The service department doesn't return calls. They have had my vehicle for 2 days and I have no idea what's going on.

Drivers Village did reach out after I sent notice. Although they did not admit fault they did fix my bumper. They stated that they didn't want to loose my business and would fix my bumper. I brough my vehicle in and they provided me with a courtesy vehicle for while my vehicle was being fixed. Overall I am satisfied with what had progressed but I do ultimately wish that this didn't have to be taken as far as it did. read more

Posting for my husband. To my fellow consumers. I send a warning about the service provided to me at Burdick Chevrolet-Buick-GMC. I have been a mechanic for 40+ years and aside from the quality of the services (or lack thereof) that have been provided to me, I am disappointed that I have been continuously lied to. I have continued to take my 2019 Enclave to Burdick Buick, but I feel that the service (?) provided on July 25, 2024, will be the last time I take my Enclave into Burdick for service. To clarify, despite being a mechanic of 40+ years, I no longer do my own work on my vehicles due to back issues. I first began to question the services provided to me in February of 2024. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change and was told there was a major oil leak. This service was covered under warranty, and I did NOT have to pay for it. I keep my vehicle inside my garage at night and have always kept it inside at night. What I found most peculiar about this oil leak is I had not found one drop of oil especially not enough to assume I had a MAJOR oil leak, I don't take pride in much, but my garage floor is clean enough to eat off of. When I received my vehicle back in 3 day's time, I also noted that the that the inside of my engine appeared to be dirty and untouched. They stated they needed to drop the engine down for this "massive leak", in my 40+ years of experience of fixing many oil leaks etc., that would require some "manhandling" of the engine. However, that is just an observation that left me ponding the necessity of the service and if it had even been performed. However, my most recent experience, on July 25, 2024, is what has compelled me to switch servicers and warn my fellow consumers. I brought my vehicle in on July 25, 2024, for an oil change and tire rotation. Out of curiosity, and my having worked for the NYSTA for 35+ years as a mechanic, I marked my rear tires with black Sharpie. After the services (?) were provided, my rear tires still had the black marks on them, which means the tires were NOT rotated. I also noticed that on my bill it said reset tire pressure and upon inspection found that there was a difference of +/- 8 lbs. of pressure between all the tires. Also, it states that they checked all fluids and topped off, if need be, must be that does not include windshield washer fluid because I just had to fill the reservoir. I mentioned that I felt that I couldn't trust the services provided. Makes me wonder if my oil was even changed. After I pointed out that my tires were NOT rotated, Dave Cooley, Service Manager, reached out to me and left a voicemail stating that he wanted to make things right. I have called him now at least twice a day for 2+ weeks now leaving voicemails each time. (politely, despite my frustrations) requesting him to return my call. I am still waiting to hear back from Mr. Cooley, but at this point I am not sure there is anything he could say that he would rectify the situation-IF he ever gets back to me. I'd like to conclude that money is not the driving force behind my gripe, but rather the feeling of being lied to. Fellow consumers, take your business to a different GMC dealer. Burdick Buick is part of the Burdick auto-mall in Cicero. Being a large auto dealership, one would expect to be treated as a number. I have taken my Saturn here a few times for oil changes and once to have the windshield wiper motor replaced. The customer-facing representative is very friendly and greets me by name even before the vehicle is tagged. The work has always been done well and the car is washed after every service. The waiting room for the Buick section is small and right inside the Buick show-room. Free coffee is provided. However, inside the mall area their is a new Panera Bread like cafe where you can get better coffee and food-for pay of course. I have been completely satisfied with all of the work done by Burdick Buick. Even when my car is in need of a repair, the representative tells me the repair in a no pressure way-I have yet to get it repaired. The only reason I could not give it 5/5 stars is because I want my free lunch and to eat it too. read more

