Brewed Coffee - Loves to Fly!

Burger King pulls me in! On 6/29/26... The smiling gentleman running the drive through on a dreary Monday morning, was all I needed to start my Monday better. Thanks, BK!

On my most recent visit to the Burger King on 212th Street Southwest and 76th Avenue West in Edmonds, today Thursday 16 November 2023, I opted for the drive-thru a little after the breakfast menu had changed to the later in the day menu (about 10:38 a.m.). Going for a few of the less expensive items for a full meal, I ordered the bacon double cheeseburger ($3.99), a medium fries ($3.14), and a soft serve ice cream in a cup ($1.69). The drive-thru worker was friendly and efficient. Payment was straightforward and turnaround on the items I ordered quick. A number of parking spaces were available, so I dined in my car in one of the spots. Each of the items were true in temperature to the product (cheeseburger and fries warm and soft serve cold). The fries were soft and crispy with a texturally light interior and golden exterior, I appreciated they were not heavily salted. For the bacon double cheeseburger, the patties were juicy, cheese melty, and bun fluffy. The other toppings were on point as well. The soft serve was also a hit. It thawed a little as I ate the other items, so it was extra creamy by the time I got to it in my meal (last). Closer to the building, the parking lot had garbage can(s). Something I appreciated, as I was able to take my dining refuse and dispose of it before driving off. The parking lot was easy to navigate in my car, though turning in did require my attention to spot the turn-ins/how to turn in.

Consistently fresh! Rodeo cheeseburger and whopper are my favorites, but don't sleep on their breakfast either, sooo good!

This is a good satisfactory Burger King location. I ordered via drive thru and the staff were very accommodating and very courteous. When I are my burger, it seem to be lacking the normal amount of toppings I get on a whopper and the onion rings did not taste very fresh.

What's left of my Impossible Whopper
    Alison P.

I'm not a fast food fan. Been hearing a lot about Burger King's Impossible Burger and wasn't really interested. I think for people who want to eat less meat in their diet, it's a good thing. I just don't miss eating meat. I'm perfectly fine without red meat & fowl. I will eat seafood once or twice a week though. That said, it's a rainy day and not feeling like getting out of my car to get something to eat for lunch. So decided to try this new whopper. I'll admit that the husband tried it in a restaurant several months ago. I did take a bite and didn't feel one way or the other about it. Eating this Impossible Whopper was not bad. I did get a slight cramping in my stomach before I finished eating it. Perhaps the psychological feeling if eating red meat. Who knows. Somebody said that they still cook it on the same grill as their regular burgers. I'm not a purist when it comes to eating or not eating meat. Anyway, I think in a pinch I may have another if nothing else is available. I just don't think it's as great as others are saying.

    Hand-Breaded Crispy Chicken Sandwich
    Jon O.

This review is based only on the new hand breaded chicken sandwich. The chicken is thick and generous, but mine was a bit chewy like it was over cooked. Batter was crunchy but uneven, and the seasoning has a burnt onion flavor that wasn't great. I did like the potato bun, it complemented the chicken well and had a nice structure. In summary, BK"s chicken sandwich is better than McDonald's, but KFC is slightly better, and of course Popeyes is still the king.

Get your two for one coupon from the mail and then pick up two Whoppers. I order them without lettuce so they have to make them fresh.

In long I've been wanting to try this place for a couple years, and having errands run late while we were in the area gave us the perfect opportunity to get in. There's not too much parking, but there IS an accessible spot by the door, and it's okay, anyway...'cause there's not too awfully much seating. 4 tables inside, 4 more outside, next to the pleasant whoosh of traffic on 99. I'd sit anywhere for this food, though. We had carnitas sopes, which were light and airy but still sturdy enough not to droop when you picked them up. Stacked so high with toppings that I had to wipe my beard after pretty much every bite. Carnitas had great flavor, and all the veg were tasting and chewing like they're super fresh. The quesabirria tacos were excellent. A little crunch and a lot of chew to the tortilla, great flavors throughout, and solid consomme. The salsa bar is kinda basic but does the job--pickled carrots, radishes, cucumbers, limes, couple other things. Red, green, and hot options in the cooler below the veg. The staff here are super nice, and the one single-occupant restroom is clean enough, huge for sure, and fully accessible. Narrow doorway but easy to pass through. These folks are on delivery apps and I see many breakfast burritos and other meals from them in my future. Most dishes are a couple bucks cheaper int-store, though.

I love all of the above, but I was delighted by how amazing their adobo fried chicken sandwich tasted. If you want something easier to eat that is less rich and messy than their popular lechon kawali roll, I would order the adobo fried chicken sandwich. It tasted super delicious, but more simple and easier to digest. If you want something more tangy and meaty in flavor, you might prefer to try their fili-bistek sandwich instead. For a starter to munch on, side item, or for an easy standalone snack, their lumpia shanghai is perfect for that or the sisig-style fries that you'll need a fork to more easily navigate your way through it. If sandwiches aren't your thing and you prefer rice dishes instead, their kawali bowl is a good one to try. As I briefly mentioned above, I really enjoyed their traditional-style halo-halo that I simply couldn't wait to eat last for dessert. I ate/drank it with my meal, which is actually not that uncommon to do. There are just a few steps you need to take to prepare it before consuming it. First, I kept the lid on (so that none of the overflowing precious ingredients spilled out) and I used my spoon to carefully mix all the ingredients around, reaching to the bottom, up, and around. Yes, seems like a hassle, but the mixing part is a very key and important step! For those who don't know, "halo-halo" literally means "mix-mix" in Tagalog (the main dialect in the Philippines). Once you've patiently mixed everything together, you can use your spoon to start eating it until it is no longer overflowing. Now, you can safely remove the lid without spilling anything and I then can interchangeably use my spoon and also sip directly from the cup. It's fun! ;-) Go to LASA and support an awesome small business!!! I live in Seattle. Yup, it's a bit of a trek, but it's so worth it!!!
