The food here is the same as any other sonic, but one thing I will say that stands out for me every time I'm here is the service. There is one woman who is our carhop every time we come here and I will say she is the sweetest most pleasant person I have come into contact with in a long time and she always makes sure our order is right. Food is same quality and I eat there occasionally. Parking lot is clean, and fun. But the service? I understand understaffed. But, when it takes more than 30 minutes to get 2 drinks. Nope, not good. Most times I have plenty of time to allow for low staffing, but not today . Very sad. read more

The burgers were good, the onions rings were good, the fries and tater tots were good.....the chicken tenders were fried to a dark brown and were tough and inedible.....even the dog had trouble chewing them. Our whole experience at this location was delightful and encouraging. All previous negative reviews couldn't be further from the truth. Went here today and the food was great and so was the service!! Last time I was there, I was disappointed I did not receive the icing that was supposed to go with my cinnasnacks (I know it's little and silly but we've all been there ‍). Today when I went, I asked the guy if it was supposed to come with the meal since I didn't get it the last time. The guy took full responsibility by apologizing and saying it even could have been him. Pretty sure it was a girl who served me but I appreciate him taking responsibility. I haven't been to this one in a while and me and my husband decided here for a sweet treat. First pulled up and sat in the stall for close to 15mins to be told our machine wasn't working and to move to another. My hot fudge sundae was disgusting. Not only was it not hot fudge, the cherry on top was rotten and the ice cream was thick and grainy, I couldn't even eat half of it. My husbands blast was also not good. He said that the ice cream tasted bad and sour and was as thin as a milkshake. Very unhappy with quality of food. read more

Three hotdogs and a burger took 25 minuets...unacceptable! The food was the same as most every other Sonic, but the slowest I've ever stopped at. I couldn't tell if they was short staffed or unorganized. Needs a management review or a manager kicked to the curb...this was not a Sonic experience. read more

The Sonic location in DeFuniak Springs has seriously declined. First let me say that I am usually a 5 day a week customer as I will grab a fruit slush or breakfast most mornings on my way in to work. As I have witnessed this location severely decline The majority of the order boards do not work. The servers are not friendly and the upkeep of the place is in disrepair. Most boards you cannot pay with a debit card because it doesnt work and the others have notes taped to them that the wiring doesnt work to please find another stall-good luck with THAT! I work in customer service and I realize that at times you have to "weed" through the bad hires. For 6 days in a row I was informed that they were so sorry that they could not complete my order because they "were out of bananas -now how does this happen FOR 6 DAYS? Now as of yesterday they cannot complete my order because the "machines (slush) are broken. I am appalled at how a business can be ran in this manner. I seriously do not look for this establishment to remain open. read more

The service for lunch was very slow. It took 20 minutes from the time we ordered till we got our food. Also they don't serve biscuits at this sonic which was the only reason we even stopped here. Definitely would not stop at this place again. Don not recommend eating here. There are many better options available. read more

I took my husband to get a burger and I had a shake, cause the teenagers they have working can't really cook. Halfway through my shake he drops his food. I knew something was horribly wrong. He handed me his french fries and there was a long pubic hair wrapped all the way around one of the fries....the most disgusting thing that has ever happened to us at a fast food restaurant.
