On the other hand, service was friendly, attractive, helpful and turned out a very good Patty Melt and Fries for lunch. Although I came in wanting breakfast, I quickly learned that the morning meal was no longer available. The PM wasn't a bad alternative, although it was so greasy that I went through a half dozen napkins cleaning my hands, and switched to knife and fork for the sake of the environment. The customers seemed to be mostly local regulars who knew the servers and cashier and enjoyed the comfort of the dining room and kitchen. The lights were out in the back hall to the restrooms making for a dark walk to the toilets. Hope that is fixed soon for the sake of all the older customers who need the facilities. The food was hot and tasty. The second time was a weekend and it was extremely busy. There were still a handful of tables available and you just pick any table you want and take a seat. I was not as happy with the service as it took a very long time for someone to give us menus and then we waited quite awhile for the server to come back and take our order. Once our order was placed it was a reasonable time to get our food but not crazy long. Our server didn't check back to refill drinks so that was not great but the food was still good so that was a plus. Will we go back, absolutely, but I will try to avoid the busy times.

We always had it delivered to our house otherwise. My usual is a couple orders of wings, coleslaw, and deviled eggs. His is chicken tenders and a slew of sides. I've also had the fish tacos which were great! They do a great job for gluten free folks like myself and I am SO grateful for that. Last time I came here I brought family from across the bridge. They were visiting us and we decided to eat somewhere versus fussing at the house. No one was impressed including me. The chicken Chesapeake was terrible. The chicken was so rubbery, I ended up only eating the crab dip and calling it a day. Glad we ordered a ton of sides and wings because it was disappointing. For the price, my family was not thrilled with the quality especially given some of our other frequented actual seafood spots. Then he got up made a bunch of drinks then I watched he made at least six shots him and some other servers took them to the other end of the bar and they drank them with some other people. Now the owner is out 6 shots how many times a night is this done? For dinner my wife had a salad and cup of cream of crab soup she said the soup was good just needed more seasoning so else asked for more old bay. I had the fish and chips, I wouldn't get this again the fish was mushy. I thought I took a picture I guess the servers drinking bothered me and I forgot the fries were semi warm. There was also a band there I guess they were local becuase I had never heard of them or any of the music they sang. If the guy beating on some box or the back of a guitar would stop the music would have sounded better. But the locals enjoyed it so I guess that's what matters. After the tour (and a little bit during) we tasted many beers that are not available to the general public. It's pretty obvious why this brewery is so popular - all of their beers, even the ones you may not gravitate towards (for us, dark beers) are smooth and well balanced. Today, I tried to place the $7 meal deal but didn't see it on the order board. The pick 2 for $7 was there. I realized that I was going to be charged $14 for a chicken tenders meal with fries, a drink and a sundae. I confirmed that and the employee said yes. He didn't volunteer that they had the $7 meal deals, even when I asked if the deal was now $14? I canceled the order and checked the website. DQ does have the deal but they didn't tell me. BE AWARE when you order that you are not getting overcharged. This DQ is awful. Poor management and poor customer service.
