Came to the drive thru with two cars in front of us. We waited 20-25 minutes. The lady wanted a sundae and asked if they used chocolate syrup or hot fudge. They said they can do both. My second woman back at home wanted a scoop of ice cream in a cup. This is impossible for them even though they have ice cream cones, sundaes, and milkshakes. A cup is out of the question. We get the creams through the window and we notice there is no hot fudge on the sundae. We ask if we can get some. She looks at me as if I just asked for raw beef on my sundae. Side note: the sundae was a single scoop of ice cream (in a cup) with just nuts and whipped cream on top. She said that we ordered a sundae, not a hot fudge sundae. She went back inside to ask if we could have some hot fudge. She comes back with about a tablespoon of hot fudge for us. The straws are unable to withstand the thickness of the milkshake. I had to go home and use a spoon. Ice cream tastes great though. read more

Get straws that don't collapse when you suck on them. Delicious thick shack but you can't get it out of the container because of the cheap straw. The burgers are sometimes great and other times stale buns and overcooked fries. They should have great every thing for the prices they charge. read more

Had already read that that it was a bit of a wait, so we were ready for that. And yes, it was. And that was fine once forewarned! Such a great spot for that drive-in feel, just like the old days, with a drive up window on both sides, and speakers lined up where you can order from your vehicle. We sadly had to pass on the extremely inviting and lengthy list of malt and shake options :( We tried the corn dog which clearly had homemade batter *yum* and the veggie burger was very tasty with plenty of sauce, lettuce, and tomato. Food is NOT good enough to put up with the absolute WORST service EVER!! You speak slow and clear to make your order and when they get it wrong they refuse to accept blame and tell you you're wrong, and that you should've been more clear. The other time I've had an issue with their service I asked them directly if they knew me personally because their piss poor attitude was odd for someone in a service industry. I've been here several times in the past and never once been turned away before closing. Six minutes before closing and I watched them turn down me as well as several other customers. I called and asked about times and immediately got a snarky response of "well we're already close". When I asked to speak to a manager they said they don't have a manager on shift. THAT IS ILLEGAL in the state of Washington. You absolutely need to have somebody supervising to make sure things are being handled properly. Such as closing the store early. Mind you there were people waiting on their orders when we walked up. EXTREMELY disappointing and overall just now how you should run your business... coming from someone in the service industry. They could have made at least an extra $60 to end off the night from the amount of people turned down. Very sad, won't be bringing my business here anymore. I always like going to Ice-Burg for a good burger. They add relish to their burger--which I thought was weird when I first tried this place--but you can easily say "no relish" if you don't want it added. Their burgers are a little small in my opinion, especially when compared to Fast Eddy's, but if you're looking for big burgers, this probably isn't your first pick anyway. Still, for the price, I'm a little disappointed at how small their burgers are. It always pushes me to get a large fries instead of a regular-sized fries. Their milkshakes are also YUMMY. You can't go wrong with pretty much any of their flavors! Iceberg also close relatively early. I wish they were open late like In-n-out lol! I first ate here in 1963. Little has changed in 58 years; the trees have grown and there is now asphalt instead of gravel and dirt. Growing up my favorite meal here was a cheeseburger, fries and cherry soda, that's what I had today. They were pretty much unchanged from when I was a kid; the cherry flavoring still has bits of maraschino cherries in it! My wife had a bacon cheeseburger and Butterscotch shake. Everything was very tasty. At other classic joints around the country I have had better cheeseburgers, a very few places daily cut fresh skin on fries that set the standard, or a very very few places that use hand dipped hard ice cream in their sodas; but the nostalgia of this tasty food here always makes it a favorite for me. read more

Ice berg used to be the place to go, but sadly lately customer service and the food itself has gone down hill. Tonight I called in an order and the phone rang and rang and finally an automated voice told me to "Enter your access code." Obviously, I don't have any codes. I tried 4 more times and each time the same thing. On the 6th try, someone answered and I could place my order. While I was picking up my food, I asked the employee with the very long fingernails what the access code was. She said "I don't know, I don't work for the phone company" and rolled her eyes at me. After I composed myself, I said "I called your number and it asked for an access code." She said "I don't know, this isn't something I should know. You'll have to ask the manager." There's no reason for disrespectful service and I probably won't be frequenting Ice Berg again. read more

They typically put relish and pickles in their burgers, and I feel like the relish is overpowering. The cashier asked if I wanted cheese, onion, tomato, and lettuce and I said yes. Always stop in when I come through town! They have great burgers and shakes... everything is always good.. but, I come for the Scotch and Sodas! This drink is soda water w/butterscotch and 1/2 of a lemon squeezed and dropped in over ice! Many a hot summer day I stopped in after class, working in the fields, or out pleasure driving for a large Scotch and Soda to cool me off! From other reviewers it sounds like I had the same staff member who was extremely rude, disrespectful, was making weird facial expressions and doing hand gestures when taking our order in the drive thru-enough to make the back staff stand and stare at us. I was not impressed! I walked to the window to pay so I could let her know-long fake nails, long straight hair-that people in their cars CAN see what she is doing and did not appreciate feeling like my 85 yr old mother and I were being made fun of. "I was not making fun of you" her reply. When I went to pick up the food at the window, I did say thank you. She promptly slammed the window shut and walked away. No eye contact whatsoever. From Portland and when visiting family WOULD look forward to coming here. I will not return and not recommend to any friends or family. The items ordered immediately went in the trash. One of the best milkshakes I have had in the contiguous US. We grabbed a strawberry and a huckleberry milkshake. If you have never had huckleberries, you need to! Both shakes were thick and creamy (initially too thick for the provided straws. Thankfully they also provided spoons). The strawberry shake was very sweet with chuncks of strawberry throughout. The huckleberry shake was sweet with patches of slight tartness from the huckleberries. (I preferred this of the strawberry shack, but my spouse preferred strawberry to huckleberry). I went to Ice Berg 6/19/2022 for lunch ordered 2 Cheeseburgers with everything a side of onion rings and 2 drinks. The total bill was $25.86, for that I got 1 very burnt patty and 1 patty was burn't all around the edge, buy the time I pulled off all the burned area there was not much left of the meat. They both had been left on the grill way to long, even the cheese on one of the burgers was melted to the point on not being there. That being said those burgers should have gone in the garbage can.
