You cannot go wrong with coming to this Burbank Empire Center. You have Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Staples, Lowes, Krispy Kreme, Outback, Olive Garden and many more places to visit. Finding parking should be easy but just be prepared to walk if you park a little farther. I been coming here for a while and still haven't visited all the stores yet. I usually go to the common places like Target, Walmart, Outback and Best Buy.

On a clear day the mountain views are actually really nice too. My only complaint is the parking lot, mainly how it's designed. The layout is a little odd and the restaurant side can get very packed. Sometimes it takes a while to find a spot anywhere close to where I need to go. Half the time I just give up and park further away from where I want to go. Other than that, it's a solid shopping center and I end up here all the time. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the parking situation.

But lately it's an necessary evil, I come only when I really need certain items I have to get in stores at Target, Best Buy, Michaels and the dreaded Walmart. Lots of chains which I try to avoid as much as possible. I stopped coming here for dining or donuts at Krispy Kreme as I don't care for them anymore for years now. Much better choices elsewhere. Traffic got congested in the area, I even saw accidents happen. Also, no one wants to give your turn here at Stop signs. It makes it more stressful.

It has been a while since I'd gone there, up until last night around 6:30 pm. We didn't go out to dinner, but had few things from their cute stands that sell coffee, pretzels, and ice cream. Sat outside to watch the water show that comes on every hour. It is SO beautiful, refreshing on any day, especially during evening time to closing time. They have variety of things to do there. There is everything for everyone to keep them busy. It's breathtaking and just simply wonderful & green all around you. Some of the great places to dine are the Cheesecake Factory, an Italian restaurant called Amici. They have fine, delicious Italian food. Have been there few times, and once on a date. They gave a 2 spirit Barnes & Noble for book lovers, an AMC movie theatre that used to be Pacific Theaters, A Seabutter Sushi restaurant that is very good and romantic with patio seating. They also have the Mexican restaurant Frida.. Just to name a few of their iconic, yet high end businesses. You can walk, take the trolley, take your dogs for a walk, and simply enjoy the fresh air. Their Christmas lighting ceremony is MAGNIFICENT!! Must see!!! I am glad we were able to go there again last night and had a FANTASTIC time!! Service is on point. They are always cleaning the place, plenty of restrooms to use, spotless clean, and you can find parking anywhere in their parking structures and outside. Whatever that you do and spend time and money on, is valuable and SO worth it to me and so many others. 10/10.

I love all the specialty stores there.... such as the NBA store, I had to buy a Lakers jersey with my favorite player, Luka 77! The prices not bad compared to Universal! I don't know how parents do it these days with the price of souvenirs, food, drink! Save up so you don't miss the experience! We found the chocolate emporium which is a steam punk theme! We met Thomas the bartender, I love a bartender who makes you feel special from the time you seat down until you leave! The happy hour was perfect! A glass of Chardonnay for $8. The food was super good there too! No charge to split a salad! We went early before the park was closed so it was nice to have no crowds. If you have any questions, please reach out to me!! Parking varies if on if you have a pass, if you're just going to the theme park, and if you're going to do validation only for City Walk. Though, it's pretty cool that it's reduced after 5 PM (technically you can do this for Disney, and , but it's after 7-ish instead). The scale of everything and the neon lights, and photo ops are much more impressive. Great to look at, at night and this was the location of my senior prom. Wish I had the intellect to just wander around City Walk instead of being forced to be in one of their event buildings only with some of the most cringe people I've met in my life. But I digress. Dining options are tad more limited with more desserts and quick service, standard fast food chains (probably the craziest Raising Cane's I've ever seen), and a couple of sit down restaurants. Neat that they have a Pink's since it's so closely tied to Hollywood history. For shopping, they do have a bunch of businesses that you can find at your local mall like Lids, Hot Topic, Shoe Palace (lol), Tilly's and much more. I think for the must stops and unique shops, it'd be the Sanrio and Hello Kitty Cafe, that chocolate emporium place (insane name), the Line Friends shop, and of course the shop that sells all the merch from Universal Studios. Due to the distance and the cost, it's not a place I'd go out of my way for, but if you're already at Universal or it's after 5 PM, it's worth it as a tourist and to explore.

I've driven by this mall so many times on the freeway & I finally was able to go check it out…read more Good: plenty of parking, spacious walkways, clean, doggie potty area, big movie theater. Bad: mall is split up with streets running through it, parking is expensive, extremely limited number of stores to actually shop at, majority of stores are located across the Laurel Grove Drive which is quite a walk if you parked in the main lot in the middle of the complex. I only went to Daiso, Five Below, Starbucks because those were the only ones you can shop at in the main part of the mall which is unbelievably weird. It's like this mall had an identity crisis, couldn't figure out if it should be more of an entertainment center (movie theater, restaurants) or shopping center (Daiso, Five Below, Nordstrom Rack). Many vacancies, alot of random stores that you wouldn't go to unless you had or needed to like Spectrum, nail & beauty salons, orthodontist, chiropractor, Verizon, Carbon Health. The main part of the mall is Nordstrom Rack, Starbucks, Daiso, Five Below, LA Fitness. Gnomon (computer graphics, visual effects school) & Regal Cinemas take up the majority part of this section. There seems to be no thought to what a mall shopper would want or wish to go to when they arrive to the heart of a mall. On the "strip mall" area which is across the street and around the corner, there are Ulta, Trader Joe's, mostly cafes, quick bites like Jersey Mike's, Crumbl, It's Boba Time, MOD pizza. Again, only Ulta for someone looking to do mall shopping. Although this mall is modern, clean, great parking structure (expensive but lots of spaces), there's absolutely little to offer. Would I go back?? No way! This is an incredibly disappointing shopping center & if you're hoping to do some retail therapy, go to Sherman Oaks Galleria or Westfield Fashion Square.
