I come from the world of if I wouldn't eat it myself, why the hell would you serve it to a paying customer? $1.90 is an excessive upcharge for bacon that burned and saturated with hours old tasting grease. I politely let the young lady know that her bacon was beat, she didn't give a shit. Don't put nasty assed bacon on food. If you wouldn't eat it, don't serve it. read more

My wife and I popped into Five Guys while exploring a little bit of the area we will be staying at for the weekend with some friends. The area where they are located is filled with some local spots and restaurants but Five Guys actually fits in, the storefront has a beachy feel to it. Once entering it's a Five Guys, pretty long and restrooms are all the way in to the back left for anyone who needs it. Seems like they probably pop in from time to time looking for just that. Ordered my usual Little Cheeseburger with the works and it was delicious as usual, tried and true. I also got a soda because I can't get enough of those Freestyle machines they have where you can make any drink. read more

This was fine for a late night stop. It was one of the only places open so I was glad to have the option. The staff was friendly and gave us extra fries in the bag. However, the food was really greasy. Usually I love five guys, but this was not good and they accidently out cheese on my burger when I asked for no cheese. read more

Ridiculous!!! Workers have lost their minds here they cannot make a shake to save their life I was skipped and then had to demand my money back because they wouldn't start it, they promise an extra bit of fries and we didn't even get the container filled. Once I asked about this they stated at me like a deer in headlights. They wouldn't give me the contact information for the owner or manager and I was asking that too. Placed an order online for pickup which was an easy process. Upon arrival I provided my name and was told it would only be a few more minutes while they cooked the fries. Once I received my order everything was hot and prepared well. The food is always a mess to eat but that's what you expect at five guys. I had the cheeseburger and Cajun fries. The burger was delicious and the fries were decent, although they had a bit too much seasoning this time for me. We went to this 5 Guys location on the 4th of July. It appeared to be the only restaurant around that wasn't crazy crowded. We were about the 6th group in line and we were able to grab a table as another group was leaving. It was a rainy holiday night so seats weren't turning over very quickly. We ordered and waited a bit longer than usual for our dinner but were weren't bothered. As we were waiting, I went to the condiment area to load up on stuff. They were all out of condiment cups and after a minute or two I able to grab an employee's attention for more. The station was a bit busy but we just might have been there during the rush - so that area is a but harder to keep up with. When our number was finally called, I opened my "veggie" sandwich and they had forgotten to put the cheese on. I went back up and they offered to make me a new one, but I was too hungry to wait for that. They popped two slices of cheese on for me. Everyone loved their meal. I was probably the only one who was disappointed - because my cheese wasn't melted (but again, I couldn't wait for them to redo it) and the veggies weren't as flavorful as they have been in the past. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite slow with only 2 people behind the counter. More employees showed up for work later. My food was slow but it was ok because I had the usual all you can eat peanuts while waiting. The taste of the food is consistent with five guys elsewhere. Compared to other burger and fry joints in the area, Five Guys has much more selected variety of drinks, sit down area with electrical outlets. So even though I initially didn't want to pick Five Guys, after factoring in the cost and all the factors above, I couldn't resist choosing it. Its definitely worth picking Five Guys if you want a place to sit down with AC and enjoy all the above. read more

Went today to Five Guys with my husband to order two burgers. Simple order, right? First of all, when we arrived, we were told by the cashier Kyle C. that we had to stand in the frigid cold rain with no cover and could not see the menu. We placed our order and begrudgingly stood outside waiting for our food. It took a significant amount of time. Then, Kyle comes out with two orders. He is confused about the numbers that go with the orders and makes it very unclear as to whose food is whose. An elderly gentleman comes up to take what he thinks is his food. Then, Kyle realizes AFTER he has given the man the food that he needs to check the number. He asks the gentleman what his order number was, and the gentleman hands Kyle his receipt. Kyle says "I don't want to touch that." So instead, he makes the gentleman set the food down onto the cold, wet ground just so he can open up his receipt. The numbers were incorrect, and this bag, now cold and wet, was given to another customer. It was unbelievable how inconsiderate he was treating the customers! Finally, even more minutes later, Kyle comes out with our food and says, and I quote, "Dude. Your Order!!!!!" in the most despicable, condescending voice. This is NOT how customer service should be done. Burgers were good though. read more

Burgers and shakes were tasty. Shakes are $5+ and on the smaller side. I loaded my burger up with all the toppings I liked and it made my burger MASSIVE. The service was good even though it looked chaotic in the kitchen. We didn't wait long to receive our food. It was really disappointing to me that a burger joint had limp fries. They were soaked up in grease and oil and just horrendous. read more

The service was great and the self serve soda fountains had great flavored but the but they lost a star for the dirtiness of the restaurant. The burger was delicious. The fries were great. I got a regular burger with ketchup. The one thing I would recommend was to get takeout so that you are not annoyed by the flys or dirty chairs and tables. read more

Last week their fries were to die for, meaning they were hot and crispy. Today, they were just plain soggy. The restaurant was 25% full. Brought this to the attention of the cashier and left the rest of the fries for her to keep. She said she will tell her supervisor. End of story, nothing was said or done afterwards. A pretty good 5 guys. Food is typical 5 guys so good, service is friendly and attentive. Never seems to get too busy here which is a huge positive with this being a near beach location. Overall pretty happy with the experience. read more

Came here after a long day at the beach, extremely close to here! I ordered the cheeseburger, and it was AMAZING!!! It was so good I don't know how to describe it! My brother has food allergies, so we asked the workers if the fries were fried in their own frier. They were! Finally a place where he can eat fries!! With it being so close to the ocean, there was a lot of sand on the floor. The overall building is supper cute! Love the red and white! The only thing I would suggest changing, is the music is so loud you can barely have a conversation with with the person next to you. Would 100% recommend!!! Love! read more

It appears they lost (2) of their main ladies that were probably in a management capacity and replaced them with a group of rude, flip & extremely discourteous individuals. Went in there with a good friend around 1:40 pm today to get some burgers and fries. The cashier was great but the manager/cook in the black polo was unwelcoming. As we stood in line the cashier asked how many patties and we answered with 4 so he could get it started early for us. He responded with he'll start it when it's that time, so we waited 25 minutes for two full size burgers and fries that came out soggy. My burger had no bbq and my friends burger didn't have the caramelized onion. Poor customer service and apathetic about the food he was putting out. read more
