6510 Highway 121 Mckinney, TX 75070 Wednesday night, we headed out to Whataburger. On the way, one of us mentioned Burger King and how neither of us had been there in 10 years or so. We found the closest Burger King and headed that way. Appearance on the outside and inside was very nice. Hadn't been there in awhile so took a minute to look over the menu. They had items listed on a banner but when I asked for a better description, was told they didn't carry that product. Thought that was a bit odd but the story only goes downhill from here.... The person taking our order was nice but seemed a bit new. Think he mentioned he had been there a short while. Lack of training was very apparent but at least he was nice and tried to help us. I placed an order for a Whopper meal which was the only item we received that was correct. We also received 3 other sandwiches and the total was around @21.50 for the two of us. Seemed expensive to me but sometimes, we get food to go so figured that was the situation and really didn't think too much about it. When I got our order, my sandwich was fine. However, the other sandwiches were a mystery. I mentioned the 4 sandwiches that we received (there was only 2 of us) to my GF and was told we didn't order any food to go. My friend doctored up the food she received since it wasn't made how she requested it and ate it. I never did get my milkshake. Figured they were working on it but when I finished my hamburger and fries and it still hadn't showed up, I went back up to the counter and asked about it and got it after a short time. My GF went back up to the counter to ask about the extra sandwiches we received and paid for. It was interesting the receipt we received did not have any pricing on it. The employee did get us a receipt with pricing on it and it was clear (to everyone except her) that we were provided food we didn't request and paid for food we didn't request but the employee just blew us off. I stopped by the counter on the way out and told this person that it was too bad they couldn't find a way to resolve this situation. $21.50 for 2 people to eat at Burger King and I was the only one that got a combo meal. My GF only wanted a sandwich! My bill should have been about half of what it was. I know businesses sometimes are not doing as well as they'd like but this kind of scam was just mind blowing to me. No customer service whatsoever. No sign of intelligent life on the premise. Needless to say, won't be returning to that store EVER. read more

I used the mobile app to order food. The app confirmed location was open until midnight. When I arrived at 11:30 PM, all the lights were off and no one was working. Mobile app still charged me for an order I never received. Now I'm having to dispute the charge with my bank. This has happened multiple time at this location (posted hours say open but no one is working). As a new customer wanting to try out this chain, this leaves a poor image on the company overall. I had a bout 6 cars in front of me at 230pm I waited 27 min in the drive through... I ordered a whopper and spicy chicken nuggets with BBQ... at the drive thru I was charged $25 cents for sauce... after the 27 min wait I was given my order and NO recipe... I pulled off and stopped to check my order... I had no nuggets... I then put my car in park put my mask on and walked in and told them... only 2 people working that I could see... they gave me my nuggets and sauce... drove 15 min home and ate and found out I got some custom sandwich that had mustard that I hate and cooked jalapeños on it... I got the wrong sandwich!!! My entire order was wrong and I waited almost 30 min in the drove thru at 2pm on a Sunday... I will never ever come to this Burger King again and this is a shit show! I have visited this location twice and both times I had a bad experience with getting the order correct. The first visit was on 2/18/2020 and then today 3/20/2020.. Both times I ordered 2 bacon double cheese burgers, on the first trip they only put a single meat patty in the burger and then today they did the SAME DAMN thing. I love the Burger King Whopper. When it is hot and prepared timely. It makes for an awesome meal. This burger king location is the worst location I've ever been to. I have come here since they opened several years ago and can only think of one visit that I got my meal without some sorta hassle or the food I ordered being what I actually ordered. Today I went to the drive thru lane. There were 4 cars I could see ahead of me. I waited in line for 15 minutes and still had 2 cars in front of me just to order food. I finally decided that I had made an error coming here. Drove 3 minutes down the road to What a Burger and 5 minutes after that had my food in hand. This Burger King should shut its doors. They have no concept of Timely service or proper preparation, many of their staff have bad attitudes. I have met one of the managers for this location. I went in to order a number 1 meal and they asked if I wanted cheese with my burger, I said yes and told them to not give me any tomatoes. The lady even gave it to me and said there's no tomatoes.. But when I get home to eat my meal, there was no cheese and had tomatoes. They didn't put much effort on taking care of my burger cause it didn't have much onions or lettuce. This BK has some quality issues. When they started up the attitude was just plain poor. It's still not improved much. Someone needs to tell the young people who staff it that there is no winning by arguing with customers - especially when the customer is right! They seem to get the order right but only if you stay on top of the order. The "gamer" mentality reigns and the kids who take the orders seem to click, click, click rather than listening. We placed an order at 7:13 pm on 01/20/2020. At the drive-thru window, the cashier, Karisa, took our credit card, charged it, and asked us to pull forward to wait for the order to be ready. After 20 minutes, we still had not received our order, so I went inside to ask for the status. Karisa enquired about my order and returned, saying that she was sorry and that the machine was broken. I asked for the order to be canceled and for our money to be refunded. Another employee, Marquan, came and told me that no employee present was trained on how to refund, so I either needed to call corporate or come back the next day to void the transaction and get the money refunded. When we got our order, I noticed the chicken sandwich was tiny and definitely not royal! It looked Nothing like the picture. Flat and unappealing. Then I saw that both were missing the tomatoes. I took the chicken sandwich back up to the loud woman at the counter and explained I must have gotten the wrong sandwich and it looked like something you would get on the dollar menu. This BK is right by our house so we thought we would try out out of sheer convenience! This place is slow as dirt! We waited 28 minutes to get our food(2 burgers) which was barely warm! I could have drove across town, ordered food at another burger chain and drove home in the time it took to get my food here!! The BK at my location cannot seem to get the orders correct. New employees every visit. Management seems to be nonexistent and the Burgers are not prepared properly. I've been a huge fan of Whoppers for over 40+ years but this location just can't seem to get its act together. I'd give it a -0- if there were such a rating. Across the HWY from this BK is a Whataburger they seem to always get everything right, burgers are hot, prepared correctly with excellent service. I suspect the owner/franchisee of the location at Custer Rd and HWY 380 McKinney Texas is not interested in correcting the problem My order today had problems today I live 1/2 mile I asked the burgers to come off the broiler by the time i arrived home, less than 5 mins the burgers were stone-cold we had to take the meat out heat them back up and reassemble the hamburger. If it weren't for me and a few others this location would never have any traffic. I'm done with this location and will use the Whataburger across the street. read more

This location is only about 8 months old but i personally think that it should be shut down soon. I have gone to this restaraunt at least 4 times in the past month because its on my way to work. The service is very slow every time that i go there and there is usually no more than one or two cars ahead of me. The food has been very bad 3 out of the 4 times and they usually forget something important like...syrup, ketchup....etc.. I waited in line for 15 minutes this morning waiting for one car ahead of me to get one small bag of food. I got my food and it appeared to be cooked in grease that was old. The food was uneatable. Most of the people that i know in this area have had similar experiences that i have. Nobody goes to this location and i see why. Please do everyone a favor and shut it down. read more
