This is super close to the house and at first I was reluctant because I love the restaurant next door. If you have not been this is one of the better if not the best gyro in the area. The portions are great and the food was excellent. I ordered a fry bowl and a rice bowl and they both came with plenty of meat. If you love Halal-style food, and don't want to drive to Frisco or Plano for Halal Guys, this is the place to go! Everything made fresh in-house, I highly recommend the combo platter. I think their white and hot sauces are better than Halal Guys, and here you can get chickpeas and corn on top of the lettuce, tomato, onion and rice at no extra charge. We love the Plano location but this one missed the mark for us. The white sauce was not as flavorful and was thicker than it's supposed to be - almost like it had too much mayo. It was easily 85 degrees inside - not what you want on a 95 degree day. We were uncomfortable and just wanted to get out as quickly as possible. Walking in we were greeted warmly and the gentleman taking our order was nice and friendly. The place is casual with several tables to dine in. The food was prepared in a timely manner and customized perfectly. We were on our way in no time. The combo platter was packed and it was nice they included extra white sauce on the side. Most places are so stingy with this. The meats were flavorful, the rice was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were fresh. I asked for a little hot sauce but it seems theirs is not as spicy as I remembered. Portions were generous and easily two meals. Not the biggest fan of the falafels though. Will pass on those. This is a great place for takeout casual dinner. We always get the gyro. It's huge. The first time we ate there we also got French fries. It was way too much food. I usually am able to save 1/3 for lunch the next day. Good quality food. It's slightly different than gyros we've had all other places. I usually get one of the rice plates with the rice, veggies, and whatever protein I'm in the mood for...often I get the chicken or the gyro meat, and then add the garlic sauce and a bit of their hot sauce (careful, it gets pretty hot!) and mix it all together.
