I had a horrible experience with Bumper Globe. Communication was terrible from start to finish, hard to get updates, and when I did, they were not accurate. They had my car for 12 weeks giving me no updates. The work itself was poor quality and didn't solve the issues I brought my car in for. The first time I went to pick up my car, I pointed out multiple issues where the work was incomplete, pieces were falling off my car and not secured well, or not fixed at all. The doors they replaced were not even painted completely and they left the inside of my car a disaster. They have since been completely unresponsive when I tried to follow up. I have had to go through my insurance company to hear any news. I selected them doing searches on Yelp and Google and realized when I went to pay for the work, they off discounts if you leave a 5 star review... so that is why it looks like a good option. I recommend going anywhere else in the area. They apparently require that you pay in cash, which they never told me until I was there picking up the car, and then I did not have that amount of cash in hand, told me they could only use a card with a surcharge. Absolutely would never recommend any work from them. read more

Brought my car in for an estimate a few weeks ago. There was what I considered minor damage on the front bumper. My eyes bugged out of my head when I saw the estimate but given I wanted the car fixed by a reputable company, I set up a time to bring my car in for the repairs. I was given a 3-day window for completion and got a call back by the end of the 2nd day to come get my car. Checking out was easy and before I knew it, I was out in the lot looking at my car. Not only were the repairs flawless, I believe my car has been washed...at least rinsed off. The overall repair, while not cheap, is immaculate. I hope to be more careful in the future and have no more fender benders, but if I do, I'm coming back to Bumper Globe! read more

Great communication & very friendly staff!! Definitely will go here again. I brought my car in for a Maryland Vehicle Inspection. They had to fix my bumper and a few other things. They sent me an initial invoice and said that I could save a few hundred dollars by not having the paint job done. I opted for no paint job and they sent an updated invoice. They explained all of the things that had to be fixed clearly. I was never left guessing, unlike my experience at a Firestone! I went here for my Maryland State Inspection for my car and I was really pleased with the service. They're located at the edge of Fed Hill (very close to my apartment) which made dropping my car off super simple. The customer service was great. Compared to other repair shops and dealerships in the area I believe their price for an inspection is one of the cheapest if not the cheapest. They provided all the necessary certification paperwork and I was overall really pleased with this experience. The person who helped me at the front desk (I wish I remembered his name but he is a man who is deaf/hard of hearing) was so kind and helpful to accommodate my tight schedule to get the inspection done before I had another appointment. I appreciated their willingness to help even while juggling several customers/customer issues at once. My only criticism is that this place is difficult to reach by telephone so you can't make an appointment, but that wasn't an issue for the services I needed and they are easy to work with just by walking in. Also, I think once you are getting work done the specific mechanic working on your vehicle contacts you directly so that probably isn't an issue for customers. read more

Bumper Globe is Amazing!!!! I'd contacted a company with lots of tv advertisement to have my passenger window replaced, scheduled an appointment online on Tuesday, appointment on Friday. I arrive and I'm told they need to order the window and it wont arrive until Monday...Monday comes and it still isnt in. Didn't arrive until Wednesday. I called Bumper Globe and spoke with Amy over they phone, visited on Tuesday and discussed my issue with Jonathan. Bumper Globe had to order the window as well. I got a call the following day saying that my window had come in. Less than 24 hours after I visited Bumper Globe I was driving out with my window replaced. Taken my cars here three times now and every time I have been met with a professional attitude. I primarily worked with Kary (the owner) and his attention to detail with the assessment and the technicians quality of service have been superb. He pointed out a few blemishes/scuffs in my paint and buffed them out for nearly nothing. I don't sense he is in the business of getting every dollar he can out of you as there have been two different occasions where he recommended a solution/option of a lower price. An example of this was when they repaired my carbon fiber splitter for a couple hundred dollars instead of replacing it for $1000+. A notably high, and uncommon level of professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail at this body shop. I looked at a number of favorable online reviews of this shop and decided to take my 2013 Civic to repair a badly scratched hood. I was treated pleasantly and was given a detailed, written quote which was significantly lower than quotes I received from two other auto body shops. It was estimated to take three days to repair and I was diligently updated with emailed photos of my hood being painted and fixed on days 2 and 3. I was timely notified that I could come and pick up my car, which when I arrived at the shop, looked astonishing! The previous damage was not visible at all as the hood looked pristine, and they also thoroughly washed and cleaned the car as well. The paint looked spotless and indistinguishable from the time that the car was brand new. I could not be happier with the job they did, and was very impressed by the straight forwardness and level of transparency during the entire process. This was my first experience using Bumper Globe and they are phenomenal. Someone else hit my car so I had to go through their insurance company to get my bumper replaced. I took it to Bumper Globe simply because it was closest to my home and work. I worked with Amy Comet at the desk and she was super helpful and very sweet. All I had to do was give her the estimate papers the insurance company gave me and she took care of everything else. My original estimate at Bumper Globe was for more than the insurance company's estimate, so the check they wrote was for $200 less than BG's original estimate. The insurance company didn't write the check to cover the mud flaps on my bumper, but Bumper Globe put new ones on anyways for no charge just because it would look better with the shiny new bumper. They had my car done in 1 day and it was scheduled as a 2-day repair. When I picked my car up, it was washed and detailed. They cleaned out any trash, tidied up, put any lose things such as my dog's leash in the glove box, vacuumed and everything- it is spotless! They even filled my tank up with gas! When I was checking out, they gave me all my paperwork in a folder and the warranty for my bumper. They also sent me off with a little bottle of touch-up paint to match my car in case any dings come about. This is above and beyond customer service and I am one happy customer! I've been going through a lot lately - work is hectic, I just moved in the Baltimore area recently, and my car got hit in the middle of the night. I did not have the information of the one who caused the incident, as they just drove away after hitting my car. I had to rely on my insurance company and a trustworthy repair shop. I went to Bumper Globe and a few other shops to get estimates to repair my car. The scope of the repair was to replace my driver's side mirror and a few other major dings and scratches. The part that I was worried about was that my mirror has many features, like turn assistance and turn signal indicators. I assumed right off the bat that this was going to be expensive. Robin at the front desk was AWESOME and extremely helpful - from walking me through the repair process and how best to work with my insurance company. She explained how they create estimates based on estimated hours (and the type of chargeable hours), cost for parts, and so forth. She walked me through all of my options - I could have gotten a brand new part for my make and model, I could have gotten after-market parts, or even used parts. These options are not available at all shops, as it takes some dedicated research to find used parts. She was transparent with those costs, showing me where she orders them from and how much the parts cost from the supplier. Because my life was so hectic, it was hard to stay on top of things and put time into filing my insurance claim and determining the best route to get my car repaired for the most affordable price and for the quickest turnaround. Robin understood my urgency and my budget, and suggested the best route to take in a very proactive manner. I felt once I had an understanding, she got right to work with procuring parts and scheduling the work. All I had to do was sign, and because she was so transparent, I felt comfortable doing so. The cost was right in the same ball-park as every other estimate I collected, even the insurance adjuster's estimate. I have confidence it was beyond fair. What made Bumper Globe the easy choice was how much I trusted them, how quickly they could turn the work around, their reputation, and their ease of transaction. Whenever I have any issues with my car, I'm calling Robin at Bumper Globe. Don't over-look this place because the name of the shop, they have folks in there who can do anything you need to get your car fixed up (I needed my car's computer to be re-calibrated to work with the new rear-view mirror). Went there once and everything looked fine at first. I got the panel repaired on the driver door. Price was about same as other quotes. Eventually the trim around the window started rusting. I didn't think anything of it, though I probably should have investigated. It did cross my mind that it was the same door they "repaired", and it was a little fishy it was the only one rusting. I take it to another repair shop-I'm in Texas now-lo and behold, Bumper Globe forgot to put the plastic film back on the trim to prevent rusting. It is a $300 repair because of them. I understand people are not perfect, but this is a rookie mistake. read more

