Upon walking in, I was rudely greeted by some old farts behind the counter asking what caliber I was using to which I answered "7.62". They quickly responded that it was not allowed. Considering they sell other 7.62 caliber weapons, I told them I just assumed it would be allowed for use in the gun range. The old farts then, in the sassiest way, laughed at me and said "just because we sell them doesn't mean you can shoot them". The manager was very rude and unprofessional. Took one look at me and assumed I wasn't trained or qualified to shoot a pistol before even asking about my background. Prices were very reasonable, and they did not limit your time. They also had a wide range of caliber guns that you could rent to try. Brought three rifles in to shoot. 44mag, 357 mag, and 44-40. The owner said I could shoot the two magnums but the 44-40 was too powerful for his range. These were cowboy loads as the rifle was a modern 1873. These old toggle link actions are too weak for modern ammo pressures. I tried to get him to just look up the 44-40 round but he said his mind was made up. Been going to this place for decades before it was sold to this person. He also will talk you to death. Just waiting for him to sell before I ever go back. Used to be a great place to practice. The MANY ONE STAR reviews are on Yelp under not recommended. read more

Great gun range with great people working there, wasn't expecting much when I walked in but it was a nice old fashioned gun shop. Cheap range prices and nice shooting lanes. Range was better than expected. Check in was very easy and went quick. I bring all my own ammo and PPE so can't comment on that. Do wish they had a little bigger target selection to choose from. Bought an AR and some ammo from here a while back. A day later started having car troubles and found out I needed some money for repairs. I thought "hmm I haven't even opened the AR or the ammo boxes so I can just swing back by and return them for a refund". Guess I was wrong. The shop owner wasn't there that day or so I was told so I'd have to come back the next day. I figured that's fine no worries. I come back the next day and all of a sudden plastered on the door and cash register are hand drawn signs that say "no refunds". So I ask what I could do and their only option was to buy the gun back from me as a "used" AR and give me half my money back even though nothing had been opened yet. I went years ago to inquire about their permit class, even though I had a permit from another state which has reciprocity. The old woman was downright rude, and ignored me and the guy didn't want to answer my questions; was like pulling teeth trying to get answers. They both acted like I was bothering them, and I was the only customer in there. I don't know if they were the owner's; if so they shouldn't be in a business where they deal with the public. Not a family friendly environment. Foul mouth blow hard employee/owner(?) wouldn't shut up or quit cussing while children are present. He mocked the appearance of another customer (who I actually knew) over and over due to his style of clothes. That customer just walked out the door while old blow-hard was still flapping his mouth. The 2 other gentlemen were decent and courteous...so I hate for this negative review to reflect on them. I stopped shooting at this range a LONG time ago...now will use other FFL to do my transfers....or get my own FFL. How is this place still operating? read more

Over all good place to buy guns , great people there my only problem was that I bought two bags of 5.56mm each 50rds I got curious if it was the exact amount regarding them being in a zip lock bag , I counted them & had 3 missing in each bag trying calling they don't have a number for the place & im sure they would say I was lying. Had a great time here. I'm new to the indoor range thing and the guys at the desk were super helpful! They were very informative and Funny. I had a slight hiccup and the young man who helped us was very nice and helped us through the issue. There were several other people here shooting and they were all very pleasant as well. This is a great hidden place to come out to blow off some steam. I haven't done this in a few years but it was like riding a bike. It's a great place to have friends to join you or even a date if he or she don't mind. I had a wonderful time and the staff was the funniest I've been around in a while. Shouldn't even get a star at all as far as I'm concerned personally. Piss poor attitude by the two people that were at the counter as my party of like 10+ people. Half of the party was already in the building when me and the rest of our group entered and we noticed the abrasive tone towards the first group and negative body language by both employees as we entered. They seemed to take a defensive mode of attitude, they acted as if we came into their establishment with bad intentions, all of us were of African American descent. I noticed and am sure that a big majority of their clientele are minority considering the location of town they're located in. My first encounter and my last. Stank attitude overall. read more

