I understand raising the prices but seriously we paid 45 dollars and for 2 burgers, a LARGE fry and onion ring and 2 shakes and large fry had maybe 10 frys in the bag. I have pics. She had one of their shakes and I had a "Burrito With" and a "Short and Thick", my two all time classic favorites from there! Oh, the memories that come back... LOL! Retro little burger place with a terrific selection of delicious diet items. Ok, totally NOT diet... Ice cream, shakes, fried foods, and burgers. Staff is super friendly. Gotta love that in this era where you can get all your stuff done without talking to another soul. Everything was good and fresh. My mushroom Swiss burger had big sliced breaded mushrooms like I've never had before. Very cool. The Swiss cheese was weird. Does someone make cheese whiz in Swiss cheese flavor? It's really unfortunate the turn burger hut has taken. Iv spent a lot of money there. But the last 4-5 times Iv ordered there they either don't include something in my order or they charge me for it and don't add it. They close the milkshake machine down over an hour before close. I'm not sure if these new young girls are just too chatty to fully pay attention or what is going on. But every time I have the younger kids the quality and attention to detail for any order drops off significantly. I used to come 3-4 times a month. I guess I'll keep it to once every 6 months now and see if it improves read more

Made a deliver across the street from this place yesterday (truck drivers) Decided to get an order to go place was nothin fancy but clean Staff was very friendly Order was correct hot and fresh Price was good The burgers were just regular burgers you would get at any Mom and pop place , noting to write home about The fries were good but again just plain tasting I was disappointed in the fry sauce , all it was was thousand island dressing The shakes weren't very thick and really need more flavor to them (I got cherry and it tasted more like vanilla then cherry, hubby did say his chocolate one was good ) All in all it's another Mom an pop place If in the area again would skip this place read more

Still great even after 40 years! In high school I lived on their richly delicious "Burrito With" smothered in chili and cheese. Who doesn't enjoy their tasty burgers, and desserts? And if you have a real sweet tooth, I highly recommend indulging in a Short & Thick; layers of ice cream, malt, hot fudge or whatever other flavor you want. My mom wanted to go this week, and while I had reservations about the restrictions with Covid, it was actually a great experience! We called in our order, drove over, pulled up behind 2 other vehicles in the drive-through, and had our hot food in less than 10 minutes. Burger Hut: order your food today, get it tomorrow! Exaggeration, yes, but we did spend 30 min. in the drive thru. When we pulled up there was one car ahead of us. The 30 min. doesn't count the 10 min. or so behind that car. The burgers were good. Fries and onion rings were cold. The chocolate shake had a weird, chemical taste to it. Ordered a Mountain Dew, received Squirt instead. I think the owner should retrain the crew for efficiency. The workers were very nice, though. We just ate at Burger Hut. It was so disappointing. The burger patties are paper thin, unseasoned and taste freezer burnt. The fries and mushrooms were under cooked. They messed up my daughter's order, then when they fixed it we found hair in it. They place is pretty shabby and the service was barely mediocre. McDonald's is far better, and I don't even like their food but at least it's edible. Waste of $30 for 4 of us. read more

If your looking for gourmet burgers this not the place. If your looking for a great tasting drive-in style burger this is the place and the price is right. I had a double bacon cheese burger with a side of sweet potato fries. There is a charge for the little extras tomato is an additional charge, I didn't notice if the fry sauce was more if so it was worth it, a combination of mustard, ketchup and dill relish.
