My favorite place to get a burger! My go to order is always the Double bacon Charburger with cheese wrapped in lettuce. Sometimes I get it with avocado too! I love their chicken sandwiches wrapped in lettuce too. The BBQ bacon charburger is another great choice. All of their side options are amazing. The tempura green beans are an absolute must! I recommend ordering the sweet potatoes and having them cook them extra crispy...same with the fries. Make sure to get some of their fry sauce and ranch for dipping! I also love to load up on the spicy peppers from the pepper bar - I love that they have this there! They make great milkshakes too. I go here at least once a month and will continue to do! Finally after 7 years, I checked out The Habit Burger Grill with The Homie (4/24/24). Shoreline has the usual burger chains like Jack In the Box and McDonald's, an indie called Good Burger, and two from CA - CaliBurger and The Habit Burger Grill. The latter is located near the Shoreline-Edmonds border and has been open since March 2017. I visit Bank of America, FedEx Office, Costco, and Verizon in the same shopping complex, yet somehow never stopped in until now. Nice, clean interior with a variety of seating. Straightforward menu for onsite dining, takeout, and curbside service. Efficient customer service at the front counter. Excellent rating posted from King County Health Department. There's a selection of fresh peppers and condiments available next to the soda dispenser area. The Homie really enjoyed the availability of fry sauce, I just stuck with ketchup. We were also given a container of presumably ranch dressing? The goods: 2 Double Char Cheeseburgers ($8.79 each) 1 onion rings/fries combo ($4.79) 1 garlic parmesan fries ($4.39) 2 milkshakes, Oreo & Mocha ($5.79 each) With tax & service charge/tip was under $49. Terrible! I ordered several burgers with onion rings and the onion rings were black and brown disgusting and not golden color. Habit Burger boils them in dirty filthy old deep fryer oil instead of fresh healthy clean oil. Change your fryer oil more often!!! Black onion rings are cancer causing from the carcinogens. I like swinging by this spot after my weekend Costco haul; it's conveniently right next door. It's become my go-to spot for a chill break with a delicious burger. We ordered the classic Charburger combo and a Portabella Char (swapped the regular bun for ciabatta). The fries here are very tasty, super crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. The Portabella Char was very great; those grilled onions and perfectly juicy mushrooms on ciabatta made it a flavor bomb. And the Oreo cookie milkshake that I ordered, it's sweet but satisfying, totally hits the spot! This place is clean and adorable. I love the pepper station; having three varieties to choose from adds a nice touch. Plus, the staff are friendly and helpful, which always enhances the experience. Well after my last poor experience here, I waited several months before trying it again. This time I got a Cobb salad. Well wouldn't you know, avocado and about half of the lettuce...rotten. The "aged cheddar" looked like someone ripped up a slice of cheese. Not an appetizing presentation at all. Very disappointed and grossed out again by the produce that they serve here. I was starving or else I would have thrown it away. I basically picked out the chicken, bacon and egg and called it a day. Disappointed that this restaurant hasn't gotten their act together. I'll never come back. It's been two years since I've visited a Habit Burger and they've gone way downhill. The burgers were bland and cold (how, when they cook to order?!) and the kids' chicken nuggets were over fried. But what really irked me above all else is that when I asked for a courtesy cup of water for my 3 yr old grandson the girl at the counter quoted a 3.99 charge. No way. I asked again later and after hesitating she agreed, but emphasized that it had to be for WATER -- and she actually followed me to the drink fountain to make sure I filled it with water, not soda. For our family of four, we decided to try their Chars & Bites Bundle, one of their family bundles. We have some UberEats and DoorDash credits to use so we compared the prices on those apps to the Habit Burger website's online ordering platform. The food delivery/pick up apps' price was $37.50, while Habit's website was charging $30. I love UberEat and DoorDash as they provide amazing convenience and I appreciate their drivers. This is not a judgmental comment. I am just laying it out to let you know that these were the options. Since it was just a short drive away and I was itching to get out of the house for some fresh air, we decided to order it on Habit's website. By the time I arrived at the restaurant, I had already gotten the text that said my order was ready. But it seemed like they were running a little behind as they were fulfilling so many take out orders. Please have patience with these front line workers as they deal with short staffing and extremely busy work on a daily basis. After just a few minutes, our order was ready! Always worth the wait. The Tempura green beans are my absolute favorite. Shakes are perfect consistency and equal in taste. I love customizing sandwiches to my liking, hate how it costs to add anything and everything. Love the lemonade and tea drink options. So worth the price. I was at my local watering hole, and a few of us hungry folks decided to do take out. I'm not much of a burger joint person myself--I don't eat beef--but Habit had Impossible Burgers on the menu, and since I'd never had an IB, I decided to give Habit a try. The burgers seemed a little "flat", as in compressed, slightly squished. Maybe it was the weight of all the burgers in the order. Who knows? It didn't look particularly appetizing. After I bit into it, however, I was pleased with both the flavor and texture. I also had an order of fries, and they were okay. Our family has been searching out burger joints in the area for a few weeks. Initially I had avoided The Habit, knowing it was a chain, thinking it might not be anything special. BUT. I was pleasantly surprised, as The Habit was great! The kids menu has only three options (burger, grilled cheese, or chicken nuggets), but I was told the kids burger (with cheese) was great! Kids get a choice of applesauce or fries, plus a drink. The kids in the group were excited to get a gummy candy burger with their meal. What a treat! The adults in our group all had the charburger. It was delicious! Hungrier people should be advised to get the double. Fries were good. They have a great selection for drinks as well, including flavoured lemonades. TLDR; Food is up to par with every other The Habit but the service here is severely lacking. LOCATION & PARKING // This is located in the large plaza on 205th near the Costco & Home Depot in Shoreline. The restaurant itself is decently sized but there isn't much seating available right now due to COVID. That's fine by me since I only do take out anyway. There is also a ton of parking available so no worries about that. FOOD // I ordered the TRI-TIP STEAK sandwich on a CIABATTA ROLL with TERIYAKI SAUCE. It was tasty and exactly what I remembered! With a side of FRIES, I ate half of the sandwich for dinner and then had the second half for lunch the next day. Nothing to complain about the food. SERVICE // Where it loses 2.5 stars (and gets a bump to 2 instead of 3) is because the service here is incredibly slow. I do not understand why it takes over 30 minutes for the order to be completed. I seriously stood there for half an hour for my order which was frustrating. OVERALL // 2.5 stars The food here is your staple Habit food, but they need to speed things up, especially since customers don't want to stand in your restaurant for 30+ minutes with other people who aren't social distancing. read more