Well, my experience was fantastic. I had purchased a pistol (Browning Medalist) I had wanted for 50 years. I was not able to get the darn thing to fire. I took it to the proprietor, he was there behind the counter, and asked for help. He fiddled with it then took it to his gunsmith in the back room. After awhile the gunsmith came out, apologized for how long it took him, said, "this took me way back", then explained the pistol had a dryfire setting and showed me how to turn it off and on. They inspected the factory box and teased out the instructions to my embarrassment and showed me everything. All in all they spent over an hour and half of their time making sure I was RIGHT. Then Bill and the 'smith refused payment or a tip. They've got me as a customer longterm. read more

Hit or miss with customer service. Made a purchase, higher than what it needed to be but since it was down the street went here just in case of issues. Had I did more shopping around I could of saved myself about $100 bucks. The guys were real cool to me during my purchase. Came in a month later to use the range and acted if I was there to steal. Real hassle to use their range. Had my younger brother with me which their website says kids can shoot with guardian with them, which I am his guardian. However, went in there and they asked for his ID which mentioned he was a minor but the guy on the other-side of the counter said "just like a bar, no ID no service". I found this ironic as a bar serves alcohol for customers over the age of "21" not "18", which he is a MINOR and website says they can shoot. Needless to say made my one and only purchase and won't return unless I need ammo. read more

This is where I go to shoot. I also bought a gun from them. First off I like the staff. they are nice, friendly and does not push you. Also when they are not busy they are more than willing to stop and chat. They are good people. I like the range. They have 25 yard and 15 yard indoor lanes. I have never had to wait. The gun I bought was one they had to order. The process was simple and fast. I ordered that Friday and I got my gun by Wednesday although It may have come in Tuesday evening. Once again the process for picking up your gun and the paperwork was a breeze. Are they the best? Well yep they are the best in the area.Best in the world? I doubt it. But they are a good shop full of good people and I like that. If you are in the area you cannot go wrong with them. I have shot at a few ranges but no as personable as this one. I read more

I disagree with Dub K's review implicating charges of racism. How so. Because the owner is predisposed to be grumpy. He can treat everyone that way regardless of race. I'm a longtime member of this business. I go way back to when it was under previous ownership. In other words, I'm not a one-time customer, as I suspect Dub K. is. I've seen plenty of American-African's patronize this business with no problems. FYI, I challenged Yelp to remove Dub K's review. My position is this. If you make charges of racism then you had best be able to back it up! Unfortunately Yelp doesn't feel that way. On matters of racism they seem to subscribe to the notion that you're guilty until proven innocent. How else can it be interpreted?! Conclusion: not only does Dub K 'play the race card' but Yelp sustains the false narrative. I thank you and beseech you, let's keep it real. Fred treated me like I should feel privlegded to spend my money there and he could care less whether I did or not. Terrible customer service! Went there today to shoot. I, like most people went there with my own ammunition. I paid for the range entry and after the fact, they asked to see my ammo. They have started a rule that shooters can only use brass casing ammo. So the ammo that I bought and like most people that go in there now was useless. I was forced to buy their ammo which was hiked up in price and not any better quality. On top of that, the guy that seems to run the place has a "Sherri" mentality and is rude. Been here several times to shoot and I took the License to Carry Class. The range prices are reasonable. The retractable shooting targets are in good working order. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about guns. I highly recomend this place. Be cognizant of range rules: pick up your brass. Shooters are responsible for picking up their brass. read more

Been going here since it was Ben's Gun Shop. Really gone down hill since he sold the place. Maybe 30 pistols in the building, was really shocked by that. Just a lackadaisical vibe to the place now. Closest range around though which is the main draw I think. read more

I started trading with the owners of Bullseye when they had a gun store on Hampton Rd. in Desoto. When they bought Bullseye , I continued to trade with them and over the years became friends with all the old crowd. They have always been honest with me and treated me with respect . I like the shooting range and the friendly atmosphere. I also would highly recommend the hand gun carry permit classes. I have taken my Classes at Bullseye and the instructors were very professional. My top compliment is I have spent my money here and will again. I haven't been lately, sorry to say, but will soon correct that. Good place, great people! read more
