Drove out to try this coffee shop on a Saturday afternoon. It was packed. We settled in and enjoyed some coffee and offerings until we were informed the place was closing at 3 pm. When I asked why, I was told for remodeling and because they are short staffed. Neither made sense. I believe I saw 3 or 4 employees and while there could have been remodeling behind the scenes, we watched them close up and saw the employees all leave. We had to go find another coffee shop, but it made me wonder, if I was the owner of this coffee shop I would want to verify they were not closing early just to go play. ***revized review*** Business reached out to explain they are making improvements and scheduling those is tricky. It would be great to update on Yelp, which is how we decided on this coffee shop (based on closing time). Coffee and offerings we had were very good. Tea pot served on a tray with a cozy over the pot. We had the bacon cheese quiche-so tummy-light and savory. The lattes were perfect-I had a sugar free vanilla and it tasted like a marshmallowy rich flavor. So good. Water urn and cups for self serve. Sodas and Perrier chilled available. Summary Very busy coffee shop-great atmosphere, outstanding service, variety of coffees, teas, pastries, savory items. My friend loved it so Much she is bringing her husband for a date. I've been here a few times over the years and generally have really enjoyed myself. I usually go for sweeter drinks or lattes, and they've always been really solid. On the occasions I've gotten espresso or a cortado, I've enjoyed those too. They mostly offer medium to dark roasts here with the exception of their token light roast for iced coffee--personally, I prefer medium roasts in sweet drinks, and medium to light for plain espresso, but that's just me. The ambience and seating are really great. They've managed to create a very homey, comfortable vibe that makes it easy to settle in. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming, and the drinks I've gotten have been consistently very good. Would definitely recommend checking out the spot!! read more

Over a decade since I've reviewed this spot... nuts! I don't come too often as its not in my neighborhood, but I have enough business and friends and errands that take me in this direction; I've been known to stop in. And very recently at that. I'm always pleased to see upon each visit that really nothing has changed. The layout and seating (lots of seats/tables and almost always busy). Going here takes me back far beyond my last 2013 review; it takes me to my 2007ish college days when I'd come here for so many open-mic nights, hehe. Ohhh to be young(er) again. On my latest visit I was excited to order a gluten free pastry. They had 4 different gluten free options, yesssss, although I kinda wished at least one was savory (but truly I'm grateful they had anything at all). I tried the berry crumble bar which was completely fantastic. Super crumbly and crunchy, sweet and tart. They warmed it up for me, too. I also had a regular ol' iced latte with vanilla and caramel. I just can't complain, Buon Giorno's coffee has always been so so good and their staff so so nice. read more

