If I could, I would put a zero. Went to Burger King today and ordered a whopper with cheese. Took it back to the office. All I had was a plain hamburger with cheese. Nothing else, I went back to complain and received absolutely terrible service. One worker told me not to be rude, and the manager was very unhelpful. Told me it didn't matter he couldn't help me because I didn't bring back the burger, which I threw away, I didn't have my receipt because I told the worker at the window I didn't need it. My sister used to be the manager at this Burger King over 20 years ago and she ran a tight ship. Had a very successful operation. This was an absolute disgrace. The manager was facetious. I placed a mobile order here, but when I arrived the lobby was closed and the drive-thru had a height restriction under my vehicle size. This left me with no safe way to pick up my order. When I explained this, the staff (Crystal) told me I had to walk through the drive-thru, which is both unsafe and embarrassing. Instead of offering a solution like curbside or handing it off at the door, she acted as if I was inconveniencing her. I don't know what the problem was today at this location, usually we can get through the drive through with minimal issues but today was a 40 MINUTE WAIT. They ignored my husband at the window for like 15 minutes while he watched our food sitting on the counter, then the lady that handed the bag to him gave him the dirtiest look for whatever reason. Yesterday 8/1/25 my wife and I ordered 2 x Brisquette beef and fries through the drive up window however when we got home the order was incorrect and cold. Today I returned and initially tried to enter the store however a sign said due to "short staffed" it was drive up only. On reaching the drive up window I explained the situation and was told by a very rude employee that because I did not bring yesterdays food back they were not interested in helping us. Another young lady who claimed to be in charge took the receipt proceeded to fold it up and lock the window when I requested my money back. We stopped for lunch in Wasilla and my grandson asked to go to Burger King. I should have taken them at their namesake and ordered one of the burger choices. But no I had to order the Deluxe Spicy Chicken Sandwich $10.39 with large fries $0.80 upgrade and an Oreo Milkshake $1.80 upgrade when you order the meal version. The chicken filet was slightly moist and tasted good. However the breading ok except for the outer half inch which was fried to an uneditable hardness that was more akin to a jaw breaker candy than chicken sandwich. It was to long in the deep fryer or microwave to eat the outer edge. The only difference between a Crispy Chicken Sandwich which my grandson had and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich was they splashed hot sauce on the roll and breading before wrapping it for serving. The neither chicken or breading had any spice in the preparation or cooking. I can had a couple of packets of hot sauce to my sandwich without paying $0.20 extra. That appeared to be the only difference between the Deluxe Crispy Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich. The fries were mildly undercooked and mushy and the size of the large order is much smaller than I remember. About the size of the medium at their rivals. Overall their fries compared equally well to their competitors except for size. The milkshakes was flavorful with small bits of ground Oreo cookie or something similar in the thick milky mix. It was cold and required effort to suck through the small straw. About 20 oz and very good. My wife chose the No.1 Whopper Deluxe Cheese Burger $9.99 with the small cost for upgrades with the similar order of fries and milkshake as ours. My observation of her sandwich and her description was that it was a very good burger with lettuce, one and half small slices of tomato and a slice of cheese. The bun was standard for fast food burgers. Overall she was very satisfied and happy with her burger. I believe it is evident that many food businesses are reducing portions and struggling to employ sufficient and experienced staff. The three staff members working on a Saturday afternoon were friendly and very efficient. They were excellent. If they aren't busy enough they have to personally operate the code locks to allow customers to use the bathrooms. I have never encountered this situation before but I have encountered locked bathrooms mostly in roadside service stations but never a fast food restaurants. They have been required to do this to prevent damage and by non-customers using the bathrooms. read more

I wish there was an option to give zero stars. I was in the drive thru yesterday and ordered a whopper and asked for it to be cut in half please. I have done this before, and it has not been an issue. I pulled up and paid and received my order and discovered it was not the correct order at all and not cut in half. I let the scruffy haired looking man know nicely and he was rude and had instant attitude. At that point I asked for a refund as I can't trust him to make my food with the hostility he was showing. I did not yell or raise my voice and asked for them to make it right. I was told "nope" and at that point I was shocked and stated you messed it up and please refund me. He stated "nope" and told me to call corporate, and I asked for corporate's number of which he told me to look it up myself. I sat in the drive-thru and did that. They know the corporate number does not work or goes to anyone and by giving this response they know it will not work. He was rude, antagonistic, and the curly-haired girl that was working with him joined in with her unprofessionalism as well. I will never go back here again. Burger King, let's talk. I only come and visit you once, or so, a year these days when I don't have a lot of time to go anywhere else. When I do I just hope my order is going to be done right. I'll be honest I grew up on your original chicken sandwich and still have a soft spot in my heart for it, even though it's fast food. However, when we roll through the drive-thru, and it's not busy, and you're still get our order wrong it's kind of frustrating. What's even more frustrating is when I order that favorite chicken sandwich of mine and ask for it plain with only ketchup that's how it should come. It's pretty sad to get one that has half mayonnaise on one side showing clearly that the person started to put the mayo there and realized it wasn't supposed to have any. Instead of starting with a new piece of chicken they simply put the ketchup on top it. That's embarrassing for a restaurant. Also you forgot one of our hamburgers. If it wasn't for the fact the my husband still loves BK, we would never go to this one again! the food is cold, the buns always dry, and the lettuce is as limp and lifeless as a deflated balloon. My birthday was ruined! I asked for a spicy chicken sandwich combo but in stead I got a plain. When asking for it to be remade I got hung up on by the female manager. Terrible. I still go there because it's the nearest (and only) one in the valley outside Anchorage. My food has been given to the driver in front of me more times than I can count. Had to switch orders with them in the parking lot.... wasn't waiting 45 minutes in line again, so I chased down the person in front of me, I knew what happened as it happens often.
