The old adage applies to my visit--"A little bit goes a long way". I initially wanted to just go into the Burger King and use the bathroom. The end. Pee and go. LOL. However, after using one of the cleanest bathrooms I've seen in a fast food place, I suddenly was hungry. I ordered the grilled classic grilled hot dog combo. Yes, advertising does work. I've seen the commercials. The hot dog was small but tasty. I forget to get salt for my fries and delighted that the fries had been seasoned correctly and I did not need any. And, the sweet tea tasted like sweet tea you would make at home. I give this place 4 stars. Customer service (genuine), bathroom cleanliness, food was hot, came out on time and correct. Even the cashier (Candy) insisted on getting my name correct for the order. I came out with my to-go order feeling "Wow". I NEVER get this from any of the Burger Kings I visit. I drove in to this BK to get food for my drive home from the Carrollton VA to Newnan, GA. This looks like a brand new store but don't know for sure. Went up to one of the 2 order drives. The speaker was out. This is at 10:45AM so no traffic. Why couldn't have they fixed the speaker overnight or early in the morning instead of leaving me parked in the lane yelling my head off? I was finally able to order their "fish" sandwich combo. Paid at the window. Drove up to the food window. Was handed my meal. Window slammed shut server left the window to go visit with a coworker. I took a sip out of my "diet coke" and it was all carbonization. Absolutely NO diet coke syrup. I sat at the window blowing my horn until finally the "server" came back, slammed open the window. I told her about the drink and she looked at me like I was crazy. I held it for her to take but she slammed the window again and walked away. I sat there at the window blowing my horn but nobody came back. I drove off because if I'd gone in there would have been police involvement. The fish in the sandwich had a strong odor when I unwrapped it so I threw it away. The fries were cold and soggy at 11AM lunch opening time. Fast food has gotten so bad especially during and since the Pandemic and this Carrollton BK is keeping this tradition alive. Every time I come here they mess up the order. Every time. They forget things. They give me the wrong things. Every time. I ordered a whopper with cheese and requested extra ketchup. I didn't request anything to be taken off. They gave me a whopper with cheese, ketchup only, and swimming in ketchup. I ordered nuggets with bbq and asked for ketchup and paid for three ranch dipping sauce for my fries. They left out the ketchup and the three ranch. This is what they do every time. I got off a long day of work and was craving some Burger King. I showed up at 11:45 which normally they won't serve at this time because they are doing their closing duties. but this generous gentleman named Kade (or Cade idk how to spell it I didn't ask) decided he would still serve us. He made our food with excellent skill and craftsmanship. Not to mention, he held himself in a way that deserves a pay raise and management position. So I ordered online so that they would see how to make my order. I usually don't come to this Burger King because they always mess up my order when I come around in the evening. I had ordered a bacon king meal with no condiments and lettuce, tomato and onion added with fries and a fruit punch. I also added an additional double cheeseburger with no condiments and no pickles with lettuce, tomato and onion added. So when I arrived to the Burger King to pick up my order, the speaker told me to come to the second window. There were like 3 or 4 cars in front of me. Once I got to the window, a bald white guy came to the window trying to to give me someone else's order. I gave him my name and he told me to pull up. He came to my car and said that they can't find my order. I pulled up my order on my phone and I told him what my order was and how I wanted my food. I waited 30 minutes for my food for it to be wrong. My bacon king didn't have bacon on it and my double cheeseburger didn't have the lettuce, tomato and onion I asked for on my burger. They just made it the regular way. He told me they don't make double cheeseburgers that way. What about having it my way? Isn't that Burger King's slogan? I'm highly pissed off because they made me late for work. This was my last time giving them a chance to do better. I won't be returning to this Burger King, I should've just kept going to the Burger King on Bankhead because at least they do get it right most of the time. If you want food poisoning, go to this location. Luckily I realize this before finishing my burger and quickly took it back to this location.While telling the "manager" what happened she asked what is this. And carried on to have an attitude with us. I asked for my food to be remade fresh and saw an employee warming it up in the microwave. She was in the back while it was being made so, I'm pretty sure she told him to do it. We asked her about that as well and she said that was "protocol". Worst Burger King experience, when I ordered I gave a detailed order that I want two honey mustards, one ranch, one Buffalo. Get to the window the lady puts 5 Buffalo sauces in the bag once I got the bag there wasn't even the ranch or honey mustards. I was already charged for adding extra sauces. So I want the right sauces if I'm going to be charged. When I got home the chicken fries weren't even in the bag, order a large fry it was halfway full and tasted like they have been sitting out all day. I have been to Burger King a couple of times but this was my first time trying the one in Carrollton! I ordered a veggie burger with just lettuce and a flammin hot mac & cheetos at 11PM.
