Alot of times after I pick up my order I have to park in the lot to check my food . Why is the bun break easily? Why can they warm it up ? The sandwich that I usually order is whopper. Stopped in just for a few drinks. Staff was very friendly and prompt with service. Soda machines are no longer self service, they will get your drink for you from behind the counter. Limited seating available--appears to be every other table. Tables that are open for seating have a sign stating it's been cleaned. Decided to come here on a Saturday night. Most of the other restaurants in the area were pretty full and this place wasn't too busy at all. Decided on a whopper meal and received it pretty quickly. We always get the same thing. Not sure what happened this time. The bacon king burger always has two patties. This time, only 1. We ordered no cheese. There was cheese. We ordered two large whopper patties for our dog, the patties were tiny! Wish we had looked into the bags before getting home! The receipt was spot on! This is a pretty standard Burger King. The service varies, I've experienced good and poor service at this location. There's a drive thru available, if you don't want to get out of your car, like me. Food is pretty consistent with all other Burger Kings, no complaints. We went through the drive thru on this visit, but I've also previously dined in. The tables and chairs are somewhat clean, it's what you'd expect from a fast food place. The bathrooms are decently maintained as well. We tried the spicy nuggets since they were having a special (10 for $1.99) and surprisingly it was pretty tasty. It's got a spicy flavor, but there's hardly any kick to it. But for that price, I'd buy it again! read more

Shame on you Burger King! Your "take this survey and get a free whopper" deal is a pure scam. If you read the tiny print (which most people don't, that's why they put it in tiny print) it says you have to also agree to purchase a small drink and side with the "free burger". Take the survey and check out your receipt after you cash in on it....notice the small fries and drink are almost TWICE the price they would normally be? Yeah, nice trick they pulled on you isn't it. Then when we went inside to try and get management to resolve this obvious shake down, they were "unavailable" because the place was too busy. People, don't go to Burger King. I'm not sure what people are expecting but you pull up to a window and order an entire meal, then drive your car 20 feet forward and 40 seconds later they have made your ENTIRE MEAL and have it ready to go waiting for you. A burger, sides, and a drink. Despite my many customizations it's never wrong, cold, or bad. Even their soda is perfect. The fact that this place runs with so much efficiency in Kailua Kona is a study in modern marvels. This place literally performs an impossible magic trick for customers and people still aren't happy. Like everyone else I had written off this location for over a year after multiple bad experiences. However, after a recommendation from my boss I decided to give them another chance. We were hungry after a long flight home and it was late, around 11 pm. Not a lot of quick options in town at that time so we went to BK. The staff was friendly, our order was correct and came out quickly, and the food was nice and hot. Everything you can ask for. The employees here are very friendly and respectful, despite the fact that they don't work for tips. This is a wonderful establishment here in Kailua; all are welcome. There is even an outlet for charging your phone, which is very rare in this city. The WiFi is a little slow, but besides that, this Burger King is top notch. read more

Having children you come familiar with fast food restaurant for a fast meal on-the-go.. and of All the Fast Food restaurants around here.. I think Burher King has the Best Fast Food Burger. Not best burger.. But Best Fast Food Burger.. Onion rings are good but you have tp make sure you ask for the Zesty Sauce... it makes a world of difference.. like fries without ketchup. The dining room area is big and clean for a quick sit down meal. AND unlike McDonalds.. you can get a burger before 10am.. lol. It means a lot when the children want a kids meal at 8am.... I also noticed someone getting a brekfast meal with nice hearty pieces of Bacon... This operation is scandalous. Not only does this unit not adhere to corporate specials, because of their greed, they simply ignore them. Food costs in the island is one thing. We pay more for shipping food to our islands, however according to shipping companies, the cost for shipping has not increased in years. In this pandemic, many companies are taking advantage of charging more because there is no oversight, no watchdog to monitor this price gauging practices. Shame on any local businesses that take advantage of what is obviously one of the most expensive places in country to eat, all they are concerned with is their own bottom line. Very nice establishment and affordable. Seemed very peaceful, which led me to think everyone was @ McDonald's.

They recently reopened after a)not moving to the old Wendy's location as planned and b)reemerging in the same place after a "renovation." What reno? Looks the same maybe with a cleaner floor ... for now. I don't know why they blocked off/put up a partition on almost half their counter space where customers used to pick up their orders. There are now only two registers where filled orders are slid out while other customers are placing orders. Awkward. People bumping into each other. Who planned this mess? So you have the "to go" customers bunched up by the soda machines mixed in with the "dine in" designees hovering for their orders. Lots of non-smiling faces. I waited almost 10 minutes for a whopper junior. It probably would've been a shorter wait if not for customers returning wrong or seeking missing items. I felt sorry for the cashier trainer and what appeared to be an unprepared supervisor. As for the burger? Bad. Fast food is unhealthy by nature but this burger was tough and gristly and the bun dry. The veggies were thrown on as an after thought. Ditto for the glop of mayo and ketchup. Maybe this was the cosmos telling me to forgo fast food? Message received. read more
