    Spicy Chicken Teriyaki and Gyoza
    Vanessa L.

Ordered lunch at Niko Teriyaki and the food was loaded with sauce. Got everything out of our dollar. We ordered the Chicken Katsu and Spicy Chicken Teriyaki. Chicken Katsu was crispy, but it was a bit flat, meaning there wasnt a lot of meat in each crispy bite. However, they do give you a bed of crispy chicken. The Spicy Chicken Teriyaki was very spicy. Appreciated that they provide two extra sauce containers on the side. For appetizers we ordered two packs of gyoza. One pack of gyoza contains about 4 pieces. Was crispy on the edge and soft in the middle. Overall, decent teriyaki with decent gyozas at a decent price. We see ourselves definitely coming back here.

Dry chicken with a tiny teriyaki container and two scoops of dry (not sticky) rice. $16

Disappointed in this and it was not cheap. The chicken was cooked well but the rice (which is half the dish) was terribly dry...and the sauce was scares. I got a drink and this for almost $17. I didn't even eat half the rice. The "salad" was lettuce with a tiny cup of mayonnaise as the dressing. I say mayo because it was the same flavor, consistency and flavor of Mayo. When I came in the last behind the counter didn't greet me. Then when I tried to order she turned around flung the curtain back and yelled at someone in a language I didn't understand, then allowed me to continue ordering. I almost left then, I should have.

I used to enjoy eating here when they cared about the quality of there product that they serve guests. The sauce is absolutely the heaviest teriyaki sauce I have ever had. The restaurant is somewhat messy and the employees don't really care about customer service. They mainly care how much you spend and how full the Big Tip jar next to the register gets! The restrooms are filthy and they sell expired bottled drinks FYI. Overall two stars for the great white rice.

The food was excellent and the portions were large. The service time to get my order was a bit long as I didn't order ahead. I will be back.

Quality of the fish is unmatched, flown in twice a week from Japan. Yellow tail and blue fin otoro is available but as far as I know only on weekends. And I believe all the tuna is a very high quality Blue fin. Must try the Snapper Ngiri Been reading some of the reviews and I wanted to say to the person that was complaining about fake crab that most all sushi restaurants use it. If you want real crab you can ask for it. Some rolls are listed in the menu with real crab meat. Also fish bones will be found in Eel/Unagi everywhere and I seriously doubt it was in your fish. To some that say it's too expensive I say if you can't afford to eat sushi then Taco Bell is always an option. That being said this place has prices similar or lower than trappers and last time I went to Trappers I actually reached into the tip jar and took back my $20 and left it was so bad. Also this is a one of one restaurant and not a chain. The Owners are super friendly and Teddy the owner is behind the bar most days. There is another Sumo Sushi but it's completely different owners and not at all the same. This is the place to go.

The tea was a little light and diluted. Decent sushi place, for the area. The floor was a bit dirty and greasy on the way to the bathroom.

Sure, love her. Fresh and delicious is table stakes at this point. What I'm actually looking for is creativity--something inventive, exciting, new. Not papier-mâché. Not arts and crafts. Just... something I haven't already eaten a hundred times. Sushi Konami absolutely gets it. The appetizers alone deserve their own standing ovation. The breaded oysters are fantastic, especially drizzled in the chili sauce on the side. And then there are the "monkey brains"- basically a large mushroom stuffed with cream cheese and crab, battered and fried into a tempura ball of joy. Does it sound like it could stop your heart after one bite? Possibly. Will you regret eating it? Absolutely not. Just bring a defibrillator and a positive attitude. The rolls are consistently unique and interesting, the kind where you read the description and think, Okay, I trust you. It honestly feels hard to go wrong here. And if you're more of a traditionalist, no worries, you can still get your dragon roll or rainbow roll and be perfectly happy. Highly recommended. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Most of my family had never been here but the staff was patient and helpful with the orders. I shared fried chicken with my wife, and ordered the meat combo fried rice. I understand restaurants get busy, and I'm usually pretty patient, but the service just wasn't there. We waited nearly 30 minutes just to get a refill on our water, and throughout the meal it felt like we were being brushed off. Whether it was intentional or not, it honestly made us feel unwelcome. What really left a bad impression was the automatic gratuity added to the bill. I don't mind tipping for good service--in fact, I usually tip well--but when the service falls short and the gratuity is already included, it doesn't sit right with me. Had the service matched the prices, I would've gladly left a great review and an even better tip. The food was decent, but unfortunately the overall experience was overshadowed by the service. Since we were only visiting, we won't be returning, and based on our experience, I can't recommend this place.
