I went in for a cracked tooth knowing I probably needed a root canal. Find out they only do them once a month there when the endo is in...they were booked two months out. The charge for one crown and a root canal was over 3k. Temp crown fell out within two days. When I finally went in for the root canal (never had one and was extremely nervous and they knew this and it was noted in my file, that I was difficult to numb) had to stop the endo twice, once because I had a literal panic attack in the chair, again because I could feel everything. The root canal itself after they got me properly numb was fine. But before the root canal they tried to tell me all the sudden I needed a second root canal next to that tooth and one on the other side. I was not having it. The crown itself is a horrible gaping fit. It protrudes outward much further than any of my other molars and the bite is horrific. I ended up having my cosmetic dentist replace the crown because it was such shoddy work. The crown portion was done by Dr. Wu who has got to have some of the worst bedside manner and roughest hands out there. She was incredibly pushy and rude, and made me feel like crap for not wanting to do more work than originally agreed upon and getting a a second opinion. I have since had said tooth that also needed a root canal done, fitted with a filling, their horrible crown replaced, and a renewed fear of the dentist thanks to them. Oh and stuck with a 3k bill for a crown that wasn't even done right

Everyone there is relaxed, polite, pleasant and will help the patient with any anxiety, etc. We recommend them without any reservations. My husband and I can't continue with Dual Arc Dental because they no longer submit the full bill to the insurance company and after that amount is paid the patient pays the balance. Sometimes we cannot afford to pay up front so we located another practice recommended by a friend which will submit the bill to our insurance and allow us to pay the balance. We understand that Dual Arc made a business decision and we wish them the best. Try them and you will be impressed with the high level of dental help.

I called in to schedule an appointment in the mid-May, and I told them very clearly I have Tricare dental and asked them if they accept Tricare. They said yes they do accept Tricare and then set up my appointment on June 22. I showed up and checked in, then the front desk asked me to pay $100 copay, I told them Tricare covers 100% on the annual exam and x-ray and cleaning twice a year. Then they told me oh we are NOT in the Tricare network and you need to pay a copay $100! WHAT!!! WHY DID NOT TELL ME ON THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED THE FIRST TIME???!!!! I said then I do not want to proceed with the appointment and about to walk out, the manager saw that I was about to leave, she said oh I can just bill your insurance and waive the copay, since you are already here, I do not want to turn you away. We will just do the x-ray and you can take the images to another dental which is in the network. I accepted and proceeded with the x-ray. I was SO WRONG!! I really really should have left! Later of the day I found another dentist on Tricare Dental Program website and called them and told them what happened earlier today. I was told that: 1) they would need to do their own full mouth X-ray and not accepting what other dentist has done due to liability 2) Tricare only covers full mouth x-ray once every year, I would need to pay out of pocket for the second one. This place wants to make money so bad that they totally abused my insurance coverage! They knew clearly I had Tricare and they could not do any cleaning or needed treatment for me! Even they waived the $100 copay but they submitted $$$ claim to my insurance! Yeah, they got paid from insurance! Now I have to pay for another X-ray out of pocket! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING PLACE!!!

Dental work can be stressful and challenging but this staff restored my faith in dentistry. The customer service was AMAZING!!!! Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. I had a pretty complicated situation and had to undergo a lot of procedures and these guys/gals are the real deal. Due to swelling from the extraction, the flipper was extremely uncomfortable and painful. I was told to give it a couple of days and return for an adjustment. I live in Canyon Lake and don't normally travel to the Cibolo area, so getting back during their office hours was difficult. A dental assistant suggested I stop by whenever I was in the area. When I did, they sanded the flipper. I specifically asked the front desk if I would be charged and was told no. I paid my bill in full. About a month later, I received a bill for $141 for the insurance balance, which I paid. Then in late January, I received another bill for $40, stating that because I didn't have a scheduled appointment and was seen as a walk-in for the flipper adjustment, I was being charged. This was never disclosed to me at the time of service, and I would not have agreed had I been told. The inconsistent billing and lack of transparency were frustrating. I recommend confirming all charges in writing before agreeing to follow-up care.

I am absolutely obsessed with this place! From the moment we walked in (my boyfriend and I) until…read morethe moment we left, everyone here made us feel like actual celebrities with VIP treatment but you can tell they do this for absolutely everyone of their customers. Robinson and Christie greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. Everyone was so sweet and so incredibly caring in making us feel comfortable and making sure we were okay at every second. I know going to a dentist can sometimes be scary and extremely uncomfortable but if you are worried about those two things, as I initially was, just know you will be in AMAZING hands here. My dental hygienist, Sydney, (pictured above) took the time to explain all types of things to me so I would better understand how to truly take care of my teeth and also told me some pretty awesome stories to keep my mind off of what was happening. They also made sure to give me a neck pillow and blanket as I was cold and nervous which made me feel so comfortable and homey. I literally felt l like I was visiting my family and I truly mean that. Also, if you get anxious or panicky like I do when anything is involving dental work, they have this really cool machine which I am blanking on the name, but it really helps you calm down and not been as worried about what is going on in your mouth. The dentist I saw was also really great and gentle and took the time to see what was going on with me. You could tell he really cared and wanted to make sure I was okay. Not once did I ever feel like they only saw me as a dollar sign (which I have felt at other dentist places before) and they saw me as a human being in which they really wanted the best for. Lastly, the reason I picked this place to begin with, is because the owners of this place also take place in doing charity dentistry for others in developing countries. I only want to spend my money at places in which my money could also help others so this was a huge one for me. Everything else was just icing on the cake!! I cannot believe I have never experienced this type of dentist office before and now that I have had a taste of the good life, I could never go anywhere else! The dentist sat next to me explained everything in detail, he took time with me and my procedure and I was cared for that same day. I had calls after I left to check on my condition post procedure. All medications that I needed were filled and picked up PRIOR to me leaving the office. I have never experienced a team so wonder careful.
