Sometimes we cannot afford to pay up front so we located another practice recommended by a friend which will submit the bill to our insurance and allow us to pay the balance. We understand that Dual Arc made a business decision and we wish them the best. Try them and you will be impressed with the high level of dental help.

I called in to schedule an appointment in the mid-May, and I told them very clearly I have Tricare dental and asked them if they accept Tricare. They said yes they do accept Tricare and then set up my appointment on June 22. I showed up and checked in, then the front desk asked me to pay $100 copay, I told them Tricare covers 100% on the annual exam and x-ray and cleaning twice a year. Then they told me oh we are NOT in the Tricare network and you need to pay a copay $100! WHAT!!! WHY DID NOT TELL ME ON THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED THE FIRST TIME???!!!! I said then I do not want to proceed with the appointment and about to walk out, the manager saw that I was about to leave, she said oh I can just bill your insurance and waive the copay, since you are already here, I do not want to turn you away. We will just do the x-ray and you can take the images to another dental which is in the network. I accepted and proceeded with the x-ray. I was SO WRONG!! I really really should have left! Later of the day I found another dentist on Tricare Dental Program website and called them and told them what happened earlier today. I was told that: 1) they would need to do their own full mouth X-ray and not accepting what other dentist has done due to liability 2) Tricare only covers full mouth x-ray once every year, I would need to pay out of pocket for the second one. This place wants to make money so bad that they totally abused my insurance coverage! They knew clearly I had Tricare and they could not do any cleaning or needed treatment for me! Even they waived the $100 copay but they submitted $$$ claim to my insurance! Yeah, they got paid from insurance! Now I have to pay for another X-ray out of pocket! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING PLACE!!!

But why run a dentist office if you don't have basic equipment? They automatically opted to pull his tooth (alongside a root canal) yet when I took his to another establishment, they questioned why that would even be an option. They said that was very unprofessional and morally not right for the life of his tooth. I'm just sharing my personal experience.... I went in for a cracked tooth knowing I probably needed a root canal. Find out they only do them once a month there when the endo is in...they were booked two months out. The charge for one crown and a root canal was over 3k. Temp crown fell out within two days. When I finally went in for the root canal (never had one and was extremely nervous and they knew this and it was noted in my file, that I was difficult to numb) had to stop the endo twice, once because I had a literal panic attack in the chair, again because I could feel everything. The root canal itself after they got me properly numb was fine. But before the root canal they tried to tell me all the sudden I needed a second root canal next to that tooth and one on the other side. I was not having it. The crown itself is a horrible gaping fit. It protrudes outward much further than any of my other molars and the bite is horrific. I ended up having my cosmetic dentist replace the crown because it was such shoddy work. The crown portion was done by Dr. Wu who has got to have some of the worst bedside manner and roughest hands out there. She was incredibly pushy and rude, and made me feel like crap for not wanting to do more work than originally agreed upon and getting a a second opinion. I have since had said tooth that also needed a root canal done, fitted with a filling, their horrible crown replaced, and a renewed fear of the dentist thanks to them. He is very knowledgeable and listens to what you say and ask and gives you options when those are possible. I will be going to Dr. Kuhl and his staff for many years to come. I was happy to continue my relationship with Dr. Garza. I recently changed my Medicare Advantage program. After a couple of months I attempted to schedule an appointment with Dr. Garza and found he did not accept my new plan. I changed my plan back to UHC so I could retain him as my dentist. Excellent service deserves loyalty and at 79 he will be my dentist as long as I live and have the teeth he takes such good care of.

She was there every moment and catered to my every need. She was so polite and knew her business keeping me comfortable. Meanwhile Dr Chavez was carefully working on the extraction. Told me jokes to ease my mind but I had no pain other than having to keep my mouth open. I just knew that when I got home and the Novocain wore off I would be in pain but didn't happen. Dr Chavez gave me some steroids to help the healing of the gum where he had to put in a couple of stitches. On a budget I went in search of an affordable dentist. He caught my attention by having his prices…read morelisted on his website and even though it was a bit of a drive for me it was so worth it. A couple weeks ago a tooth on my right side started to hurt. After trying to deal with it for a few days I decided to go see Dr. Rapanotti to get my tooth pulled. I was seen pretty quick once I arrived and was advised that I needed to get rid of the infection before he could go in there to take the tooth out. I was so nervous but this guy is so personable that I was not worried for too long. Xrays, antibiotic and pain scripts, and an appointment for next week was given within 20 minutes. I left feeling really good about everything. Today I came for my appointment and once again I was scared. I hate needles but he was quick and kept my attention off of it that I honestly barely felt anything at all. Tooth was extracted with no pain. He's full of good humor and is super nice. His office staff and assistant were great too. I left paying less than $160 with no insurance! He's getting all my family's future business!