This is probably one of the cleanest fast food restaurants I've seen and been to in the area. I never would have known it exists if a coworker hadn't mention this chain's in Seattle. I looked it up and was surprised to find this place exists right next to Starbucks, which I had been to before, but thought the entire building was occupied by Starbucks. I had never seen or noticed what was on the other side of Starbucks. The service at the counter is almost as fast as dicks burgers is. The best part about their pick up process is getting the vibrating disk to know when food is ready, so it's not too crowded in the waiting area, and you can find a table and sit while waiting. The burgers themselves have great flavors MUCH better than dicks and almost as good as caliburgers' animal style. They do drip a lot and get messy, but that's what good, well-sauced and packed burgers usually do. The fries are mediocre - not bad and not as great as other burger chains. I really enjoyed their pepper and other toppings station because I had never seen a place with one before. Another plus about this chain is their birthday program, as I don't think any other fast food chains have as good of one as habit's (unless you count Red Robin). read more

I live in south Lake Forest Park on the other side of I-5 and have seen Habit Burgers at this location for a while but never stopped in. Had errands in the area yesterday- drop off the teenager at a friend's house nearby, return something at Home Depot before running to Stella's Nails on Ballinger Way for a mani and had some extra time to kill and realized that I hadn't eaten lunch! So in I went for my first time. I'm not a big portion eater and luckily the kindly employee taking order at the counter didn't blink when I asked for a kids meal, which was $7.19 (plus tax & tip) and was billed as for the under-10 set. I mean, I'm a petite woman at 5' even so there are plenty of 10-yr olds physically bigger than me, so I think I get a pass here. I also have apparently have childlike tastes because the burger in the kids meal comes naked (just bun and patty) which is just the way I like it so I can customize my ideal level of ketchup and fry sauce spread from the dispensers!! The kids meals give you a choice between 3 mains= a kids sized charburger or chicken bites or grilled cheese sandwich + applesauce or French fries + a kids-sized beverage. I did the classic burger + fries + coke combo. They have the aforementioned dispensers for ketchup and fry sauce (both eat-in paper condiment containers and to-go plastic condiment cups/lids), as well as a condiment bar with 3 types of fresh peppers (jalapeños, chili peppers, pepperoncinis) and lemon slices. All this was in a very clean and well-organized space with a beverage dispenser, napkins, straws, lids, and containers & foil for wrapping up any leftovers. The kids meal was the perfect amount for me, and I enjoyed that the burger was juicy and flavorful. Fries were crispy salty and coke was as it should be from the fountain- refreshing. Definitely my favorite burger spot.  I have been eating at Habit Burger many times and all the stores I have been to within puget sound area have always met my expectation.  My favorite burger is a Charburger with cheese.  I like this burger as it comes with many veggies.  I like Habit Burger's business model of using fresh, never frozen USDA Choice 100% pure ground beef.  It tastes very good with the charcoal grill taste. This store is located right next to Costco.  I often stop by the store after shopping at Costco.  Another store I know of nearby is in Tukwilla.  I just wish they open up more stores around. read more

I've been here twice. the first time it took 15 minutes for them to get my order- 1 burger - ready. today the person. at the counter told me to use the self serve machine to place my order. that machine was occupied by a mother and her son who were taking a REALLY long time to complete their order. I waited for 5 minutes and they still were not done so decided to place a mobile order. I got the app downloaded, registered for account and was just about to place my one burger order when the counter person said she could help me now. The mother at the self serve machine was still trying to complete her order. so I waited for about 12-15 minutes to even get my order in. not good. to add insult to injury the counter person immediately served the next 3 people who came in and one group got to immediately start on the self serve machine. seriously?!!!!
