First time I have been to the Burbank Town Center. Hello 1975! This is a very dated mall that could…read moreuse some love in spots. Other parts of the mall looked refreshed. Several different retailers from Sears, Macy's, World Market, Body and Bath Works, See's Candies, Victoria's Secret, Vans, Burlington, and dozens of other national and local retailers. There is also an AMC Theater inside the mall. There's not much to their "Food Court" as there are other dining/snacking options throughout the complex. There are 3 levels of shopping and dining. The reason for the 3-star rating is the condition of the mall in certain areas. The management doesn't take really good care of the center. There are out of order elevators with others that needed a good cleaning or an upgrade. See pictures. The center does offer a large garage with free parking. That's very rare in Los Angeles. The garage looks very dated, but it served its purpose, so no major complaints.

Hangar 28 is a very nice shopping center with a large round which would be a nice place to hang out…read morewith some good company. The large outdoor screens would make it a great place to catch some games. While I didn't expect a lone green lantern statue in the center, it is a fun touch to the round. There is a good amount of variety in food and shopping selections in the area, so most groups can find something for everyone to enjoy.

I came to this area in the morning today to stop by Starbucks to get a drink for my wife. But I been to the Blaze Pizza here and Bevmo. I didn't have a great experience at this Bevmo so I never went back. There plenty of parking here or you can just park in the Burbank Empire Center area as well. I believe there a Green Lantern statue here so when I come back I'll look for it.

Alas those days are long gone and my grandpa can no longer drive, a bit sad and a bit nostalgic to look back on, I digress. It's a huge mall and I definitely prefer it over going to the Americana across the street (free parking here and such), but again, it's a huge mall that attracts all around, so parking can get quite busy, especially on the weekends, so keep that in mind. I like that there's an attached Target and lots of shopping and dining options. They have all of the franchises that you find at a standard mall and at a higher end mall too, so you get a good mix of both. There's an Apple Store, Beard Papa (not many of these left sadly), Bath and Body Works, Heytea, Hot Topic, Kura, Lacoste, Lush, Marugame Udon, Miniso, Molly Tea, Pop Mart, the Lego Store (I remember visiting this as a child), Uniqlo, Tokyo Life Style, etc. There's a markedly newer and lively part of the mall and when you go to the periphery, there's a strange mini floor on one of the top floors and the crowds start parsing through. It used to be the only mall where we could get some of these franchises and foods or we'd have to travel more into the OC, but now that the Santa Anita mall has almost every business that I would need, going to the Glendale Galleria is a once in awhile treat if we're already in the area.

After that, we all had dinner together at Kura Sushi. After dinner at Kura Sushi, I decided to pick up another kabob to go for my other brother at home. As I was walking back to Kura Sushi with the food, I passed by the restroom area near the food court and a kiosk that appeared to offer eyebrow tattooing services. A Hispanic female janitor was cleaning the area. My mom had called me and was asking me to come back quickly, so I was walking at a very fast pace with the takeout order in my hand. Suddenly, the female janitor jabbed me in the arm and started speaking angrily in Spanish. I couldn't understand a single word she was saying, and I was completely shocked by her behavior. I assume that because I was walking quickly to get back to my mom, I may not have noticed that she had placed a caution sign and was cleaning that section of the floor. Perhaps I accidentally walked through the area she was working on. Even so, I found it completely unacceptable for someone to jab me in the arm like that. To make matters worse, she kept speaking to me in Spanish, which I could not understand. I honestly thought her behavior was very inappropriate. I simply responded, "Please speak English and do not touch me, OK?" My mom was waiting for me and wanted to leave right away, so I didn't have time to continue the conversation and just walked away. However, the more I think about what happened that day, the more upset it makes me. I sincerely hope I never experience something this unpleasant again. Glendale Galleria should do a better job of training its employees on how to interact respectfully with customers.

But lately it's an necessary evil, I come only when I really need certain items I have to get in stores at Target, Best Buy, Michaels and the dreaded Walmart. Lots of chains which I try to avoid as much as possible. I stopped coming here for dining or donuts at Krispy Kreme as I don't care for them anymore for years now. Much better choices elsewhere. Traffic got congested in the area, I even saw accidents happen. Also, no one wants to give your turn here at Stop signs. It makes it more stressful.

We stopped by the Timeless Luxury jewelry cart where I got a really cute forever bracelet that I love and the price was reasonable. They had plenty of shops and food spots. Also live entertainment. Parking was in as structure and for the three hours we were there it was about $16 dollars. It was a nice evening, I would definitely visit again.

I don't live nearby Burbank. I probably may not return back to this shopping center. Bad: mall is split up with streets running through it, parking is expensive, extremely limited number of stores to actually shop at, majority of stores are located across the Laurel Grove Drive which is quite a walk if you parked in the main lot in the middle of the complex. I only went to Daiso, Five Below, Starbucks because those were the only ones you can shop at in the main part of the mall which is unbelievably weird. It's like this mall had an identity crisis, couldn't figure out if it should be more of an entertainment center (movie theater, restaurants) or shopping center (Daiso, Five Below, Nordstrom Rack). Many vacancies, alot of random stores that you wouldn't go to unless you had or needed to like Spectrum, nail & beauty salons, orthodontist, chiropractor, Verizon, Carbon Health. The main part of the mall is Nordstrom Rack, Starbucks, Daiso, Five Below, LA Fitness. Gnomon (computer graphics, visual effects school) & Regal Cinemas take up the majority part of this section. There seems to be no thought to what a mall shopper would want or wish to go to when they arrive to the heart of a mall. On the "strip mall" area which is across the street and around the corner, there are Ulta, Trader Joe's, mostly cafes, quick bites like Jersey Mike's, Crumbl, It's Boba Time, MOD pizza. Again, only Ulta for someone looking to do mall shopping. Although this mall is modern, clean, great parking structure (expensive but lots of spaces), there's absolutely little to offer. Would I go back?? No way! This is an incredibly disappointing shopping center & if you're hoping to do some retail therapy, go to Sherman Oaks Galleria or Westfield Fashion Square.
