Even though the name sounds like a law firm this is my new favorite burger place in the Boston area. The seasoning on the burg was so unique and the patty was super crisp. It was really good and I inhaled it. The chicken shaw sandwich was also really awesome too, it was very juicy and flavorful. It's unique because I've never had a shwarma burger before but now that I've had it i can't really go back. The service was pretty fast on a thursday evening around 7:30 PM. There's not a lot of seating inside the restaurant but it's close to boston common so you can easily walk and eat there. i cant wait to come back here! read more

One of the best burgers I ever had. Perfect size. Incredibly juicy. Friendly staff. Overall, absolutely amazing. It's a small joint but it packs a crowd. I've yet to come back for the chicken. If you're a first-time guest, they deliver great customer service and give you a sample garlic sauce. The garlic sauce is excellent but too good to go ona burger and doesn't pair well as a result. I rather would have tried their burger sauce or have gone with the chicken swarma to fully appreciate their burger sauce. Not far from our hotel. Highly rated, we thought we would try it. Surprised at how small it was. No place to really sit and eat. We ordered both the burger and chicken. We took it back with us to the hotel and ate there. The burger was good with a good taste. The chicken was also good. I didn't care 100% for the sauce but it was still good. Burg and Shaw is a wonderful addition to the Downtown area. It was a great experience overall with exceptional and friendly customer service from a small shop, particularly from Aadil. The food came out quick and hot and the workers were apologetic for the wait even though it was only about a 5-10 minute wait despite the crowds during dinner. The stack pack is a great deal that comes with both of their sandwiches along with a side of fries (in store deal only). I'd recommend getting a double patty for the burger and while both sandwiches were good, I preferred the smash burger over the shawarma. The eating area is standing room only with two counters so most people take their orders to go. The staff were super attentive to everyone in the store as well, most notably the fact that they remembered everyone's names even after they got their orders. In a food scene saturated with loads of smash burgers, the staff made the place stand out with genuine service and positive customer interactions. They even hand wrote personal messages onto bags for delivery orders. Aside from the food, their ice cream is super distinct with notes of cardamom, cinnamon, and vanilla. Actual fire burgers here. I'm so surprised. They're cheap, too! We got the Burg + Chicken Shaw, which was $18 for both plus fries. Great deal! Chicken Shaw was delicious. Chicken was super flavorful. The buns are nicely browned and full of flavor as well. Loved the sauce! Burg was my favorite. Buns were also nicely browned and delicious. The smashburger was so good and crispy, holy moly. Wow, this place is seriously special!! I've never had a burger quite like this, definitely not anywhere else in Boston, and possibly anywhere else at all. They've perfected the simplicity of their menu, only offering two burgers and of course fries, but the flavors and textures are balanced wonderfully and honestly out of this world! I love the mediterranean take on this spot's flavors which brings a unique and personal-feeling energy to the food and atmosphere, but also do not detract from that classic burger taste, if anything it enhances it, adding an interesting contrast of flavor that remains just as desirable! I love the chicken burger but the beef burger is really the star of the show, tender as can be and packed with classic yet complex flavors. This has to be one of my new fav burger spots in the city! They know exactly what they're doing. Not to mention the absolutely incredible ice cream, it tasted almost like horchata! So cool! I'm a huge fa of this spot and think everyone should give it a try. The burger looked depressing and completely unappetizing -- smashed bun, greasy, and burnt-looking patty. The grilled cheese was even worse because they basically used the same hamburger buns flipped inside out instead of actual bread. It felt lazy and not worth the money. Prices are quite reasonable considering the location! And the staff is very friendly with warm smiles! Space inside is small, so more likely you'll have to take your food to go. Came here during their first day of full long operations day- they open earlier this week. The space is small with no space to sit so it's meant more for a take out service ( you can stand on a side with some table space to eat). The menu is simple with either a chicken Shaw or a beef burg burger. This is an east meets west burger where hamburger is filled with middle eastern filling. Take for example that Chicken Shaw is kinda of like a chicken shawarma in it! The fries unfortunately was abit too crispy or dry aka too "golden" fries and so want not for my liking. The burger is delicious though! You can get a combo for fries and drink (can coke or sprite or water) for $5.99. Fries alone for $4.29 The staff are very friendly and helpful. The wait is a bit long but this is also the opening week so they deserve to have a bit of leniency as they figure it out! It was probably like 15 mins wait with 3-4 people in front of me. Are you KIDDING me?! This is the best dang sandwich I've had in YEARS. From the first bite I could tell these guys are so thoughtful in how they make their burgers. They make their own bread. Their sauces are familiar yet have a unique and elevated flair. The Burg had an awesomely buttery crisp bite and everything just melted in my mouth afterwards bursting with flavor from the patty and awesome sauce. The chicken Shaw is no exception - amazing marinated and flavorful chicken and that garlic sauce is nooo joke holy moly so good. Stopped by on our trip to Boston; 1. Amazing location, got off the Green Line at Park St Station and walked 6 minutes to Burg and Shaw near the Boston Common and Freedom Trail start. 2. There is no seating, but that is great because you can find a bench fairly quickly in Boston Common 3. One of the best burgers I've ever had, the chicken sandwich is amazing, but the burger combo with fries is the move. 4. Staff were extremely friendly, they had music going, and some space to wait inside. For a little over $30, it is a great lunch spot. read more

I decided to give this place a try for lunch one afternoon since I was craving a smashburger and didnt want to walk far. The customer service was top tier, the staff was nice and welcoming. I got the beef burg and chicken shaw and when I got back, I noticed that there were no condiments in the bag, and to my recollection there was also no condiment station just a stack of napkins. The beef burger was good, but the patty was smaller than I had anticipated. The flavors of the chicken shaw were amazing, but I didnt like that I had to keep putting it back into the patty to enjoy it. The fries stole the show for me, perfect amount of salt and crispness, bur would've tasted better had there been ketchup to pair it with. All in all, this is a good spot for a quick bite. read more

Great spot. Burg & Shaw does fusion sandwiches without turning them into some ridiculous stacked gimmick. The burgers hit that classic fast-food flavor profile, but done properly. Soft roll, rich sauce that doesn't overpower everything, and a really balanced bite. The chicken shaw was excellent. Tender, well-marinated chicken, yogurt for richness, and mint to keep the whole thing bright. Do not skip the garlic sauce for the fries. One cup was almost not enough for a full order. The spice cream dessert was a nice finish. Cold, lightly sweet, and refreshing after the meal. The $18 Stack Pack with a burger, chicken shaw, and fries is also a great deal for the amount of food you get. I lived in Boston for 7 years and this is definitely one of the best if not the best smashburger I've had. The chicken shawarma melts in your mouth. I had it and loved it so I put in a pretty large order for a family gathering the next day.