Burdick Steps Up In Emergency: My passenger-side mirror [the lens not the housing] came loose and was about to fall off. It was moving so radically that I could not see anything in the right lane. I went right to Burdick Chevy, Buick, GMC and explained to Joe Lincoln, Service Writer, that I could not drive my car because I could see any traffic on the passenger side. He immediately looked at the mirror and then engaged Curt Bacon, Parts Advisor. They came up with a plan to secure the lens to the housing so that no one would ever know there had been a problem. In less than 15 minutes of arriving, I was good to go. I have never had such immediate, responsive and professional work done by a dealership. They are simply the best. I have been going to Burdick Chevy, Buick, GMC for several years and will always be their customer. I brought my 2017 gmc terrain in for a license plate lite lens replacement the mechanic left a 4 inch line of black grease on the drivers seat ( sloppy) chevy and gmc, buick owners do use this people ( mcguire Chevrolet in b-ville would a better alternative) I had my oil change last week by McGuire chevy very nice people read more

I took my car back to Burdick Chevrolet to have them fix the problem causing the anti-freeze smell and to fix the back window that is scratched because they installed the wiper cover incorrectly. They first told me the anti-freeze smell was due to a hose clip that they replaced. The second time they told me it was a crack in the radiator. They said they replaced the radiator. We'll see. As for as the scratch in the back window, hey told me they had to contact GM. When I asked why, they said that it could have been the original wiper blade or cover. I said no, it was your faulty installation. To make a long story short, I told them many people were complaining about the bad service they received at various Burdick dealerships including my mother who...Dave, the "customer service rep." cuts me off and says that doesn't say much. Really? Insult my mother? My father retired from GM. My whole family owns GM cars. We will be using different dealerships in the future for purchases and service. They just don't care about the customer. read more

This was the best experiences my wife and I have had buying a vehicle. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our salesperson at the Chevrolet Dealership was very helpful at locating a vehicle with the options we wanted at a price we were happy with. Her manager did an excellent job explaining different financing options and even found us some additional savings by buying the same vehicle in a different color. We were originally planning to use another dealer, closer to home, for service, but after speaking with the staff and the service manager, we will definitely be back again and again. A few miles is a small price for excellent treatment. read more

Went in for NYS inspection and tire check, as 1 was losing air. I also mentioned a tiny dent and paint chip on the hood of the car I wanted fixed. The whole process took over 2 hours. REALLY??? $30+ for the (nail polish size bottle) paint And I have to fix the paint chip myself?? I've had better service there. read more

Dealership lied to me about my vehicle and has offered no assistance to resolve the issue.

Last year I purchased my wife's 2013 Acadia and leased a 2016 Chevy Pickup, everything went well and we had no problems. This year the registration came up due and when I went to register my Pick Up truck I noticed that the plates on the new registration and the old one (that your office did at lease time) had my wifes plates that are on her Acadia on my registration. When I tried to register my truck under the plates that were on my truck, they said that it was invalid. I went to the DMV and spoke to a supervisor, who is completely dumbfounded on how this could have happened and it has been over a month and she is still trying to get it figured out in there system and going back and forth with the state and DMV trying to resolve this. She suggested that I bring this to your attention. So basically when your office registered my truck with DMV somehow they registered it with my wifes plates. DMV has my truck and my wifes Acadia both linked to her plates on the registration that prints out. My plates that are on my truck are linked to someone other person in NYstates silver Equinox, that DMV is trying to get a hold of to let know of the problem. I am extremely, extremely angry over this as my wife and I have not been able to get our vehicles registered for over a month because of this error in processing. I have been stopped 2 times now, the 1st time I was detained because the police thought i had stolen plates on my vehicle seeing how they are not registered to my truck, after pleading my case and explaining I was let go ( almost and hour later and after sitting in the back of a patrol car). The 2nd time, I was stopped at a registration/inspection check and was and hour and half late to work while I waited for the officers to verify the information, which they were unable to do, but eventually sided with my story and let me go. My wife received a ticket on her vehicle while parked outside at the hospital for an emergency due to her vehicle being un registered because of this whole process. Like I said I am extremely unhappy over this, I understand it was an error on some ones part, but i have to vehicles that I can not technically drive on the road right now, have been stopped 2 times by the police, embarrassed and late to work, ticketed and right now there is still not end date to when I can get this rectified because DMV is having a hard time figuring it out...I paid $99 also to register my vehicle online also and now because it was the right registration vehicle but with the wrong plates I am going to have to re-register mine again, and be out the money, I am glad I stopped there and did not register my wifes vehicle...I was atleast able to put my trucks registration on her Acadia, with the right date and plates, but if she is stopped they will see that the wrong vehicle is attached to it... I spoke with my salesperson, who stated that they would be able to fix this problem if I stopped in and filled out new forms and went with him to the DMV and they would make sure everything was fixed...I was unable to come in the week he talked to me because I used all my vacation time. But when I tried to call him the following week to make an appointment to come in 11/16/17 he never returned my phone call...I then reached out to a manager who sent me an email who asked if everything went ok and if there was something that he could do (phil boskovski) in which I explained everything and he neglected to return my email. Once this is ever rectified I will never shop here again and make sure that my friends and family are aware of this situation, I understand mistakes happen but this had been a HUGE problem, and massive inconvienence because of what has happened with the police and I have had to take off a lot of time from work and spend it at the DMV trying to deal with this, using up what little time off I had left for the year in my vacation bank. I will also be notifying the better business bureau about what happened and possibly a lawyer in getting my ticket and fees taken care of this is unacceptable and to just have this problem ignored has just infuriated me more. read more

