I did the drive-through due to being in a big hurry. The guy took my order. He repeated it to me and I can see on the ticket that he got it right that I wanted it no mayo add mustard and catchup. Well used to be you could have it your way at Burger King but lately not so much I get the standard burger with Mayo. Unfortunately I'm in hurry which is why I went through the drive-through so I don't have time to get it corrected, but this has been the last several times I've been to Burger King and it doesn't matter which one I go to. Again I'm not blaming the guy who took my order. He got my order correct except he forgot ketchup. But the kitchen just didn't bother to look at the ticket or didn't care. I don't usually leave reviews, but this Burger King deserves some praise. I stopped by during lunch and ordered a Whopper with no cheese, medium fries, and a Diet Coke. Everything came out fresh, hot, and exactly how I asked for it. The burger was juicy and had that classic flame-grilled taste that sets BK apart from other fast food spots. While in Texas we started seeing commercials for Burger King offering a new burger. It's the "impossible burger". Well we are not Burger King eaters....and have not eaten here in years. The impossible burger is made of plants and there is no meat. I should probably also say I am not a vegetarian and I really don't get why vegetarians keep trying to make plants look like meat and taste like meat if they don't like meat....but enough said. Hubby and I split the burger because we were afraid to order 2. The staff at the restaurant had not tried the burger and clearly was not interested in giving it a shot...we are in Texas after all. We are happy to report we were unable to tell the difference between the regular char grilled burger (meat) and the char grilled impossible burger. Staff at this restaurant greeted us with smiles and a warm welcome(they probably thought we were crazy ordering a plant burger). I challenge you to order one of each and do a blind taste test. Read my order slowly and carefully from a prepared list. Asked the cashier to read it back to me. Could not understand him because he went so fast. Should have driven off at that point but did not. Got to the pickup window and the cashier was wearing a mask over his mouth but under his nose. Again should have driven off. Had specifically told cashier clearly not to put cheese on the burger. Burger had cheese on it which I could only partially remove after I got home. Had specifically told Cashier not to put salt or seasoning on the burger. This did not appear on the receipt and the burger tasted like it had seasoning added perhaps because of the cheese. From now on I will drive the extra 6 miles round trip to Whataburger. If there was an ability to post negative stars, I would. Long road trip on Christmas Day evening and this was the ONLY place in town open. They should've known they would be busy. However, not only were they obviously short staffed, the drive thru and lobby were full when we went in. We ordered and waited quite a while. The drink machine was out of ice. No tea at all during our whole stay. No ketchup in the container. Staff running their mouths and giving less than a crap about their job to tend to customers. Numerous people complaining about the quality and appearance of their food. Then we received our food. Cold nasty fries. Asked for no tomatoes or onions. Hey MERRY CHRISTMAS we got them anyway! Bathrooms were dirty. Overall AVOID this place. Burger King should overhaul this shit hole, starting with the staff. read more

We stopped here so our son could stretch his legs and play on a long road trip. Would have gone to McD's next door but they didn't have a play area. Food was your typical fast food so that is neutral. Play area was filthy. I was charged extra for ordering milk and apple slices on my sons kids meal instead of the soda and fries. My gorgeous son, Greg got stuck on one of those slides they have at Burger King and I was freaking out!! Like I could've died but luckily this handsome girl with very nice makeup and lovely hair helped my son get unstuck and even taught him how to love himself. Picked up burgers and nuggets to go. Got to park to eat and no nuggets. Anytime we go inside the music is turned up like a night club, loud, loud. Customers complain but staff says they have no control over loudness of the music. This morning, Manager said OK to turning down but she never turned down. Store is dirty and are usually out of condiments. Turn down the music this is not a dirty nightclub, just a loud dirty burger king. read more

Was tired and decided to give this BK a try for a change versus driving further to a sit-down restaurant. I placed Order #91 on 03-17-15. I was charged 4.49 for a tender crisp and a whopping 2.19 for a small fries for a grand total of over $7. Talk about a whopper. 1. The chicken sandwich of course didn't look anything like the menu board image. This nothing special sandwich had a chicken breast shaped deep fried patty with a thin, frankly chintzy crumb coat. 2. The bun was also unremarkable and most importantly, it had a stingy swipe of thick, bland mayo, two tomato slices, and hardly any lettuce. The only relief from the giant fat load, the bright freshness of a cheap, leafy green vegetable was treated like caviar. 3. The two workers on duty were more interested in their gossip and preening their weaves. Lately, no fast food workers can muster even so much as a smile. Just a smile. 4. There is a clearly long-neglected leaking pipe stand within five feet of customer cars on the way to the pay window with an ugly bloom under it of decay and scum, studded with dissolving cigarette butts and random detritus. The drip, drip, drip leaves a wandering trail through the black slime. Yeah, that's appetizing. 5. In Texas, most franchisee owners are absentee operators: they hire who they think will keep them out of the place as much as possible. Really think standards are kept up when the owner is rarely there and the manager is barely 18? 6. Unfortunately, Texas in recent years has given up on its food handler program. I've learned the hard way: if the franchise corporation has strict food handling standards, you run less risk of the "stomach flu" later. But if the restaurant isn't a chain, you're on your own. (Dine defensively, allow NO ice in your drink--you won't need it and you'll get more actual drink, which is THE most over-priced fast food menu item.) It's been a long time since I've eaten at BK for long-standing reasons: it is over-priced, it trains barely adequate customer service, and serves food of marginal flavor and quality. It was a good reminder why I rarely eat fast food anymore, anywhere. I will happily go back to just ordering a breakfast burrito on the rare occasions I'm up that early and on the road.
