Been shopping over there ( no more ..) They make many mistakes at the cashier! Over 6 mistakes in one year, when they charge for extra items. If you shop there, check your receipts in the store, or in your car.. I'm sure they get away with it because most people assume that there's no mistake. And the mistakes are never to the customers benefit. Also the way that they get the low price is by getting products that are old, and some get sale on their expiration date. Today I had to return yogurt that has black molds in it. Yes.. A huge chunk of black mold. Which if someone eat it he will end up with major medical issues.. I called the store and mentioned that to the manager of the store, They brushed it off, like it's not a big deal .. My overall experience at the store is positive but recently there is a new employee, female and seems quite young, she is just not friendly, never says hi or greets anyone, she snacks at the register in front of customer and I find it kind of unprofessional. read more

They are very polite and smiling and kind. However, they overcharge at the register when the price is clearly marked below each product. If you decide not to get the product or you tell them they've overcharged, they call people in to check prices. Bring your cell phone camera and plan on taking a picture of the product and the accompanying price because you're not going to be able to trust the cash register to scan correctly read more

TJ Farms Steak Cut Fries were for sale at $1.49 for a 20-ounce bag. The picture on the bag shows regular steak cut fries, but once opened, the bag is full of what I would call potato slivers. If I hadn't paid money for the bag, I would have thought it was a joke. Consumers, please be aware that the contents don't match what is shown on the outside. It is a rip off and Grocery Outlet should be ashamed to sell this product. It is no wonder that it is being sold at Grocery Outlet, as no regular supermarket would have the audacity to sell this product. read more

I'm so glad that Santa Clarita has this store now. I used to shop at one in Lancaster many years ago but then it closed. Many people in SCV were complaining that a bargain store was opening in a "High End" neighborhood. More like 'Entitled' neighborhood. So you're saying that you want to pay MORE for your groceries?! The store is brand new and amazing. Of course the prices are spectacular. $.99 for a box of captain crunch when that same box would be $4.99 at Vons. Everything was neatly arranged, clean and stocked. The girl at the counter ringing me up was super sweet and cheerful. And she gave me a coupon that took $5 off my bill. They also sold plants and gardening stuff, my favorite. If you are bougie then you probably won't like it here, but if your average and cool, then have it it cause this is the place for you! read more

Customer service seems to be going down. They used to be pretty good about opening a new cashier lane when lines were long. Now, the managers seem oblivious to customers who are waiting. I've seem them chatting together, glancing at the line of customers, but taking no action. This has been happening within the last two months. read more

I started shopping her about 9 months ago. Not nearest market to me, but one that I go up and down every aisle. You never know what you'll find. They have a great selection of wines. Small store typically for locals like me but not a small store feel. The staff are not friendly and have an attitude that seems to say you are bothering them. I've been waiting for the grocery outlet to open up in this area finally today the grand opening of the store on plum canyon. I went there after they opened and it was already crowded. And I can see why there was a lot of different bargains hence the name grocery outlet bargain market. This is definitely a place to stop and pick up not only necessities but also unique items that they carry in their store I'm looking forward to many more visits in the near future. It's a good place for last minute runs when you've realized you're out of something in your fridge, when you have snack cravings, or when you need over the counter meds...at least that's how it is for us. They don't have a big meat or produce selection, so when we want to cook something, we end up going to the bigger grocery stores. Also, some of their meat are discolored, or the container is showing signs of gas building up (some containers are puffy). The staff at the counter are friendly, and when we needed to exchange mochi, there was no issue. We'll still come here again, probably for the mochi...just open the box to make sure it's still neatly packed in there! read more

This place is just awful. The staff is rude. They don't seem to like to honor returns or items that ring up wrong. I have bought so much food here that goes bad well before the expiration date and when I told the manager, he didn't seem to care. Will be avoiding this place at all cost. Their customer service sucks!! Big time!! It's worth going to pay more for not only an actual selection but not having to deal with the attitudes and lack of customer service skills by a bunch of lazy young adults who act like your putting them out because they r expected to do their job. But they have a very hard time even knowing what that is! I don't know if they are ignorant or just lazy but they are terrible. Atleast 5 or 6 I've encountered probably more. I have not one time asked anyone in that store anything without an attitude that on the wrong day would be taking them outside! Look at the expiration dates as one of the reasons why they're on "outlet" prices is because the manufacturers sell to this chain to help move the product. I wouldn't buy produce from here that is enclosed, I've shopped here multiple times and constantly have mold issues once I open the package 2-3 days later. This place is great for packaged goods with longer shelf life and sometimes you can find brands that are typically in Sprouts or Wholefoods which is great too with the cost savings. But typically they don't restock items, once it's gone it's gone. read more

Visited this location on Momday 11/8/21. Usually visit ones in Bakersfield. Clean store with very fresh vegetable selection. Nice selection of products. Found it odd they have a ton of flour and other baking good but no sugar. Otherwise on tight budget and was able to fill cart up including a nice sized turkey. I am hard of hearing almost deaf. The masks make it extremely hard to understand people and they usually just try talking louder or get frustrated which doesn't help. I usually have to get whoever I am with to answer them for me. At the checkout at this location the cashier was very friendly ,at first he did try saying it louder and when I told him I still couldn't hear he looked directly at me while standing back at a distance and lowered his mask to repeat what he said so I could read his lips. I wish I got his name to let his employer know. Misplaced receipt so can't check Hopefully next time I go there he is still there and I can get his name. read more

