This place can get loud, but half of the noise is from the workers talking about various trite topics and periodically guffawing. They allegedly filter their water, which is important to do in Southlake due to the many toxins in the public water e.g. arsenic and the nonstick chemicals. I would have given the 3 stars, but when I last visited the barista was more interested in talking to a boyfriend than making drinks for customers. One plus is, they have good pastries. read more

I usually come by here during my lunch time at work because its the closest coffee shop and I love the Dallas location. However, I have been coming here consistently for weeks and it has progressively gotten worse each time. They are severely understaffed and a simple drink takes 5-10 minutes to get without anyone in front of you in line. If there's a line, I have waited 20+ minutes for a drink, that's without ordering food. Today, I came in during my lunch as I normally do and the girl working was sitting in a chair reading a book as if she was a customer. There were dishes everywhere and it looked as though the girl was working alone. She was very rude towards me as if she was annoyed I interrupted her book. Despite my shock, I decided to order anyways since I do regularly come here. I ordered a 16oz iced oatmilk latte with vanilla, half sweet. She responded and said "an iced what?" So I said it again and she then replied by asking "no syrup added?" I told her again for a 3rd time, vanilla 1/2 sweet. She charged me and it was $7.04 which is what I usually pay for my 16oz drink. $7.04 is outrageous for a 12oz and I go to a lot of coffee shops. She makes the drink and I hands me a 12oz. I asked, "is that a 16oz because thats what I ordered?" And she said "you ordered a 12oz." So I asked to see my receipt and she said "we can't print receipts but I can email it to you." At this point, the other girl working is behind the counter (idk her name but she's usually there and very nice) and she tells her coworker that she can show me the receipt. So she turns the ipad around and shows me she charged me a 12 oz even though I asked 3 times for a 16oz. She didn't not apologize or offer to fix the situation. I went to walk out because she was clearly not going to help me and as I was leaving she yells "well, have a good day" in an extremely sarcastic tone. I am guessing she is home from school and its a summer job but honestly, this location really needs better training, TLC and oversight. It seems they hire whoever and fail to train them because they all seem to hate working there. I won't be coming back here because of the terrible customer service and if you're looking for a midday pick me up, I'd choose somewhere else so you're not in a bad mood going back to working. Hopefully these things will change. read more

I was excited to return to Sip Stir in Westlake after our great experience last time but ended up very disappointed with yesterday's visit. Neither person working showed interest in being there, barely replying when asked a question or even when we simply said thank you. There was little to no personality shown by either person. When I ordered my iced chai, I stressed that I wanted it really, really strong and even told the girl at the register how the guy had made it last time. Did that happen? Nope. Regular iced chai with little flavor. I was really disappointed. My fiancés hot chocolate was great, however. The restrooms were clean-ish but one had no toilet paper and both trash cans were completely full. This was early in the day so I would have expected them to be clean and stocked. Based on yesterday's experience, it is unlikely that we will return. read more

There are plenty of places to park in the plaza. Sip stir has a beautiful patio with plenty of seating. The interior of the coffeeshop has plenty of places to sit as well. I ordered the chai tea latte and it was delicious. There was a balance of sugar and milk which I appreciate. The barista was attentive and quick with the order. Great hidden coffee house in Westlake! Great atmosphere and staff. Is attentive and friendly. My friend recommended this place and he said they had great coffee and a laid back vibe and he was right. There is plenty of parking and nice outdoor seating area as well. Lots of people there were working or just visiting with friends, but the place is large enough to not feel cramped. Coffee was fantastic. Lots of places serve bitter coffee but not here. My cappuccino was smooth and served hot. Amazing! Staff was very friendly and knew the menu and offered suggestions as well. Stopped at Sip Stir with our friends during a recent visit to the Fort Worth area, and was delighted with our experience. I was initially overwhelmed by how many unique latte options there were, including vanilla lavender, butter beer and s'mores. I asked the barista how sweet the drinks I was deciding between were, and she gave me a full ranking of sweetness that was incredibly helpful. I went with an iced vanilla lavender and it was exactly what I hoped it would. The space itself is really bright and refreshing with a lot of welcoming charm. And right outside there is a beautiful outdoor space with many tables and plenty places with shade. When we were there on the weekend, there was a lot of parking available in the lot right outside. With the yummy drinks, the great service and the lovely space itself, I highly recommend stopping by! read more

