I was in her way, she could've just said excuse me but she said "Can you like, move that way a little bit?" Using hand gestures. I'm not the type of person to say anything so I just left it at that. She was also being that way to a customer that came in behind us because they forgot some stuff with her order, when she came in, the employee said, "What is it now?" With a snarky tone. Terrible experience! I'll never return! I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a Coke. After a very long wait, I received my order: room temperature. OK, whatever... so I took a bite from the burger: No cheese! So I go back to the front with my burger and explain to the (very grumpy) young woman that there's no cheese on the burger. Without a word to acknowledge me, she spins around and disappears into the kitchen. She finally returns and snarls, "He say he put cheese on it." I lift the bun and show her: There's no cheese here! She then tells me, "I need to get some gloves so I can examine it." EXAMINE IT?! I told her there was no way I was going to eat it after she fingered my burger! I demanded a refund, which after some arguing and resistance, I finally received. I drove across town to a Wendy's and ordered the same thing there: Cheeseburger, fries, and a Coke. I had no sooner paid for the order, when they were handing it to me. Fast service, cheese on my cheeseburger, and no demands that I submit my burger for a gynecological exam! 24May26 I'm extremely disappointed with this location. I'm currently serving in the Navy and came home to Georgia to visit family. One of the places I was genuinely looking forward to eating again was Cook Out because I've always had great memories and experiences here in the past. Unfortunately, today may have been my last visit. I ordered my usual meal and was excited to eat once I got home. On the very first bite of my burger, I bit into something hard. At first, I thought it was a tough piece of lettuce, so I spit it out to see what it was. To my shock, it was a plastic bread clip from a loaf of bread bag. I'm honestly disgusted that something like this made it into a customer's food. This could have easily been swallowed or chipped someone's tooth. I've attached a photo as proof. Came back the next week and spoke to Eve, who merely thanked me for the feedback and sent me on my way, expressing hope that I'd come back some other day and try them again. It's a hit or miss at this location. Food quality is pretty good, prices are pretty good. Getting everything you ordered and a friendly attitude is a meh level. I can't tell you how many times, and I guess it's my fault too for not checking while I'm there, even though I don't want to hold up the line and just trust the staff, that I've left without something I've ordered. It could be anything from sauces to drinks to even an entree item. Again, it happens. No one is perfect. I've actually learned to time when to go so I get a specific group of people who never forget my stuff or never give a crazy attitude if I ask for the forgotten item. So, again, hit or miss. I give this place two stars because not only was the food bland but the staff was continuously horse playing as we were sitting in drive-thru waiting for our food. I have been here on various occasions because my boyfriend loves this place and it is always opened late! We always order the cookout tray for $4.99. You get to decide on an entree, two sides, and a drink (sodas or water). It is an additional $1.00 for a shake. I usually get a cheese quesadilla, fries and hush puppies, and a peach shake w/ extra peaches (fresh peaches to die for!!). My boyfriend usually orders two hot dogs with bacon, a chicken quesadilla, and fries/ hush puppies (depends on what he's feeing). I am giving this location three stars because some days my order is correct while some days it is not. The service really depends on what time you go. Very disgusted with my last trip to this Cook Out location. Went there to purchase some hot dogs and chili dogs for great-grandchildren. Placed order, very specific with details; attendant got order correct, but after I got home and unpacked the bag, None of the order was filled correctly. Apparently, this store is using non-trained personnel to prepare the orders that come through the drive-thru. You would think that anyone who can read would be able to assemble an order for hot dogs and/or chili dogs, but that did not work out well. The person (or persons) preparing my order may be illiterate, or possibly on something not useful. -- Be sure you check your order before leaving the window. In my case, it was 20 minutes later when I got back home and discovered the nonsense, nothing could I do, but accept what I had received and watch kids' disappointment. I've have been meaning to visit Cookout since a location opened up back home. I am only now getting around to it. It wasn't all I had expected based on what friends have boasted about but I have to say - it's pretty good. It has a similar "feel" to FiveGuys, however, it seems they actually have a larger menu. They have coleslaw, hush puppies, and onion rings as side options which was definitely a plus for me, something different to the typical french fry option. Out of paper towels and the sink and floors were duty. Lots of menu choices and I went for a BBQ plate. One had to keep your ears on when they call out your order number. That means all four digits. Loud music and the dining area is very bright from a noise control. Elected to try a milk shake. M and M flavor. They must enjoy crushing all of the M and Ms in to little microscopic pieces. I normally make Cook Out my first stop when I go visit family in NC, so I was happy when they opened restaurants in GA. The Cook Out tray is always a great value at $4.99 and I usually get the BBQ sandwich, hush puppies, fries, and a huge sweet tea for that price. Unfortunately, the BBQ sandwiches at this location are not as good as the BBQ sandwiches at their NC restaurants. Been a fan of cookout for years, ever since I've lived in North Carolina. Endless handspun shakes, fresh burgers, killer barbecue, and a smorgasbord of extras, styles, and sides to choose from and I still have trouble deciding what I want. This is by far one of the cleanest and most punctual cookout locations that I have visited. They are still relatively new, give them a shot and you won't be disappointed, food is cheap and freaking delicious. Not to mention they're open till 4 AM read more