A grocery store was much desired and needed in the Canyon Country hills and we finally got one. Course it was one that is not too familiar in the Santa Clarita Valley. Many were curious as to what this place would be like. A few good friends told me good stories about their experiences with ones in the valley and up North where they are more wide spread, so needless to say I was excited! I counted the days for this one to open. Today I got to walk in. As the old saying goes, don't get your hopes up. I guess I did. The exclusive Canyon Country hills was given the illegitimate love child of The Dollar Tree and Ralph's who is trying to move up the hill and prove to them he can make it. It leaves much to be desired in a lot of areas but some good selections in others. For one, my biggest complaint, the meat section is a quarter of what Ralph's has and not nearly competitive to its sister store Food-4-Less (best meat selection in town-my opinion). It barely has a slot for beef. Chicken, pork no problem. Beef, it's like they couldn't find a supplier. You can't move in to this neighborhood and not have a beef section. Second, as Gordon Ramsey would scream where's the seasoning!! There is not a compete either seasoning section in that store. Sure they have the basics, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, you get the idea. Oh and in bulk too. Lastly the organization is confusing. There is nothing more frustrating than having to go to two different rows for the same thing. The first row to the right of the store has a mishmash of common groceries, okay, quick easy grab. Then those same items are somewhere else in the store so it's not easy to do some comparative shopping for those that really need to for the sake of their fine tuned budget. Some might like it, to me it's a pet peeve. They do however have a nice produce section, well stocked (it is their first day and all) much like Ralph's large selection of earthly grown goodies. I didn't see any strawberries though, or blue berries. I may have missed them. Another bonus is their fairly large selection of good ole alcohol. Nice! Party town is Canyon Country so it makes it convenient to get the supply's in our backyard. The frozen food section is fantastic too. All the great goodies one could use. Most junk food, but for those that buy frozen items, it works. The store boasts a beautiful welcome to Santa Clarita inking on the far right wall as you enter. Very nice touch. The place has all the basics, the employees are friendly and trained. But again it's a combination of two lessers stores trying to bring up its britches and plop down on the Canyon Country hills. It has potential but needs to rethink some things. Meat and seasoning were two big ones on my list. Course I can get all the veggies I need, and grab a few bottles of JD for the weekend. read more

One of the nicer Grocery Outlet: Bargain Markets I've been too! Well maintained and rarely crowded.

I went to this location after making a purchase at a different Grocery outlet which I was dissatisfied with. I went to this particular store because it's new in our area and want to support local businesses. I had a receipt fully legible and had the product in a decent condition. What made me uspset was the. Owner Alex Calderon Leif to my face when he said the receipt says you can only return the item at the store purchased. If the receipt would have said that I wouldn't even had tried, He told me "It says it there" I asked "Where? Show me," He said he would and the receipt doesn't say that. He had the opportunity to gain a customer and chose to lie to my face. Stay away from this place and I will share my experiences with friends and family read more

As a local grocery store, it has you covered. is it the perfect one-stop store to buy everything you need? No, but it does have enough merchandises and variety that can get you through the week. The price on certain items are a killer deal! For other stuffs you have to do your own research! They even have a decent size area for plant-based food as well. Overall, this is not the perfect place for you to find everything you need but for daily needs, it is definitely my go-to place read more

I really like Grocery Outlet. I've been driving to the other locations( Sun Valley and Burbank) for years. This store is about the size of the Sun Valley store, maybe smaller. They do have a great selection of natural/organic products. I will say you need to know your prices. I did see some items for sale today that cost more than at the 99 only store. For instance, a brand of "greek style" cream cheese. It was 1.99 at Grocery Outlet and its 1.00 at 99 only. With that being said, the store is clean and there was a lot of staff. read more

Manager was right there and didn't even acknowledge me, like I didn't even exist...is this the way customers should be treated. I told the cashier (and manager) just look at the ad regarding a price, how hard is that to do? After going back and forth for a minute or two they gave me the price but when the cashier handed me my receipt not a "thank you" or anything...like the money was coming out of her pocket. Every worker here needs training in customer service. An item scanned for a different amount than advertised, and instead of honoring the advertised price, both the manager and checker want to argue. Their solution: return the item. Instead of selling an item, they choose to lose business over a few cents. When I pointed out the wrong price to the checker, Christian O., he had the nerve to sigh and roll his eyes like this is a bother. However, it's no surprise because the manager he called to help him was also rude and argumentative. This place is extremely unprofessional. read more

While I am not a weekly shopper my last two visits have resulted in price discrepancies. First, I was charged multiple times for a single item. And second, in my most recent visit, I was not charged the amount posted next to the item in the isle. While I eventually got the both issues resolved the attitude of the employees was like I was bother them for brings up these issues. When I asked for a corporate number on this last visit the "manager" stated he didn't have the number and that I look it up online. If you shop here please check your receipts!! read more
