I read the reviews and see that there was a lot of unhappy patrons, however on our visit today, the food was hot, it was good, and the staff was plenty friendly. We went through the drive thru, so I can't speak to the inside or its appearance, outside it's a building that looks like it's been here for good while. That just adds a little seasoning to the experience tho. Going through the drive thru, we got through plenty fast, even with a long line ahead of us. The fries were fresh and hot, well salted. The burgers definitely had the flame broiled flavor, they were really good. A little messy, but good. I can sympathize with Jacob R.'s review from earlier this year that the employees don't listen. Went through the drive-thru on 5/15/2023. I said a crispy chicken combo with onion rings and a Dr. Pepper. A nice employee read my order back to me, but when I got my receipt and my food, there were fries. While I experienced a major food bummer, I don't remember their fries being that good. Golden & crispy albiet on the stingy side! The chicken on my sandwich was overcooked. A bit on the tough side. In a recent news report, I read how 400 Burger King's will be closing later this year. That's crazy! I have no clue if this is one, but it stays very busy so I'm not sure why it would. That flame-broiled scent always wafts in the air when I drive by... BK does, however, have the catchiest jingle on air to date. It's called "You Rule." In a rush after grocery shopping and a lot of miles to travel, went through the window and grabbed 6 BK Tacos. Once on the road and out of traffic, pulled out a taco and tried to eat it, it was the most disgusting thing I've ever tried to eat in my life. It was obvious that they were several hours old, by the way the filling had soaked the shells and dried around the edges, the best way to describe it, it looked like cat diarrhea in a taco shell, and the flavor was HORRIBLE, tasted like burnt chili powder and stale refried beans. After taking one bite, I spit it into the bag, and wouldn't dare eat any more of that nasty slop. After arriving back on the farm, I threw the bag into the open top dumpster, the wild barn cats didn't even try to eat it. BK used to be one of our regular stops, it was convenient, being practically in Albertson's lot, had a good selection, and at one time was well managed and served good food. All that has changed, Hobbs BK is now on our list of NEVER AGAIN! read more

The Original Italian Chicken Sandwich is prominently displayed on their drive thru menu, yet when I tried to order the reply was a curt "we don't have that." Okay - if you choose not to serve something that is advertised continuously on tv then at least have the sense not to include it on your menu and then wonder why people get upset when they are told that it's not available. Burgers were less than fresh and the onion rings were some of the worst we have ever had - cold and salty. Left with the impression that nobody really cares at this place. read more

The 1st one we waited 25 mins before demanding our money bk & the managers excuse was "We've had a rough day". Staff is very unprofessional. I saw an employee serve a "milkshake" even though the machine was broken and she just put whip cream on top. The order taker was mumbling and rolling her eyes at the guests in front of me while ordering. I don't normally write reviews but I have to say this place either needs new management or needs to fire some employees. read more

I just went though this Burger King, with a little friend, for breakfast this morning. We were also picking up food for a woman who is celebrating her 90th birthday today, and my little friend is just out of the hospital, recovering from anorexia. The very reason we were going through the drive thru was to assure her that people are kind, that she can express her preferences in social settings outside the hospital program without people sending her messages that doing so is not acceptable, that she deserves to live and to eat...and to be part of a celebration of long life with our older friend. She ordered, "Sandwich plain. Now add lettuce, tomato, and pickle only," putting an emphasis on the consonants of "tomato" so as not to be confused with "mayo." As we were pulling away, she noticed the sandwich had mayo, catsup, and mustard. She felt discouraged and did not have the will to risk having it corrected. I assured her all would be okay, and we went back. The employees started an argument with her (about what she "should" have said instead and how no one would have understood / heard correctly what she did say), started yelling to each other about all the ways people were driving them crazy this morning, and "Jesus Christ, can't you just leave us alone!" She took a deep breath and decided she was going to offer them the pie she had also ordered as a peace offering. Then she decided against it, because she thought the women might make a comment about how she wouldn't have done that if she didn't know she was in the wrong. My friend may still have a long way to go emotionally. But one thing is certain. These employees need a good talking to and change of attitude, or they need to be replaced in the business of food SERVICE. This business will not have my business again. read more
