While this spot isn't too large, they have a nice outdoor spot which is great for the summer but they also have heaters for the winter which make it more comfortable when it's not too cold. The drinks aren't too expensive compared to other bars which I appreciate. read more

I visited here with my sister after her birthday dinner. We arrived to nice, strong drinks and an ample amount of seating as I was with someone who needed a seat. We made our way towards the back which was kind of an in between of outside and were able to seat comfortably to enjoy our drinks, music and some chat. The space is on the smaller side, so it fills up quickly and there's not much seating. There is a cute patio out back, but unfortunately you can't hear the music out there, which is a bit of a letdown. One big tip: take an Uber. Parking in the area is a total nightmare. read more

Music was good. Place was comfortably occupied upon arrival, meaning seats were available, beverages were easier to order and be heard by the bartender. And then something occurred which happens at strategically placed and heavily frequented venues--a throng of people poured in! And the place got so packed you could barely move. And that was my exit cue. But it was fun while it lasted. Drinks were okay. Price was typical New York price--too expensive! But the ambiance was cool. read more

Nice spot on Broadway not far fom Myrtle Ave. The owner was there making drinks, serving beer and talking to the patrons. The bar is a good size. The hooks for your bags are under the bar which is always a plus. The outdoor space is beautiful and relaxing. There is a restroom upstairs and downstairs in the yard. You can bring or have food delivered. The background music was at a good level. I had the Interboro IPA and the New Belgium both were refreshing and on tap. My coworker had whiskey and ginger ale. The only thing I think needs improvement is the happy hour sign should have Buntons name on it to advertise the name of the bar. Good vibes. I will be back. read more

I first went to Bunton's because of a post on the Black Owned Brooklyn IG page where they boasted having the "world's greatest pina colada." When someone makes a claim to have the best of something, the only appropriate response is to go test that out, right? Right. So I called up a friend that's always down for an adventure and made tracks that way. Well, that was back in May and I've been back many times since then. It's actually made it's way on my list of places I have to take out of town guests. And yes, it's all off the strength of the tastiness of that pina colada! Even my dad was impressed. They're frozen, incredibly smooth, not too sweet, heavy on the coconut, and served with a nice dark rum float. Seriously, they're perfect. If you for some odd reason don't like pina coladas (weirdo!), then you can come for the great music, availability of indoor and outdoor seating, and nicely mixed drinks. In the evenings, this place really comes alive, so if people aren't your thing, I'd suggest a visit during happy hour when it's less crowded. read more

This spot is a vibe! As if the indoor area isn't spacious enough, there's ample room to chill outside as well. The playlist was banging too! I could've hung out there all day. As for cocktails, they don't have a specific drink menu, so get creative! They have a full shelf and very talented bartenders. I said I wanted something with rum, so the bartender made me a delightful rum punchy drink. And I was told to try their Pina Colada. I grew up having Pina Colada-flavored things and was never a huge fan. As such, though I know the drink itself is different, it has discouraged me from enjoying the drink on the few occasions I was able to. Despite all this, I have to say that it was the best Pina Colada I have ever had. I personally feel like it was more coconut than pineapple, but that's FINE! And that buttery rum float on top seeped through the rest of the drink and just made it taste phenomenal. I would love to see what the place is like during its peak -- I'm sure it's a grand time! So... Long story short. We had decided to stay in for NYE and then last minute decided to step out for some low-key drinks. As we were in BK, we stopped by Bunton's as we saw it on Instagram... So we go, SO MUCH FUN! The DJs were incredible, playing a good mix of old and new. The staff was super friendly too. We got to meet the owner and he was super kind and let us know more about his place. As midnight passed, a few of us went outside on their backyard patio to call our loved ones. With surprise and personal offense I was ask, no demanded I relinquish my bar sit. Because of profit interest, not because I was "nursing" one drink. A Button employee, told bar sitting customers to give up their seats. There was a disregard for those, like myself, sitting having a drink. The bar strict policy needs to be reconsidered. What if those at the bar was physically challenged. Instead of demanding customers be relieved of their bat seat, why don't Buttons give up their torrential rule. read more

He served the best burgers I've had in a minute AND he's a professional who's respectful and does care of his customers (guy actually asked what i wanted and if i wanted to change anything). Buntons has always been a great spot for a night out (mainly on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday) but having the food at KitchenTime and bartenders like Kevin (def recommend him) will ensure a perfect time. I came here with my best friend for a catch up since we haven't hung out in a while. It was very chill and the bartender was awesome. After reviewing some comments and pics on Yelp, I ordered the piña colada because everyone was raving about it. While it did not taste like any piña colada I've ever had, it wasn't the best. Not bad, but not great. After that, I ended up getting this green drink that looked really good; I think it's called the monsoon. Now that was a drink! I liked that one a lot and ordered another one before we left. It sucked they didn't have food or else we would've stayed there for the rest of the night. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars, in my opinion, is that they don't have a drink menu. Been here two times. Once on a date, another time with a friend. The vibe in here is good for both lol. There's also a DJ/good music playing here. A mix of reggae, afrobeats, and hip hop usually on rotation. Drink prices are regular for NYC. The two times I visited, there were only one or two bartenders working that struggled to keep up with the demand. I really like this new bar! It just opened a month ago, and they have really great drinks and ambience. I ordered the first drink on their menu which had sorrel in it. My family is Jamaican, and sorrel is my favorite drink. I asked him to add ginger to mine, and he was so accommodating to me! Bunton (the owner) is really friendly and he had great stories. Chill bar that is conveniently located in Bushwick in walking distance from Bed-Stuy. When it gets crowded, the bartenders can be overwhelmed but overall, the service is good. The crowd is laidback and it's an overall enjoyable time. read more

Bunton's has a sexy vibe. It's the kind of place that might be in a scene of Insecure where Issa's on a date or even catching up on some bff time with Molly...if you know you know. The happy hour was great. I had a pina colada topped with rum for just $7. But if frozen drinks aren't your thing they also have options like beer, wine, prosecco and well drinks. They don't serve food but they do you allow you to bring your own which I love. All in all it's super solid. I love that it's Black owned and I can't wait to come back to enjoy the atmosphere, good music, drinks and overall smooth vibe. the only thing I liked about this place was the backyard patio part....the only thing!!!! they had non of the drinks on the specialty drink list! none! I wanted a frozen hurricane bartender told me they didn't have it....went down the list on the bar menu she said they don't have any of those...she offered no other options and just looked annoyed...i ordered a frozen margarita tasted awful!! So we finally left a 9:30 and there was a damn line to enter the place...why? I saw this place on my way home on a Friday and decided to give this place a try. They have a great happy hour menu. I was so satisfied with the service and drinks that I came the next day (saturday) with my husband. That night they had a pop up from Arcadian Pastures which they served beef sliders, Mexican corn and something else that had salmon in it. The sliders were very good. It was definitely more crowded this Saturday night compared to after work on Friday but that didnt take away from the great service. We had their infamous Coladas which were really good. We watch the fight on their TV screen and the DJ was rocking. They have a beautiful outside patio in the back which was a nice space to chill. I met some wonderful people including the owner. I can definitely see myself being a frequent visitor at this local spot. read more

Since the pandemic has started, its gets a little too crowded on the weekends and I'd say it's not worth waiting on the long line, but definitely come during the less busy times like midweek or a Sunday.
