the pet toys. 90% of everything I have purchased from there has been great. I have purchased appliances, tools and even a 3D printer and I have been pretty much happy. The reason for 4 stars not 5 is that I have gotten a few electronics and they have not worked. That is a 2 out of 6 with electronic purchases. The upset with that is the it store says they test the electronics, well I would say that is not 100% true. One item was missing a fuse so there would no way to test it and the other was missing it's drive. Now they do allow returns, so that is great as well. But when I get all excited and it doesn't work I get more bummed out that I have to return it and then look for the item somewhere else. If you go in knowing they're a liquidators which means nothing is going to be perfect it will almost always be a good time! read more

I had a very rude interaction with Oscar in the auction pickup area. I bid/won an auction item which needed to be picked up. For some reason, they only allow people to pickup TWO days (thurs and friday) between like, 10-3 pm - you know... during work hours for most people. And if you do not pickup your item(s) by Friday, you're SOL and they keep your stuff. I call bulldog and ask if there was any flexibility on the pickup times as I work and could get there around 4 at the earliest. The person who answered the phone was super nice and told me it was no problem, that I could pickup after 3 as long as it was before 5. OK cool! I arrive at like 4:05 ish and head to pickup where I'm "greeted" by Oscar. He starts immediately telling me NO PICKUP and asking if I know how to read as there is a sign saying no pickup after 4. I told him that I had called and he cuts me off asking who I spoke to. I don't know - I don't ask for names? He asks again "WHO DID YOU TALK TO, GIVE ME THE NAME". I just told you I DONT KNOW. Oscar: I NEED TO KNOW WHO YOU TALKED TO BECAUSE THEY NEED TO BE SPOKEN TO ABOUT THE RULES. Very professional. Mind you - it's 4:05. He begrudgingly gets my package and I bid that asshole adieu. That will probably be my last time purchasing anything from here. That type of behavior was uncalled for. The cheap lamp was NOT worth being spoken down to by some jerk. Honestly everything had been great experiences here until the big lady with glasses got involved. I bought a Christmas present for my brothers (basket ball hoop) upon getting it home and opening it after Christmas I noticed all the nuts and bolts were missing. I had to, that day go buy a brand new hoop because who wants to tell a child they can't have their Christmas present put together because it's missing pieces. I had been reassured by a gentleman that worked there that all items were to be in the box, when I asked about purchasing the item because it was a present. As soon as I had a Chance I took it back and a very nice young lady was helping me at the front. The young lady helping me became visibly taken a back. I then proceeded to explain that's what I ended up having to do because of the misinformation I received.