As a GM Certified Service Center (but Burdick Automotive) ran now, they tried to tell me that the Valvoline oil they use is Dexos certified for my 2011 Chevy Malibu. Valvoline is not Dexos certified. It only unofficially meets the dexos specifications. I cannot trust that they actually put Dexos certified oil in my car as requested. Also, I had a wheel alignment, tire rotation and wheel balance performed. I heard loud noises coming from my front wheel as I drove own the highway after just leaving the dealer for service. I pulled over and four of my front wheel nuts were very loose. This is not the first time this has happened to me with Burdick Automotive. I had a similar occurrence with my 2000 Mercury Sable years ago. I took some tools out of my roadside kit and tightened the wheel nuts correctly. I then took the car the next day to another local Chevy certified dealer. They also found a few things that should have been picked up by Burdick. I only went to Burdick as they bought out the dealership (Bresee Chevy) who always was A+ in my book. I will be driving across town an extra 20 minutes to another Chevy dealer from now on for my service. Never again with Burdick service, even though I have given them chances again and again with my Sable, Nissan Altima and now my Malibu. read more

If your looking for a trustworthy service department, this isn't it. I brought my Chevrolet Malibu in for a power steering recall (#14116) and the steering is now much worse than when I brought it in. The steering wheel shakes even more than when I first brought the vehicle in (witnessed by a service writer) and the steering is so notchy that the vehicle cannot be driven in a straight line (Could not exceed 40 mph on the drive home). This vehicle should have never been released to me in this condition and the service manager at Burdick Chevrolet could care less. He told the service writer that this wasn't part of the recall and that I would be charged for diagnostics. I would look elsewhere if your concerned about safety. I called Chevrolet Customer Relations and was given a case number. Time will tell if this vehicle is repaired. UPDATE: GM would not cover the cost to have the defective power steering motor replaced. I was charged $400.00 + tax ($432.00) to have this service done. Online blogs concerning this failure of the power steering motor are common and GM is aware of the problem, but looks the other way. read more

They charged me $100 for an estimate that proved incorrect, then refused to refund my money when I provided evidence from another shop who diagnosed the problem correctly. Also, the repair they claimed I needed would have cost me over $500, while the repair I actually needed was around $200! Be sure to get a second opinion if you take your car here. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. They managed to prolong replacing a part that was under warranty until after the warranty expired and when I spoke to the manager about it he was a completely condescending asshole. My wife and I have purchased 3 vehicles here and were in the market to trade one in on top of purchasing another. All our service repairs have been done here as well. Now we will never spend another dime there! Very unprofessional management lost them thousands of dollars over a $60 part. I encourage everyone to support small business owners. Anthony Sesso was the salesman who waited on me at the dealership. He was very accommodating and friendly, even though he was not expecting me. He was very helpful, and did everything he could to get me into the car I wanted to lease, and kept my payments within my budget. I had never leased a car before, and was actually terrified to do it. Anthony alleviated my fears by informing me of options I may have when my lease is up, and told me how to get my vehicle serviced, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend Anthony Sesso to anyone considering a new lease or purchase. He was NOT pushy, he never made me feel uncomfortable and never made me feel pressured to agree to anything, or to purchase a particular vehicle. I honestly did not think leasing a car would be so easy.
