Good New Whopper, But Service Needs Work at Bonney Lake BK I finally tried the revamped Whopper at the Bonney Lake Burger King (Store #6935 on SR 410) on April 15, 2026, and the burger itself delivered on everything Burger King has been advertising. We walked in at 4:03 PM with no one ahead of us at the counter (drive-thru was busy). The manager saw us standing there but didn't acknowledge us until almost 4:08 PM. He was professional while taking our order, but the food didn't come out until 4:19 PM -- a 16-minute wait for two bacon cheese Whopper combos. The Whoppers were genuinely improved: the new bun was soft, fresh, and didn't crumble or taste stale like it has in the past. The burgers arrived hot, the mayo had a nice tangy flavor, and the tomatoes, onions, and pickles were fresh and crunchy. The new bigger box kept everything protected and unsquished. Adding cheese and bacon worked well too -- overall, this was the best Whopper I've had from BK in a long time. The large fries were hot and fresh but under-salted and pretty meh (same as always -- I've never been a big fan of BK fries and they could definitely improve them). Drinks were self-serve at the Coke Freestyle machine; a couple of zero-sugar options were out, but what we got was fine. The dining area and men's restroom were clean. Bottom line: The new Whopper is a real step forward and lives up to the recent campaign. Just wish the counter service had been quicker and more welcoming when we walked in with no line. I'd give the food 4-5 stars, but the wait pulled it down. read more

Placed a mobile order and more than half my order items were out, at the pickup window was told they would process the refund on the app, never happened. I reached out to customer service and was told sorry we can't process that. Like so $40 worth of food I got $10 worth and basically just gave my money to them for nothing. Thanks for nothing. i always go to this burger king and usually it's pretty good service and food but this time when i went through to get my usual everything went smooth like normal until i went to eat my food. my food was half cooked and half raw. the manager has always been a little cranky( she doesn't have great customer service skills or something) but when i went in and told her i wanted my money back, she stomped to the drive through window and gave me my money back but she was not happy. read more

I get it, workers are hard to find, but seriously, consider closing the doors if you can't serve people in the drive through only, in less than a half hour. After waiting 35 minutes I got cold food!!! How do you do that? I figured the food would at least be hot after the wait. Nope! Meanwhile the hair farmers on staff were not wearing hair nets and could barely see through the hair hanging over their visor. DO NOT ORDER ON MOBILE APP. I placed a mobile order at 7:36 a.m. 4/6/22. The "Drive Thru Open" sign was on so I pulled up and waited 10 minutes to tell them I was there. During that time I tried to cancel my order on the app. There is no way to cancel the order. It's 8:00 a.m. and nobody is answering the phone to help. I should have looked at all of the 1-star Yelp reviews prior to ordering at the Bonney Lake location. No food. No refund. read more

Let me start this review by saying that customer service here is 5 stars. Unfortunately the food was so gross. The bread for the burgers was incredibly dense. I don't know a better way to describe it. It was spongy but hard. The fries were the exact same way! Super dense. You know fries aren't good when there are leftovers. read more

The last few times we've been here something has been wrong. The broiler was down one of the times. Now it's 955 at night there's no signs why they're close-down early and there's a cone at the drive-through. I understand being short staffed but at least you could put a sign up stating that you're going to be closed early. read more

The worst experience I've had in a food establishment in years. Bathroom was filthy - I should have walked out right then. I ordered the Impossible Burger. Took 30 minutes to get it. In that time they gave out about 5 orders, 4 were brought back wrong. One customer pawed through the order and handed back a burger, which went back in the warming tray and (I think) went to a drive thru order. By the time I got it, the burger was barely room temp and hard as a hockey puck. If you've ever over-nuked a veggie patty then let it cool, that's what it was like. Ordered a Single Sourdough King burger. When I made it to the drivethru window, double checked with the 'order taker'- he verified my order and gave me my receipt . Pulled forward and the shift manager handed me my bag. I asked again to make sure the order was correct, she looked in the bag, rolled her eyes and said to wait one minute while they 'fixed' my order. She handed me my bag and off I went. Why even bother having numbers in your menu you order a number and they just give you what ever they want anyway! If you go here don't order by number order by item even if you order by item they 90% of the time will still screw up and if you try and go back they will be assholes about and tell you you just ordered wrong! So I just went to get dinner with my wife and we made specific orders our way like the commercial said. Anyway, requested, fresh off fryer, it not only was handed to me by a stoned teen who was giggling, but after getting home it was the wrong stuff, soggy, dirty grease cooked cold fry, old meat and not the correct items, we called and were answered by one of said stones teens, he wouldn't give his name said he was the GM of this store and we were not getting anything. He lashed out and said if you come back to my store I'll shut the wi down in your face!!!! Really. I wish I had taken a picture of my whopper. On the bottom it had this white thick powder almost like flour. I tried to scrape it off but I ended up almost taking off the whole middle of the bottom bun. I tried to just eat it but the taste and texture was gross. We are on our way back from out of town, and the kids wanted ice cream. First we went next door to McDonald's on a Saturday evening @ 5pm and their lobby was closed. Oh btw we needed to use the bathroom as well. So went across the way to BK and 4 minutes and counting we are still in the drive thru line! Whoppers we're cold. Second they made my order incorrect, so I had to go back through the drive thru to have them remake it. And they sell burritos with no salsa, they're salsa got discontinued. As terrible as fast food is for ya, I'm not gonna lie, I love Burger King and their kick as$ deals you get through their app hands down beats ANY other fast food place around HOWEVER I'm getting REAL FED UP with this CASH ONLY crap that has become an almost consistent thing every time I attempt to go through their drive through at night. Our local burger King has Been poorly managed for months. They finally got a new manager in and we were happy to hear it. I've also used the app for a couple of years. So when I went in today to day to try to use the app it said every coupon was unavailable at that store. Being a frequent customer I asked to see the manager who appeared to be about 12 years old. He was rude and said we don't have anything to do with the app and I said well it's your app. Shouldn't you honor it? And he said 'The app isn't our problem' and literally slammed the slider in our face. Good job, Burger King. You just lost a lifelong customer. I will post this across all media platforms. read more