I love the coffee at this place, the ambiance is nice, and the staff are friendly. However, recently, I've been having issues with this place not opening at the stated time. I'm sure others are like me and plan their mornings to a strict schedule and unfortunately, I've had to adjust my schedule when this place isn't available. Today, I stayed about 40 mins past the time it was supposed to be open before I decided to call it quits. Been coming here for a while. Used to come here every time I had a service appointment at the nearby Subaru. I no longer have a Subaru but I still come here sometimes when I'm in the area. It has gotten more popular over the years and I often find it pretty full when I visit now. The seats and atmosphere are comfortable with indoor seating stretching through the back and outdoor patio seating spilling over to a couple of parking spots. There's a mix of seating, mostly consisting of 2-person tables, with a couple of 4-person tables and some sofas and chairs. There's a toy bin for little kids in the back area. There's a good variety of coffee drinks and sweet or savory pastries. Everything I have tried has been good. Alternative milk options are oat or almond. Cute spot, we busy on a Saturday morning. I got there around 10, and the line got REALLY long behind me, so I was glad to get there when I did! I ordered an oat milk latte with just a small pump of sugar free caramel, although they missed the small pump, so it was too sweet for me- kinda disappointing, but I still drank it. The lemon poppyseed muffin was TO DIE FOR. I met my friend here to go over some work business. I had never been but knew that they had wifi and plenty of seating, to go along with their selection of beverages and nibbles. The seating WAS comfortable and we got our work done. The coffee was great. It was a good pull, not bitter and the perfect temperature. I just had a latte, nothing fancy. It seemed a bit tame for three shots, but it may just be their roast. It was tasty. They had a good amount of people there working an hanging out. I am very surprised by how underwhelming this coffee spot was, with the amount of reviews they had and how full it was I would've expected amazing coffee, delicious food and good service but my Americano was bland and weak, I ordered a sausage brioche and it was cold the cheese wasn't melted, they really need a toaster is something better to warm their food. The service was not very friendly or helpful when ordering. The tables were dirty and the layout was somewhat hard to walk around. My friend was unable to finish her muffin croissant stating it was not good and she also state her latte was was bland and did not taste good. It's been awhile since I've been to a buon giorno location and I love the homey atmosphere. The barista who took my order was quick and friendly. I ordered the chai tea latte (12 oz.) with whole milk in a small and a blueberry scone. While I waited I perused their merchandise selection of long sleeves, cups, candles, and cards, unfortunately they were out of stickers. chai tea latte was loaded with sugar, milk and chai goodness. I'll try the chai tea with 2% milk if they have that next time or an alternative milk. The blueberry scone was light and crunchy, however needed more flavor. What a cute cafe' and right off the fwy, so easy access. There are lots of seating options in the front area, outside, as well as a cozy section in the back. We tried the Cornish pie along with a chai latte and an iced cold-brew and enjoyed every bit of it! The Cornish pie had a flakey-crispy pie crust filled with ground beef, potato and rutabaga pieces and a hint of garlic. Our drinks were pretty much perfect, sweetened with cane sugar syrup and delivered to our mini table by a sweet and upbeat server. The vibes of this place was very much stereotypical cozy french coffeehouse with lots of cherry wood furnitures and red and brown accents everywhere. I tried their seasonal iced blueberry basil latte and loved how it tasted exactly like its name without being overly sweet. it was like a blueberry muffin with a hint of basil. i did not know that blueberry and basil go together like that! the baristas there were also all really friendly. I have been on the lookout for a different type of coffee experience than what the mobile order zip in and out has been providing me. Someplace I can sit and relax and work on my computer or take a phone call, not feel rushed and also not be the only one in the cafe. Finally made it into Buon Giorno yesterday and it checks all the boxes! Cozy and comfy yes spacious, with plenty of chairs as well as sofas, a diverse group of people age and otherwise, and a great cup of coffee (dirty chai, actually). Service was friendly and prompt and they delivered to my table along with the caprese pastry I ordered as a treat for the day. For those of us of a certain age, they used to call that big coffee chain "the third place" where people would go and connect and spend awhile there. That's the feeling I got at Buon Giorno and I'm so excited to visit again soon! read more

This is a solid coffee spot that my mom has been going to for years since I was younger. They are just such a great cafe and coffee shop with a great ambiance. Food and drinks are frequently enjoyable and well done here. My favorite so far that I've tried is their Tuscany mocha and their cappuccino, both which are just delicious!! Service is always great here. I forgot to take photos but I've also had some sort of berry ginger crumble, and it was sooo good warmed up when they brought it out!! I would come back just for that, and I'm sure everything else is really good here too that I want to try in the future. Rich, unique, perfectly layered coffees. I had a regular drip coffee, Rasparatto Frappe, And super power coffee. Each coffee really stands out on its own and is worth the price, which I'd say is really reasonable especially compared to the big chains like Starbucks- this coffee is much better. This is real coffee that you're going to want to sip and enjoy. Lots of seating inside, to include a little area for kids to read and play. I came here at a recommendation from a coworker. My wife and I came here and we really liked the ambiance of the cute yet quaint coffee shop, and to my surprise it's busier than star bucks. My wife and I had, the drip coffee and it was really good. We were served by a really nice young men Edson, Nixon, and a really sweet young lady Scott. The trio, were inviting, warm, welcoming and kind. They have the best coffee I have and we also shared an orange cranberry, scone with was really delicious. I liked it so much that I took my daughter there and encouraged her to visit it with her friend and as a plus, they also give law enforcement discounts. The trio working there are truly awesome and they worked like a well oiled machine pumping out orders after orders and I didn't notice any unhappy customers. Please, please, go visit this place.