These guys are a life saver. Not only where they very courteous and friendly, they worked with me to get less expensive parts and sent me text with **photo updates** most days. I asked for it to be done by Thursday, which Amy said she couldn't guarantee but thought it could be done by Wednesday night or Thursday morning. It was done Wednesday morning!!! Not only did they take care of why I brought it in, which i have to say looks GREAT, while they were painting my side panels they saw I had a scratch on my side door and took care of that. First they told me it was ready when it wasn't, then they wouldn't get back to me, and then when they did, my car wasn't even working properly. The only good thing I'll say is at least the scheduler was apologetic about my experience...however, apologies don't get back hours of my wasted time. I was called on a Monday and was told that all that was left for my car was a paint job and that it would be ready on Wednesday. Since I had a work event Wednesday, I asked if I could pick it up Thursday and was told that would be no problem. I return my rental car and arrive at the shop on Thursday and before I walk in the shop I see my car with no bumper on. I asked the woman who I'd been in contact with why my car wasn't ready and she said "did I tell you it was ready?"....well yes, I think when you confirm with me on the phone that I can pick it up on Thursday, that means it's ready. She says "oh, well I tell all my clients to call and make sure before they pick it up". Clearly you do not tell that to all your clients since I was never told to call again at the time I was told I could pick it up Thursday. I had to wait over an hour for another rental car to be dropped off. She tells me the shop was behind and it would be ready on Friday. I learned my lesson and did not want to show up on Friday without calling first. I called and left 2 voicemails and was never called back. I called again Saturday and left another voicemail. Finally I get a call back on Saturday saying they actually have more work to do, and it would be ready on Monday. On Monday I arrive and get into my car and immediately my seat controls don't work. Suprise: they don't have the fuse that's needed to fix the issue and I have to wait another day. Pushing my estimated pickup date back, on top of not answering or returning my calls after they stress to double check with them on the car status, on top of not having my car in complete working order when I did pick it up really put a bad taste in my mouth. Take your business elsewhere. read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would. They were amazing in all aspects of the repair. I had an awful dent in my front bumper. I told them once it was fixed, I was going to sell my car. They made sure every detail was absolutely perfect, and gave me the best price out of everyone I looked at. Jessica called me throughout the process with any updates, and gave me honest answers. I am brand new to the area and had a very minor "repair" that needed taking care of - a small part of the splash guard on the undercarriage of my car came loose and was scraping the pavement on curbs, etc. I called and they told me to come over so they could see it and they ended up tacking it back in place in 5 minutes and sent me on my way free of charge. AVOID AVOID AVOID Dear friends, days after the Charlottesville terror (and other horrific events in the past several years) I experienced a terrifying experience with an extremely hostile business owner who threatened to "stand his ground and protect himself from me and people like me" while attacking my character and threatening my life. I was alone in a room full of men, and they had my car keys. I asked him how he could use that exact phrase days after all of the craziness in the news, and he said it again, with direct eye contact. The business was caught trying to overcharge me/Geico for a minor cosmetic repair that was fully covered under my policy(someone had hit my car door in my work parking garage). Geico processed the claim and paid the company for a lower amount than they wanted. When Geico rejected additional charges the business requested, the owner was very angry with me. . I left the place in tears and shaking in fear and anger. My car is home safely and I am too. If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do, please help. Days later, and I'm still in shock over this.
