So this is really my favorite place, but come on this is the only closest Culver's to my location. The rest are out and beyond can't say this is the best. The inside is nice and clean. The carpet is actually a good detail in here very little cute Culver's very small nothing big but I love it though was OK now I don't expect it to be right away. They have to make it since they're really busy on the weekends, but I praise the food though. One thing I despise is the drink dispensers all the drinks do not have syrup or whatever they put in there. It's just water. The workers are very nice. It had been forever since the last time I had Culver's and I was home by myself I decided to place a Dinner order. This time I got the Culver's Bacon Deluxe Value Basket with Large Crinkle Fries, Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese sauce and a medium Coca Cola. I also got a four piece Original Chicken Tenders with Honey Mustard and BBQ. For dessert I got a Medium Concrete Mixer with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Oreo Cookies. Yummmm double yummm! AWFUL FRIES Love the butter burgers but the fries are the absolute worst. Why? We always request fresh fries but it doesn't seem to make a difference so we'll have to get either skip fries or pick up better ones in almost every fast food place. Will never order a meal again. I was super surprised with the quality of food! Not only the food was great but the pricing was great as well! I got a chicken tender kids meal and it came with a custard ice cream as well! My family and I came here by recommendation as the best burger . Overall the Butterbutger was good. The sourdough burger was a bit too greasy, but the fish burger was our favorite. Like that they have options for those who don't want a beef burger such as cod sandwich/platter and veggie burger. Quick service and order is correct. Local spot that has ample parking but no drive through. Also good portion sizes. read more

It's been 9 years since my last/first visit...but not bc Culver's isn't amazing. Ordered food to-go today. There isn't a drive-thru, so I went inside to place my order. Ordered a pork tenderloin sandwich, double cheeseburger, fries and onion rings. Growing up in the Midwest, I was raised on pork tenderloins. This one was right up there in flavor, tenderness and crunch. I added tomato, lettuce, mayo and onion. The 1 thing I'd change is using white onion instead of red. No matter, it was still delicious. Hub said at least twice "this is a good burger". The multiple head shakes after taking a bite compliments the chef. As before, the onion rings were great! read more

I'm so happy there's Culver's in McKinney! My family has been wanting to try this, so we're glad there's a location close by. Being our first time, we had a lot of questions. Thankfully, the staff was so lovely and patient! They explained the differences in the menus and made sure our order was just how we wanted it. The food came out fairly quickly too! I ordered a single butterburger with cheesecurds, and my sister got custard alongside a Wisconsin Swiss melt (not pictured). The burger bun was soft, and the patty was juicy and all the flavors came together! My sister was underwhelmed by her Swiss melt though and didn't finish it. Nonetheless, the custard was a winner! Creamy and just the right consistency. ALSO GET THE CHEESE CURDS!!! It's not a trip to Culver's without at least indulging in some cheese curds! Coming from Chicago I'm used to going here. First it's not your normal location because it's in a strip mall. The food is the same and that's great. We've been here almost weekly. I've never had a bad experience at Culver's. My sister and I come here every time I get home from college because we are obsessed with the cheese curds and custard. We drive 20 minutes one way to get here just for the curds! As far as I'm aware, this is the only place you can get good cheese curds in North Texas (though I will say I haven't had true Wisconsin cheese curds to compare them to). Food was given to us very cold. Not lukewarm like it had been sitting there, but very cold. Also did not receive a side item. So my husband called to ask for a refund. The people on the phone refused to listen to my husband and giggled in the background about just saying sorry and that they were too busy to deal with it. We would have understood that they were two busy if we could not hear them all speaking in the background. The manager refused to come to the phone. It took 20 minutes of waiting and attempting to talk to someone to even get them to tell us that we had to come in for a refund. The unprofessionalism was truly shocking and the expectation that a customer would be okay with not getting the food they ordered or even a refund was ridiculous. We came to Culver's after looking at burger places near Allen's and was surprised at how high the reviews were. I was a little skeptical at first but from meeting the cashier who took our order to the service, I would give Culver's 5+ stars. My 2.5 year old was crying and sulking and Rebecca who was the cashier came over and brought us a side of fries and apple sauce without any prompting for my son. She then brought us Curtis which is the small doll mascot and wanted to make our son feel better. Lastly because we had our three other kids with us she wanted to give us a Culver's basketball so that all the kids felt included. I was shocked at the level of service at a burger place and will definitely be coming to Culver's for our burger fix. One of best fast food burgers I've eaten and Kringle fries with Wisconsin cheese! Burger patty was thin smashed patty with crispy edges. Add your own options I got everything on the burger- red onion, pickle, lettuce with cheese. I wish I got the fried Kurds but I got cheese sauce with Kringle fries. The bag of fries was filled w/ never ending fries. The freezer with half quart sizes of delicious Ice cream to go, yes please. Check out the flavor combo. Tried Culver's in McKinney for the first time today & was very happy. The hamburger is very good quality, better than In-N-Out & most other fast food/burger places. They offer real cheese, cheddar and Swiss - in addition to American. This is a must for me as I do not eat processed fake cheese. The cheese curds are amazing! I have high standards since I am from MN, but these are very good! Staff is extremely friendly, especially Chloe. She was very patient and helped me through the menu. There is absolutely nothing quite like a good crinkle cut French fry. I could be in the middle of a Channing Tatum Alex Trebek (shut up...you know you've dreamed of him) sandwich and I'd pause it to get some crinkle cuts. Channing would flex as he squeezed ketchup out and Trebek would snootily tell us the origin of the fry. Yeah...that's a legit Terri fantasy. You'd think a crinkle cut fry would be great just about anywhere. Nope. The grease needs to be clean, fluffy in the middle but a firm crisp exterior and it needs to be dunkable in some ketchup. Culver's does it perfectly every freaking time. Yeah, they have burgers with buttery buns, but who gives a crap when they have perfect fries? It's a little pricier than the Happy Meal for the kids, but kids meals come with an ice cream. Mine LOVE Culver's and we hit it up anytime we are doing family movie night (it's next door to Family Video). They also have some redonk chili. Hells yeah I make my own, but I've also been known to hit up Wendy's and Culver's. Culver's is more like homemade, really substantial and all. Onions and cheese on it take it from "pretty good" to "shut up and take my money" greatness. Go. Get fries and chili and fantasize about game show hosts. Pat Sajak is a good one too. Ordered a cake cone with mint chocolate chip. Came 10 minutes later and gave me a bowl of chocolate. The server told me she gave my ice cream to someone else and would fix it. 30 minutes later nothing happened so I went up to the same server who told me they were making me wait because mint chocolate chip wasn't on my ticket. I would have just paid another $2 but the line was too long. After another 10 minutes they come out with a half vanilla half mint chocolate chip bowl which I again told them was wrong so they literally set a cone on top and gave it back. Thanks Culvers!