Came in on a Monday morning and it was fairly busy but we were still able to get a table. I got the crème brûlée latte with an almond croissant. Em got the bis-coffee. The crème brûlée was very good!! It even had the toasted sugar on top. The croissant was sweet but delicious! Em thought the bis-coffee was tasty and sweet! The vibes were on point as well! The service for two coffees was 30 minutes for the wait time, although, they told us 15-20. There was no urgency and the 3 ladies were moving at a snails pace. With 3 people and hardly any line, the coffee should have come out before 30 minutes. The place was cute, but the service was horrid. read more

I booked my hotel again in the same spot for work just because this coffee shop is across the street! The staff there is wonderfully friendly and I remembered the girl from last time. She always gives great conversation. My lattes have all been delicious both espresso and matcha. I enjoy the peanut butter apple toast a lot. The place is cute and you could definitely sit in there to get work done (although can get chatty so maybe not meetings). I'm sad I have to leave today and it'll be my last coffee here! read more

Very happy to have something other than Starbucks as an option for coffee drinks! The gentleman who helped me was very kind and willing to help me as I concocted my own beverage on chilly day: a Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate. It was wonderful, not overwhelming strong like the other guys, drinkable immediately, and flavored just enough to enhance the drink. I will definitely be returning. Please stop by and patronize this small business during COVID, but do so responsibly, with your mask, and maybe wait outside until the previous customer leaves (there is a great outdoor seating area right out the front door). read more

I had a late Sunday morning meeting here. I ordered a creme brûlée latte and an everything bagel with cream cheese. The latte tasted good but was like warm at best, the mug was much hotter than the actual drink. Upon ordering I asked the cashier if cream cheese was included or needed to order separate, she said included then I later saw in my receipt that it was a separate charge. The bagel was cut in half both directions oddly enough, like a sandwich being halved. The bagel was cold and stale, they do not heat them before applying cream cheese just fyi. 1/10 for the bagel. Pretty hilarious how you can walk into a business and spot the people behind the counter (girl with curly hair) not wearing their mask over their nose and standing clearly much less than 6 feet apart from her co-worker, yet try and force a patron to wear his mask. I have been to this location twice now and the girl at the counter is not welcoming and has no customer service skills. She had an attitude and it felt like she didn't like us. My friend who frequents there a lot complained to management because our experience was unpleasant 2 times and management did not say anything. It was really disappointing- I never leave a review and have been managing restaurants for 20 years. This place just doesn't make me feel good about buying a coffee from them. Great place to chill out and do a little work either inside or outside in a really nice, relaxing sitting area. Not as hectic as most Starbucks, and while I like the coffee at 151, the blaring music makes it feel more like a high school party that a relaxing place to think straight. Sip Stir is more the chill experience and a lot of times that's exactly what I want. It is vegetarian and that's not usually my preference but the avocado toast and bagels are both really good, and the muffins and GF donuts are exceptionally good. My wife's GF so it's rare to find a treat like those. read more

Only great things to say about this place. I wanted to try out a new coffee shop outside of the Dallas area and found myself in Southlake. There's a location in Dallas that I never cared to visit because it was always so crowded, but I saw this place was pretty new! Came by to give it a try and - wow. The inside is so warm, welcoming, and modern. The barista was very friendly and patient when I asked her about what her recommendations were. The inside seating availability isn't that great, but there's a beautiful deck outside with a colorful setup!! It was windy when I came by so I didn't get a chance to enjoy the patio. I ordered the butterbeer latte and was ready to order another one right after I finished my first cup. It was sweet, but not too sweet to where you can't really enjoy the caffeine. I went by the Dallas location recently and my drink didn't taste the same, so I might make another drive out here :) Plenty of parking and seating (outside lol), friendly staff, and ridiculously good coffee. read more
