Having adopted Ellie recently, she did not have the best manners, and really had not undergone any sort of training her whole life. We knew she could use the extra help with some professional training. She had poor leash skills, jumped up on us and strangers all the time, and chewed objects around the house. After the two week training camp, Ellie is basically a different dog (see YouTube video below from her second week of training camp). She has great leash walking skills, responds very well to "no", will sit in "place" (her bed) and stay, and is all around a better behaved dog. We even had follow up lessons with Jonathan to make sure we know how all the training commands and techniques worked and to help us stay on top of it. Jonathan was nice enough to even work with our other dog and give us tips for him. They worked really well with her, gave her time to settle in. When I would drop her off in the am we greeted in a nice friendly way by Scott. Robert took her every morning and walked her around. I mentioned she was leery of the techs going to vans in the parking lot and he got her out there to observe them. Kendall her main trainer was a positive force for her and she really likes her now. (This is big for this girl and her fears) She has become more focused and listens much better. Took her to pickup curbside on our way home from class, normally she backs away from the curbside employee or tries to go up front. Today she sat nicely in the car, watched them and didn't try to get away from. Big improvement. I look forward to watching her become even more confident with her group classes. Highly recommend!

Jenna joined day care as soon as the facility at Kenwick was opened. Lilly and Courage started daycare as soon as they were adopted. The pups love coming here. I am especially impressed by the enrichment activities provided. It is hard to make time to take the pups to a group class, and the training that they receive during their weekly visit is a real help. The pups get their share of social interaction, play, some group and individual activities. Jenna took the Reactive Rover class and really benefitted from the training. Courage is taking her first Sidekick class. Lilly will join a class soon. The owner, Stephanie, and manager, Maggie and staff genuinely love dogs. My pups love them right back. Before Ronnie came here, I had already paid, the Same Money for another board,and, train program through Dog Wise. Ronnie already knew her basic obedience commands before she went. We hired them because we needed help with her resource guarding and wanted her exposed to real, life situations and people. She came home knowing how to "place" on a cot, but that was about it. I tried to convince myself it was worth it, but in my heart I never felt like she was getting worked with every day. I received very few basic train videos or updates during her stay, and honestly, it felt more like she spent her time in a kennel than in training. She even came home without her personalized collar and leash. We did not receive any of the follow up sessions promised. I also spent a lot of money on private one-on-one lessons with another trainer through Sit Means Sit. Four 50-minute sessions later, I still wasn't getting the help Ronnie really needed. Ronnie isn't just learning commands in a building. She's going on field trips to busy stores like Lowe's, pet stores, sporting goods stores, parks, and other places where there are real distractions. She's learning how to be confident and how to make good choices in everyday situations. I also love seeing videos of her in mark's home interacting with his family. Watching Ronnie become more relaxed, more social, and more confident has meant so much to me. As someone who works full time, travels for work, and is also a full-time caregiver, I simply don't have the time to give Ronnie this kind of daily exposure and consistency. That's exactly why I chose a board, and, train program, and this is the first time I truly feel like I'm getting what I paid for. I'm actually excited for the leash handover because I know they're going to teach me how to continue everything Ronnie has learned. After I was told by Cassandra, the supervisor, I could pay using the app and allow my daughter to pick my dog up, their payment links did not work to no fault of their own. When my daughter went to pick our dog up I was on the phone with her, I asked to speak with someone there to let them know to reshare the links or email so we could pay. I could hear them in the background saying they would not talk with me. So I called the store to accommodate their needs since they refused to talk to me on my daughter's phone. Gabriel rudely let me know I had two options inpatient and uninterested in at least resending the links. I asked him to resend the email since it sounded as though he had sent it to the wrong one. The entire time he approached our conversation as though I was an inconvenience. All the while my daughter waited their embarrassed. Their customer service was the absolute worst. We will take our business elsewhere.
