Being that we travel a lot, burger king is always a family favorite. Not today and not here in defuniak springs Florida. We ordered online through the mobile app and not only were the burgers served without condiments such as the cheese we paid additionally for as well as the standard fixings. One the the burgers even had what looks like a bite out it. After contacting the store and the app system I receive "let us know the next time you come in" and here's $3 off your next order. Sorry, I will not be coming back after you robbed me of my meal I paid for and then offered me half my money back. we sat in drive thur for 10 minutes at the speaker box, nobody talked to us..so we pulled up to the window and they saw us and completely ignored us we explained to the the general manager that we waited for several minutes to be acknowledged at the speaker box and window and she gave us a nasty look and attitude...she seriously needs better hygiene, like her teeth looked like butter and her body odor was over whehlming nasty. our food was cold. how in the world did she become general manager...like seriously!!!!!! read more

Filthy. First you arrive to a dumpster that smells worse than any truck stop bathroom. Next you step out onto a parking space coated with the sludge from the attempted washing of said dumpster. Then you track this biohazard inside where god forbid you drop something and have to pick it up. Much less than your kids do it. This place is a disgrace to an establishment that makes a good burger. But imagine all the hands that make that burger coming in contact with the biohazard both in and outside. You can do better than this. First thing is move the dumpster that sits next to the kitchen to the back of the lot. I am local and this is embarrassing and unhealthy. Went back by today. Went in the am for a breakfast sandwich. Property is run down and dirty, outside walls have dirt and grime on them, parking lot is full of trash, landscaping looks un-kept. Sticker on the drive-thru window says "no video or still photography"? WTF? so i took a picture and a video just for spite. the view into the store from the drive through looks like things are falling apart inside. ceiling damaged, dirty and falling down. Food: The only thing even moderately warm on my breakfast sandwich was the sausage, everything else was cold and the sausage looked like it had been in the bin for hours, crunchy and old. i agree with the other viewer that everything tasted like chemical. i threw half of my breakfast away and even now as im writing this, my stomach is in turmoil. went to the Burger King website per the directions on the back of the receipt but receipt missing crucial number at the bottom needed to complete the survey, i'm thinking the staff cutting it off on purpose so corporate doesn't get the message on how bad they are. read more

Went to this Burger King for a quick and relaxing meal. What we received was an adventure to say the least. To start the store appeared busy due to the amount of cars parked by the entrance. Actually the place was empty except for one table, turned out the cars belonged to the employees. Ordering was straightforward and uneventful although they were completely out of tomatoes. How can a Burger King run out of tomatoes with a Walmart within sight! We ordered two whoppers all the way, large fries, a ten piece chicken nuggets, and drinks. We had to return to the counter for ketchup as the dispenser was empty, after waiting to grab someones attention for a couple of minutes I finally shouted out as they would make eye contact with me but not inquire why I was standing there. An employee came and handed me fiffteen packets of ketchup for two burgers! What a waste.The whoppers looked as if the ingredients were thrown on them from across the room. The fries and nuggets were warm but definitely not fresh. I asked to see a manager but one never came out to talk with me. My wife went back to the counter for some dipping sauce but was never waited on and returned to the table empty handed. I also saw a manager pour a chemical into a bottle bare handed and then handle raw food. The men's restroom was nasty, the hand drier and towel dispensers were both not working, the trash was overflowing on to the floor, there were pubic hairs all over the rim of the urinal. To top it all off we we exited the restaurant we had to walk though a cloud of cigarette smoke as an employee was smoking in the doorway. read more

No real difference than any fast food restaurant. Service is VERY slow. They want names to call out when you place an order instead of using a number. I see they are trying to be more friendly, but not much help when they mispronounce the names leading to wholesale confusion. Burgers are obviously being just slammed together, not being very careful so condiments end up everywhere. Just a general feeling of hopelessness permeates the place among the staff. read more

Why in the world does their breakfast food and even their drinks in the morning taste like cleaners? It's gross. Their lunch menu is okay if you like dried out food but their breakfast even there hashbrowns takes a cleaner it's nasty. Defuniak Burger king is the only bk that I know that the food taste this way in the morning so I don't know what they're doing wrong. But it can't be good. read more
