The Willapa Bay oysters were served with a tangy mignonette, which was pretty darn good. I can say the lobster roll was good too, as they tasted crunchy and creamy. All in all, great seafood! My main critique is that portions were considerably small for the amount I paid for the food. I left satisfied but not full, so I would not come here if you're craving something more satiating. The restaurant is formatted to be more of a sports bar, good for socialization, drinking and having small bites.

It has big chunks of clam, bacon, and some potato, but unlike many chowders, the clam-to-filler ratio is definitely heavy on the clam. It is simply outstanding. The staff are every bit as impressive as the food. I drove an hour back tonight specifically for their chowder and planned to try the fish and chips as well, only to discover that the power was out and wasn't expected to return until much later. I was obviously disappointed and mentioned how far I had driven. The staff were so kind that they gave me a bowl of chowder to take home and heat up later--on the house! Grilled pineapple, hand made burger, tasty. The waffle fries were great. The only negative is that the burger could have been seasoned more. I had the Tri-tip Sandwich with some onion rings. Really good, but again, a little seasoning would have augmented the sandwich. Service was good, but not as good as the food. Seemed a little understaffed for 5:30 PM. We'll definitely be back!
